Jesus the Jew never ate unclean food. The God of Jesus does not lie or change his mind. This saying does not change what is clean and unclean, it is just saying that you are not clean simply based on what you eat and do not eat. All Commandment followintg individuals should not judge those that do not know the commandments of the Father.

Yes that's right, cos Jesus is trying to say here that those ppl who are vicked in their heart and still thinks that they are holy bcos they follow diatery laws is secondary!!! Is doesn't abolish the law he is pointing out that spiritual is before physical!!! But God want us to be first clean in our heart and secondly in our body

For out of the heart come evil thoughts-murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.

@@dorinamary7863cud is regurgitated food that is chewed again, so that the animal can extract nutritional value from cellulose which is usually undigested. This process is called rumination. Oxford dictionary gives two definitions for “Ruminate”, 1: “to think deeply about something.”
2: “(of a ruminant) chew the cud”
Like you said, to ruminate, is to meditate, or think deeply about what you consume, rather than quickly consuming and moving on to the next thing. This can be applied to all manners of things in life, but definitely to reading the Word of God.

    Great overall message!
It is prudent to abstain from foods that may harbor impurities, for they can bring forth sickness. This mirrors the wisdom of avoiding wicked individuals, as their influence can sow seeds of spiritual ailment within. This perspective expands the significance of dietary laws, emphasizing not only what is forbidden to consume but also the importance of avoiding association with unclean influences that may poison your soul in times to come."

Not really what the bible says though (I dont eat porc since I chose to abstain from it).
The bible itself clearly sees the "pig" as a symbol for gentiles. You being Indian; are a gentile according to acts 10.
This means the following: if you are clean; the pig is clean as well.
1 Corinthians 10:25-27 is pretty clear: abstaining is only a definite with meat sacrificed to idols that is then "declared" a sacrifice publicly before giving it to you.
"in the name of my God; eat this". That is what you MUST deny.

  • @valleysgardens6697
    @valleysgardens6697 Před 8 měsíci +5

Apparently you have never seen a live pig, or read what the bible says. The pigs hoof is split, like a cow or deer. The pig ,however does not chew it's cud.
That is why we aren't supposed to eat pork, because it has a split hoof, and doesn't chew it's cud.
Ad well, there are encoded parasites in pork that do not die when cooked, but are burst open by stomach acids, which then releases parasites into your body.
It's not good for you, period.
Sorry sir, your message is off balance here.
Either you are willing to accept God's principles, or not. If he said, don't eat the pig, then simply obey God, and don't eat it. Simple. Keep to God's word, and the truth, not a fabrication of nonsense.

This is not a true teaching the vision for Paul about kill and eat was about preaching to gentiles, that non Jews are not unclean people. The Jews back then and many still today see gentiles as unclean people. This is what the vision was about not about food. That’s why Paul said that he understood the vision and he himself admits it’s not about food it’s about preaching to the gentiles.

It is true that everything God created is good, but that does not mean that it is (good) for eating. Although the kosher commandment can be interpreted figuratively, it remains clear. That was true in the Old Testament, and it is also true in the New. The Lord Jesus Christ certainly did not eat pork (although we do not have a clear account of this in the NT, it can be believed). A pig is good as a creature that has its role in the ecosystem that God created and maintains, but it is not good to eat precisely because of its purpose in nature. This is of course my opinion, but I don't think it's arbitrary.

      14
When He had called all the multitude to Himself, He said to them, “Hear Me, everyone, and understand:
      15
There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man.
      16
If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”
      17
When He had entered a house away from the crowd, His disciples asked Him concerning the parable.
      18
So He said to them, “Are you thus without understanding also? Do you not perceive that whatever enters a man from outside cannot defile him,
      19
because it does not enter his heart but his stomach, and is eliminated, thus purifying all foods?”
      20
And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man.
      21
For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
      22
thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
      23
All these evil things come from within and defile a man.”

      ***Acts 10:9-15
      9
The next day, as they went on their journey and drew near the city, Peter went up on the housetop to pray, about the sixth hour.
      10
Then he became very hungry and wanted to eat; but while they made ready, he fell into a trance
      11
and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet bound at the four corners, descending to him and let down to the earth.
      12
In it were all kinds of four-footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air.
      13
And a voice came to him, “Rise, Peter; kill and eat.”
      14
But Peter said, “Not so, Lord! For I have never eaten anything common or unclean.”
      15
And a voice spoke to him again the second time, “What God has cleansed you must not call common.”
      16
This was done three times. And the object was taken up into heaven again.

