@eliohayek8955 There have been elements of symbolic beauty since the Ark of the Covenant. A painting or statue in the Church isn't worshipped, because we know the material itself is just creation. We are symbolically prompting our life to be reverent to God through the visual queues, that's all.

    • @BethSpary
      @BethSpary Před 8 měsíci

@@patriciaholigores4931 It says both. Jesus Christ told Matthew to baptise all nations in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19) - notice that "name" is singular.
Paul said to baptise in the name of Jesus Christ (e.g. Acts 2:38). There are a couple of explanations for this that you can look at with a bit of research (such as who is being addressed in these passages).
But ultimately, the trinitarian formula has been held by the earliest Christians (refer to Didache)

@@BethSpary If you've never bowed before a cross or a holy image, that's fine, but if you've done all of these things and don't regret it, you have a problem. It's not me who judges you, it's the Word of God. Exo 20:3-6: "You have no other Gods before Me. You do not make a carved image for yourself, or any likeness which [is] in the heavens above, or which [is] in the earth beneath, or which [is] in the waters under the earth. You do not bow yourself to them, nor serve them: for I, your God YHWH, [am] a zealous God, charging iniquity of fathers on sons, on a third and on a fourth [generation] of those hating Me, and doing kindness to thousands, of those loving Me and keeping My commands."
Deu 6:4-5: "Hear, O Israel: Our God YHWH- YHWH [is] one! And you have loved your God YHWH with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might." And don't say that it's only the Old Testament, because in the New Jesus confirms these words. Mat 22:36-38: "“Teacher, which [is] the great command in the Law?” And Jesus said to him, “You will love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your understanding- this is a first and great command;"
As you can see, the Word of God is greater than human words and can defend itself against false doctrines.

During the 2nd century, Coptic church taught the gospel’s message according to Arius school of thought. Arius believed in 3 but Jesus is not equal to Father.
Proof of this doctrine is from Matthew 28:
18-Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
19-Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20-and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
According to Matthew, after Jesus rose from the dead, he met with his disciples. He came back with a forbidden doctrine. He said I am now given power to control and intervene in your lives.
Read Mark chapter 16:9-20. Historians said how come the meeting end up happening if Mary did not tell anything to anyone. On the back of this clue, bible scholars conducted textual examination and found out that Mark 16:9-20 is an insertion and that the meeting with the resurrected Jesus did not take place.
In conclusion, most likely Matthew 28.18-20 is an insertion because it is the words of the resurrected Jesus. It is important to note that chapter endings are susceptible to corruption compared to text in the middle of the chapter.

Eastern orthodoxy is not Christian. Did you hear the man in this video say that God can not cry? Then he says God can do anything and you are a sinner if you place limitations on God's ability.
Choose Eastern Orthodoxy if you want but it is not Christian. They worship idols, pray to saints, place limits on God, worship Mary.

That's interesting. God can be clearly mad, we can see this in the bible, don't we? Don't they pray to saints same as catholic? Some people say and If you look it up as well Orthodox is original Christian believe, but wasnt it split from the catholic? How can it be orginal then? As i said first christian were clearly jews, Jesus's follower all Jews. Himself a Jew. He was sent for the Jews. Its a interesting experiment, but can God lie? If he can thats a problem, If he can't, he has a problem since now he has a limit. Also some do worship Mary but i think we have to at least differanciate about interfering and worshiping. Still the bible says noone can interfere for you only god isn't that right? 🤔 meaning even catholic, which are the majoritiy are straight up wrong. Been raised in a Christian Family and recently interested into christianity or jesus in general. Anyway this is my observation, which Christianity are you from, or would you say you are a new born Christian that isn't from anywhere? 🤔

    • @br.m
      @br.m Před 9 měsíci

@@chaosinfernoid9008 Hi. I think it is dangerous to limit God. Since God can do anything, surely God could lie.
Now just because God can lie does not mean God does lie.
Do you remember when Jesus met the woman at the well? She was not a Jew but she believed in Jesus and then her whole town believed in Jesus. So yes the first followers of Jesus were Jews but others also followed him.
Just like Paul was apostle to the gentiles but he also preached to many Jews too.
The Catholics and Eastern Orthodox both claim to be the "one and only" church. They can not both be right but they can both be wrong!
They claim they are the original church, dating all the way back to Jesus. However if they would read the New Testament they would see there never was one church. Right from the start, churches were unique and had their own unique problems and practices.
The "great schism" is when the catholics and orthodox split up. Personally I think it was fake. They had a secret meeting and decided to split, in order to offer people a fake choice.
It was a way to delay true reformation. People wanted to leave the catholic church, because it is evil.
I was raised in the Lutheran church. This church takes the Bible seriously. No church is perfect only God is perfect.
Yes it is true that the Catholics twist words to say they do not sin in idolatry. Just like the orthodox worship idols, but they rename idols, calling them "icons". It is idolatry. Icons are idols. Just like Catholics worship statues of Mary!
They play the same game with the so-called saints. Saying they do not worship saints. They claim they pray to the saints, asking the saints and Mary to pray for them. It is not Biblical and it goes against he teachings of the Bible and Jesus. Jesus is the only mediator for humans, not Mary and not saints.
They also sin over the Eucharist. I am not sure the orthodox concept of the eucharist. but the Catholics have their mass, where they claim to sacrifice Jesus.
So every time Catholics go to church, they murder Jesus. Even though Jesus offered himself one time, for all time.
It's obvious both Catholic and Eastern Orthodox are both unorthodox, backsliding cults with pagan rituals. A read through the book of Jeremiah makes it clear what God thinks of cultists like them.
You see what they are doing. It is nice to see. Don't let them deceive you with their smooth talk and rhetoric.
They do worship Mary, saints and idols and the catholics kill Jesus every time they attend mass. Pure evil. They deceive so many.
      Peace be with you!

