- Do Deer Attractants Really Work? Well today we are putting the 2 most popular baits to the test to see if they really do attract deer and do the deer prefer the attractant to actual yellow corn? Well lets review this game camera video and see :)

You can't tell if the buck bourbon or the deer cane works separately.. you should have done them separately...
It wasn't a vs video so I did them together to see if the mixture of the 2 would attract them, which it did but if you would like to see that video all you have to do is ask 😀

Tip for next time I wouldn’t put liquids on fine grain like that it increases mold chances and sourness , corn is fine but on fine grain like that it will mold quickly with moisture, just a tip! And keeping any liquid/ gel mineral shook up keeps everything from settling in the bottom of container and helps it work better with everything shook up

They’re different attractants. Ones a grain and the other is a mineral so they are going to have different results. Personally I like the Deer Cane in the powder form can throw it right on the ground. Of course you want to make a small “dug up” area to pour it on, I’ve had deer make a 4x4 hole 6 inches deep before.
I just tried that powder deer Cane on my last video and it did really good!!! Was surprised because it didn't have much smell
Works really well during spring and summer months. I usually put a mineral spot as close to water as I can great stuff!
You should use the cmere deer 3 day harvest because I heard it works pretty good

I experiment with the deer cocaine and similar liquid products. I get NOTHING(here in Pa.), in Aug+Sep. BUT! In Dec+Jan, when it's really cold out, they will dig 6" down, removing rocks the size of bricks! So, I guess they need the minerals when there is very little other food around?
I haven't had any luck with either one of these. The raccoons like the Buck Bourbon and I haven't had one deer on the area I put the Deer Cane...
That's weird... did you try to mix it with corn to see if that would help? I know some deer are picky eaters.
@@darkreelaction I tried it like it comes first and then I added corn to it after they didn't eat it.

I hunted on private land the owner baited,I shot one, it felt like someone had a leash on the deer and was tied to a tree, its not hunting
I totally understand how it can feel like that if it is done all year round but these deer are not introduced to this feed until September-December. That's all. After deer season I back off and go fishing. If you check out the channel you will see 😀 thank you for the comment