Here's a question I have for you the reader. Can a Christian sin? If you answered yes, then you would be correct. But now answer me this, what is sin? According to the Apostle John (1 John 3:4) "sin", …"is the transgression of "the-law". But what law? Well, the one out of the Old Testament of course (saving for animal sacrifices) because the New Testament had yet to be written. But didn't the Apostle Paul state that the Church is no longer..."under Law but under Grace"? He sure did.
But if we are no longer under any law, then how is it even possible for a Christian to sin, because clearly sin the transgression of the law. Notice that John didn't say that sin was the transgression of Love...but transgression of the law. And knowing that we can all sin should make plain to us that there must be a law that we are all under and can transgress thereby making it possible to sin. That is just common sense and cannot be argued with. Yet the answer is simple one but overlooked by most Christians. You see, the New Testament divides the Law into three separate and distinct parts. There is what the New Testament calls the...1) "the works of the law" (which are all of the animal sacrifices etc...), then there's the...2) "curse of the law" and finally what Paul calls 3) " the righteousness of the law" which is every OT law that concerns itself with loving your neighbor and God. And although it is true that Christ fulfilled the need for the "works of the law", its evident that he never made void the..."righteousness of the law" which summed up is, Love.
But again, why did Paul say that Christian's are no longer under the law but under grace? Well, actually he didn't, we just assume that's what he said. You see, When Paul wrote those words and what the Church failed to pay attention too, was to "whom" Paul was writing. Paul makes it ever so plain in the book of Romans that he was speaking to those who had "...taken up their cross and crucified the flesh with the lust thereby"... and who had begun to walk in the "Spirit". Go back and re-read Romans once again.
It was to those Christians who had "crucified" their flesh and considered themselves to be dead to sin and was walking in the "Spirit" to whom Paul was telling that they were no longer under the law but under grace! But why? Because dead men..."Do Not Sin"! The dead are no longer under any law and is the reason that he used the analogy of a woman and her husband who had died. It was death that made her free from the law! It was to those who considered themselves dead in Christ and who daily crucified their flesh to whom Paul was speaking of not being under the law...But, and if a person chooses to walk after the flesh (and yes, even Christians) and do the works of the "flesh" which are Adultery, fornication, wickedness, idolatry, lying, etc...are all under the law and its curse...
***But, to him who walks after the Spirit and does the things of the Sprit which are...Love, joy, peace, long-suffering, patience, kindness, temperance, joy etc...then THEY, are not under the law simply because against the things of the Spirit...."THERE IS NO LAW"! Read: Galatians 5:16-18. This is why Christ said that if a man "lose" his life he will find it. But if a man walks after the lust of his flesh (finds his life) he will lose it.
Paul wasn't telling people not to keep the "righteousness of the law" but to the contrary, he was telling people that if they walked in the Spirit of God they would be fulfilling the righteousness of the law because in the Spirit there only exist Love which is the "fulfilling of the law"! No sin dwells there. But get this one thing straight, Love, is simply the four letter word chosen by God to sum up the keeping of the law while the word "sin" is the word that God chose to describe the breaking or "transgressing" the law! Therefore, for anyone walking in the Spirit there is no need for a law, for no sin dwells there. And we know that the law was made for sinners, even Christians who refuse to crucify their flesh. Therefore, there is a law that all Christians are under, else it would be impossible to sin, yet we know that the law is meant for those walking after the lust of their sinful flesh, for IN THE FLESH dwells no good thing and it only lives to lust and to sin, or break the law!
But to say that the OT law of righteousness has been made obsolete is outright ignorance and foolishness. God never condemned the law as most believe, what He did do was condemned the flesh that was always breaking that law. He never intended that the righteousness of the law be removed from the Church, but rather that our flesh be removed from the equation, for in removing the flesh there only remains the spirit. And a born-again man filled with the Spirit of God who crucifies his flesh can do nothing but walk in the fruit of the Spirit of which against...there is no law. And that my friends is why Paul stated that we are under grace and not law. But the choice is ours. This is why the word of God when speaking of the law says that it is Holy, Just and Good. Moreover, in the Psalms (I believe it's in the Psalms) God outright calls the 'Law...The "Way" the "Truth" and the "Life". Sound familiar folks?
There is no need for a law for those walking after the Spirit and no law exist there FOR IT IS SIMPLY NOT NEEDED. Men do not need a law against not lying, not committing adultery, not stealing, not blaspheming the Spirit of the Lord and so on, therefore there is no need for a law! The "law" was made for sinners which being interpreted means, to those who walk after the flesh in which lust lives. Paul was trying to tell us that it is the..."DEAD MAN" who does not sin, or better put..."transgress the law"! But to say that the righteousness of the law has been redacted or has been made void is asinine. We are told to Love correct? That is because (as the word for transgressing the law was summed up into one three letter word and called "sin") God also chose a four letter word that summed up the keeping of his laws and that word is..."Love"! Therefore, Love, is the fulfilling of the law. Love establishes the OT law, not voids it.
So, can a Christian eat pork. Absolutely not, and is why 17 years after Christ death, burial and resurrection when Peter had the vision of the unclean animals and said..."not so my Lord, for I have NEVER eaten anything unclean or common". Think about that for a moment, 17 years after Christ ministry Peter still was not eating Pork. And if Christ had declared all foods clean as some of our modern (so-called) translation say he did, then surely Peter would have known it. Or else Peter missed class that day or didn't get the memo. But I can assure that is not the case, Peter missed nothing. He hadn't eaten any unclean animals because the law of clean and unclean still applied and was very much in effect as it is to this day. Time would fail me to answer all the questions and comments that I may receive over this. But I can assure you that the laws of righteousness have went no where and are very much still in effect to include the 7th day Sabbath. And no, I'm not a 7th-day Adventist. I am Hebrew roots. God Bless.