The Holy Trinity is The Greatest Mystery but at the same time it's very obvious for every true Christian because it's The Highest Truth Itself. The problem is that those Unitarians and even the Muslims set up their "theologies" according to their very limited time and space-based mindset so they are not able to accept The Holy Trinity. But as Father Mari Emmanuel says, we must pray for them so they will accept God in Three Persons Who Is immutable, omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient. And in Our Tradition that is the reason why we say "Amen, Amen, Amen" after the Blessing or after the Reading of The Holy Bible.

Mari Ammnanuel you are so good in teaching even a one year old baby will understand it! I must say I am a traditional Catholic and love listening to you a lot! Therefore I admit that I have very little education that is why a don’t focus on knowledge in my opinion teaching is the most valuable thing one can perform only when the teaching ads up to 2 + 2 = 4 ,! Everything I did in my life I did to the best of my ability but teaching from the Holy Book 📖 I live to others who are anointed for it! Teaching from the Holy Scriptures is very very very serious a matter of life and death one wrong word to the minds of people is like giving them poison that is why I disqualify myself from teaching every body has a different purpose in life but do it with complete truth in mind ! People should listen to different arguments it will be the only way to decide whether one goes left or right! God bless every one of good will ✝️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏

Could just read Philippians 2:5-11 where it says Jesus already existed in the form of God.
“Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross. For this reason also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

If Jesus was God, why did He say, “The Father is greater than I” in John 14:28?
    ANSWER
The phrase “the Father is greater than I” (John 14:28) was spoken by Jesus during the upper room discourse, and the greater context is the promise of the Holy Spirit to the disciples after Jesus’ resurrection. Jesus says repeatedly that He is doing the Father’s will, thereby implying that He is somehow subservient to the Father. The question then becomes how can Jesus be equal to God when by His own admission He is subservient to the will of God? The answer to this question lies within the nature of the incarnation.
During the incarnation, Jesus was temporarily “made lower than the angels” (Hebrews 2:9), which refers to Jesus’ status. The doctrine of the incarnation says that the second Person of the Trinity took on human flesh. Therefore, for all intents and purposes, Jesus was fully human and “made lower than the angels.” However, Jesus is fully divine, too. By taking on human nature, Jesus did not relinquish His divine nature-God cannot stop being God. How do we reconcile the fact that the second Person of the Trinity is fully divine yet fully human and by definition “lower than the angels”? The answer to that question can be found in Philippians 2:5-11. When the second Person of the Trinity took on human form, something amazing occurred. Christ “made himself nothing.” This phrase has generated more ink than almost any other phrase in the Bible. In essence, what it means is that Jesus voluntarily relinquished the prerogative of freely exercising His divine attributes and subjected Himself to the will of the Father while on earth.
Another thing to consider is the fact that subservience in role does not equate to subservience in essence. For example, consider an employer/employee relationship. The employer has the right to make demands of the employee, and the employee has the obligation to serve the employer. The roles clearly define a subservient relationship. However, both people are still human beings and share the same human nature. There is no difference between the two as to their essence; they stand as equals. The fact that one is an employer and the other is an employee does nothing to alter the essential equality of these two individuals as human beings. The same can be said of the members of the Trinity. All three members (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) are essentially equal; i.e., they are all divine in nature. However, in the grand plan of redemption, they play certain roles, and these roles define authority and subservience. The Father commands the Son, and the Father and the Son command the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, the fact that the Son took on a human nature and made Himself subservient to the Father in no way denies the deity of the Son, nor does it diminish His essential equality with the Father. The “greatness” spoken of in this verse, then, relates to the role, not to essence.

Unification is the best fit word. John 17:21 ““that they all may be ONE; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be ONE in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.”
‭‭Trinity creates a notion that there is God by himself and the son as well as the Holy Spirit by themselves. Take Jesus for instance. He was one person, that contained the Holy Spirit and was appointed by God in his will throughout his whole life. Before and after he came in the form of Jesus Christ. They are ONE containing UNITY between the three.

This woman who claims to be a Christian, I believe that she is not like that, because there is no need to be a theologian to understand the meaning of the Trinity. It is one of the rules and foundations of Christianity and the Bible has explained this over and over again, even children know that the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are inseparable from each other, that they are one and one essence.
