If you want to understand what the Sabbath rest actually is you can read the book of Hebrews carefully. It tells us that when we enter into faith we are resting from our works. There is a Sabbath rest that anyone can enter into but many people fail to enter into that rest because of unbelief. This is Hebrews chapter 3 and 4 for the most part.

It's okay if you want to keep the Sabbath but we are no longer under the law. The New testament makes that clear. Also, none of you are keeping the Sabbath. Every one of you violates the Sabbath every week. So I hope that you aren't putting yourself under that law. If you even turn a light switch on you have violated the Sabbath. Again, it's okay if you want to use that day for worship. Paul also went to the synagogues on Sabbath. But he also met with the other believers on the Lord's day to celebrate the fact that Jesus resurrected. Jesus resurrected on Sunday not on the Sabbath. That's why we celebrate that day because it is the focal point of our religion. If you are missing out on the whole point of our faith and not celebrating the day that Jesus was resurrected I feel sorry for you.

Throughout the Bible, we can see the importance of obeying God and keeping His commandments. Let's look at a few of those verses. In Rev. 14:12, the saints of God (His people) are defined as " those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus." And I believe that all Christians would agree that, in order to be saved, we need the Holy Spirit, right ? Well, Acts 5:32 says that the Holy Spirit is given to those who " obey God." Also , the Bible tells us that our obedience to God is necessary for salvation. Look at Heb. 5:9 ! This says that He (Jesus) became the Author of eternal salvation to all who "obey Him." And then, we can go to 1 John 3:22 and this verse tells us that , when we pray, " we receive what we ask for because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight." In addition, we can find many places in the Bible which tell us that , just like God doesn't change, neither does His law change. Now , I don't care if you choose to obey God and keep His commandments or not ; but I will tell you that, if you choose to just thumb your nose at His commandments, you are walking on very thin ice . I'm a seventh-day-adventist myself; and I recently heard the question asked, "Do you believe that keeping the Sabbath day holy is a salvation issue ?" I answered and said " If we knowingly and willingly choose to disobey any commandment of God , then it's a salvation issue !" Friends, Jesus said " If you love Me , keep My commandments (John 14:15). So, if we truly love Jesus, why wouldn't we want to show Him by obeying His law ? Our obedience is the highest form of worship that we can give to God. And, since we owe everything to Him, let's give Him all of the love that we have to give and stop following those traditions , in the Church, that go against His holy Word. Also, before I close, did you know that God's holy Sabbath day will be observed by His people for all eternity ? Yes, that's right ! After the new heavens and the new earth are created, "from one Sabbath to another, All flesh shall come to worship before Me, " says the Lord ( Isaiah 66:23). Also, read about the blessings that God will pour out on those who keep His holy Sabbath day ( Isaiah 58:13,14). I'm praying for you , dear friend, that you will choose to follow the Lord and obey all of His commandments, including that "One" that says "Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy."

There is NO Sunday Sabbath for the Church.

The Sabbath never was and never will be Sunday. Read Mark 16 9 through a lexicon and you will see that the original Greek word is sabaton which is Sabbath not Sunday. As a seventh day adventist I support worshiping on the sabbath but I can't say that Sunday worshipers will go to hell because the don't keep the sabbath. Despite the bible saying to worship on the sabbath I still think than non sda members can go to heaven. I also disagree with the fact that the sda church is a cult but I also believe that Ellen G white isn't too dependable so i'm considering on leaving the religion but i'll still continue to keep the sabbath.

There is no holy mass in the bible, it is only catholic teaching. Sabbath is not sunday but Sabbath is Saturday.