Jesus(son of Mary), will descend on the earth, and he will not accept any other religion except Islam -- the true religion of Allah Islamic Monotheism.
On the Day of Resurrection, a call-maker will announce,
*"Let every nation follow that which they used to worship."*
Then none of those who used to worship anything other than Allah like idols and other deities but will fall in Hell (Fire), till there will remain none but those who used to worship Allah, both those who were obedient (i.e. good) and those who were disobedient (i.e. bad) and the remaining party of the people of the Scripture.
Then the Jews will be called upon and it will be said to them,
*'Who do you use to worship?'*
They will say, 'We used to worship Ezra, the son of Allah.'
It will be said to them, 'You are liars, for Allah has never taken anyone as a wife or a son. What do you want now?'
They will say, 'O our Lord! We are thirsty, so give us something to drink.'
They will be directed and addressed thus, 'Will you drink,' whereupon they will be gathered unto Hell (Fire) which will look like a mirage whose different sides will be destroying each other.
Then they will fall into the Fire.

It will be said to them,
*You are liars, for Allah has never taken anyone as a wife or a son.*
Then it will be said to them, 'What do you want?'
They will say what the former people have said. Then, when there remain (in the gathering) none but those who used to worship Allah (Alone, the real Lord of the Worlds) whether they were obedient or disobedient.
Then (Allah) the Lord of the worlds will come to them in a shape nearest to the picture they had in their minds about Him. It will be said, 'What are you waiting for?' Every nation have followed what they used to worship.' They will reply, 'We left the people in the world when we were in great need of them and we did not take them as friends. Now we are waiting for our Lord Whom we used to worship.' Allah will say, 'I am your Lord.' They will say twice or thrice, 'We do not worship any besides Allah.' "
      (Sahih al-Bukhari 4581)

An off the wall comment about this stuck with me whether it's true or not, that a pig is a hybrid creation of fallen angels and is part human, and this is why it's a forbidden food.

Only christians eat pork, I’m Jew and in the Torah, the prohibition against eating pork is laid out in Leviticus and Deuteronomy, which are two of the five books of the Torah, part of the Hebrew Bible. These passages specifically discuss animals considered clean and unclean for consumption by the Israelites.
Leviticus 11:7-8 it states: "And the pig, because it divides the hoof, thus making a split hoof, but does not chew cud, it is unclean for you. You shall not eat of their flesh nor touch their carcasses; they are unclean for you.
In Deuteronomy 14:8,the prohibition is repeated: "The pig, because it divides the hoof yet does not chew the cud, is unclean for you; you shall not eat their flesh nor touch their dead carcasses."
These verses clearly establish the prohibition against consuming pork, categorizing it as an unclean animal due to its specific physical characteristics, such as not chewing cud despite having a split hoof.

