I'm so proud of Joel.. he's come so far in his journey in sobriety. I cant even go into words how much this fucking band means to me
They have newer song Joel speaks of how it comes in waves and crushes him. I had tried to explain the depression I felt came in waves each one lasting a second longer until I was under water. Then I realized that these waves were like tsunamis of sand not water at all and the hole in my chest how can it weigh so much? No I don't know how to explain depression and the fear of smiling or being happy for a minute bringing those dark and dreadful thoughts of the mind in a cycle that hasn't changed for over 50 yrs. I know I'm not the only one who has to go through the whole process of trying to convince myself that it won't last forever and I am thankful for TAA they help me relate with music and the fact I am not able to talk with anyone about my problems makes this bands words mean so much to me every day I am above ground. These were the best of times and these were the worst of times. The only thing keeping me in my head is the first time I realized I didn't have to do anything that "they" told me I needed to do. The insanity of thinking that I couldn't think for myself was like a cloud blown away by the wind. I have a problem with manic depression but realized I didn't need to be depressed about not being who they said I should be. That they have hoops for everyone to jump thru and with the literal term a Doctor pratices medicine and the pills shots therapy hypnosis etc. was leaving me with a deeper depression of failure. I'm not healed I'm not cured but I have a better idea of what to do in the anxiety of being depressed. I am fine. Sorry I was in a very anxious moment and it helps to journal my anxiety the depression doesn't have room to visit if I remember I was going thru it a lot worse 10 years ago. To think one day I would be able to wake in the morning and not worry about the triggers of my depression and to be able to be anxious and not sure if my depression was gonna last for hours or days. Like my father used to say it's all in your head. I am sure that's true. It's a maze of connecting labryths and it is not easy to get a hold of the out once your in.

I've seen The Amity Affliction twice live and I met Joel at Warped Tour. I cannot put into words the tough times they've brought me through and how much I admire Joel as a person. I love this band more than words can say

If you play Main stage you can't go on warped for another 2 years. Atilla only does side stage so they can play every year. It's probably best Amity does side stage so they'll go every year as long as they're not on another tour.

Honestly, every song in this album is just amazing. It hits me with so many emotions well keeping me upbeat at the same time. Props to them, seriously one of the best bands out there.

I saw them at the Orlando warped tour this year. The concert was cut short because of rain, but there couldn't have been a better way to end the day than listening to these guys play Open Letter as their last song as it started to rain. Fucking beautiful. Absolutely beautiful. I would go again to see them live any day I have the chance, and again, and again.

I remember going to a show to see these guys a few years ago and it was in a little bar type venue and literally 70 people showed up. It was the most intimate and mind blowing show I have ever seen in my life.

I first listened to their newest album, "Let The Ocean Take Me" and then I was hooked to the way they executed their music. I then started listening to Chasing Ghosts, and Youngbloods and I have to say that they are now my favorite band. This band does something special with their music compared to other post-hardcore/melodic metalcore bands. This song is great though!
How have I not listened to this band before these past few months, and ive been in the metal scene for over a decade heavily.........always discovering new bands, even now, and I love it.

TAA never fucking disappoints. Every song youngbloods-LTOTM is SOLID and, they stick true to what their original message is while releasing a different-sounding album each time. The only sucky thing about them getting more attention in the USA(where I live) now is it's apparently cool to hate them now whereas last year when I discovered them ain't nobody was hatin' on 'em. Same with In Hearts/Northlane like, dafuq is wrong with people?