I think he was drawing a long bow with this explanation. Cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs are cloven-footed animals, meaning that the hoof consists of two digits, instead of one. So his explanation of the pig having only one hoof is incorrect. My thoughts are that he just didn't think this explanation through very well. Though I can grasp the concept, if the explanation is THAT complex, it's not surprising the Jews got it wrong. For example, if the only sin that was being committed in Sodom and Gomorrah was that they loved eating pork four times a week, I seriously doubt God would have destroyed them. I think God made the explanation clear when he told Peter that it's not what you put into you mouth but what comes out of your mouth that's filthy. I suspect, that the rule of not eating pork was one of 470,859 rules God put in place to make the Jews understand that finding salvation by trying to obey so many complex rules was futile. Man can't even obey ten commandments, much less stick to all the rules and regulations set out in Jewish law.
Jesus tried to make that clear to both Jew and Gentile, that salvation did not come by not eating pork or by obeying the countless laws set in place but by your devotion to and your love for God.
So, go ahead and enjoy a hearty pork chop people, just remember and give homage to he who made that meal possible.

Good explanation, but I think he is wrong on this. God instructed the Israelites through Moses in a very detailed manner, and nothing in the context suggests a different meaning.
By the way the Israelites were forbidden from eating pork because even though the hoof was split, it did not chew the cud. Likewise the camel chewed the cud, but was not split hooves. Birds of prey, animal carcasses, fish with no scales, it was a long list.
The point is that these were ceremonial laws for the Hebrews, God had set them apart. The rest of the world didn't know about these. If we are to follow all the Jewish laws 600 plus, then we need to redeem every first born male at the Temple, circumcise every male child on the 8th day, observe the feast of Tabernacles, the list goes on and on.
The moral law Ten commandments which out Lord Jesus condensed into two, as Love the Lord your God with all your heart... And love your neighbour as yourself is what we Christians are held to

@DennisBonich so can you murder today, commit adultery etc because of the new covenant? Jesus said he came to fulfill the law not a abolish it. He said not an iota will change from the law. So the law remains. The question is the law or Torah was a covenant between God and the descendants of Abraham, that is the Israelites. We outside of this like to cherry pick what is useful and disregard the rest. Like for example churches demand tithes but they don't follow other Jewish traditions.
So yes there is a new covenant for all nations but this new covenant is spiritual and not ritual. The Father and I will take up residence in human hearts Jesus said. We become spiritually children of God, and spiritually the law is written in our hearts, to know at all times what to say, eat, or do. Amen.

@ericbadu3726 So it begs the question, should we all be circumcised as Christians also, and follow all the old Jewish laws? Do you mean to suggest when God lives in us that we will know all of the old laws? Genuine question from someone trying to make sense of all the differing opinions.

    • @ericbadu3726
      @ericbadu3726 Před 6 měsíci

@@suggitmknugget4659 Yes it does bring out more questions for us. I believe in the New Testament we have the law written in our hearts, we worship the Father in Spirit and Truth. We must therefore have a personal relation with God and His Holy Spirit will guide us in our daily lives.
I don't think one human can satisfy the 600 plus laws given to the Hebrews through prophetcMoses. The Hebrews themselves couldn't do it, and failed miserably everytime as documented in the Bible. Enter Jesus Messiah who says there is an amnesty everyone lay down your old lives and turn to God, and your sins are covered in the Greatest Passover by my shed blood on the cross. This is the New Covenant.
If we accept this offer he and the Father enter our hearts and from hence forth our desire is to do what pleases God. What is important is that we live spiritually and so are guided spiritually what to do or say.

Let the word of God be our teacher, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, what is written in the bible is for our benefits if the preacher says that we can eat all foods then even camels, zebras, snakes, and even eagles because this many people do not eat such animals

when you read that in its full context Jesus was talking about the tradition of the Jews to wash their hands before eating and after Jesus said what he did about nothing entering your mouth, by "unwashed hands", can make you unclean..he says "THEREFORE eating with unwashed hands does not make one unclean"
And anywhere in scripture something is added in parenthesis as in ("he pronounced all foods clean") was not in the original text
