This song, Pittsburgh, Don't lean on me, Give it all, My fathers son, and Forest Fire all just speak to me in ways I havent heard music before. I cried a little bit when I first really listened to give it all. I used to hate this music too, haha funny how that works.

Anonymooseity Thats how I was, I hated really any form of metal that wasnt just clean vocals, but now its most of what I listen to. I listened to Youngbloods and then a week or 2 later Chasing Ghosts came out and that album spoke to me a little bit, but LTOTM spoke to me even more. TAA is my favorite band now and has been since I listened to a few different songs on Chasing Ghosts.

Really? Sounds just like amity to me. Start with repetitive electronic riff with binary chugging in the background, then speed up the chugging for the verses with the occasional guitar run and then go into a catchy but still lazy clean vocal chorus.

Fuck...I just realized the true meaning of this song. Really, this band and beartooth are the most inspirational bands out there, partially because the lyrics have so much relevance to my life, and partially because the music is fucking amazing.

This band saved my life last year. Their music kept me alive through divorce, losing my house, rape, a suicide attempt, and more that I don't care to think of. I'm forever in debt to them. My left forearm is covered in their lyrics.

This was the very first song I heard from Amity. I remember showing my Mom this video. I remember the video was already a few months old by then. She started crying for some reason. She died from an accident less than a year later. My life crumbled thereafter. I immediately got my first and only tattoo right on my hand. It's an Amity one in remembrance of her and the love I have for my favorite band. That will never change; I will never forget what she was to me or what these guys did to help me get through the pain. Their music was a little self destructing at that point tbh but I believe I still owe a lot of my existence to TAA. Thanks guys.

This music helped me through my darkest times and now 10 years later I can say things get a lot better. Coming back and exploring it gives a lot to reflect on but I would not be the person I am without these certain bands. Trust me. Let music, movies, tv, lead you through your journey. Find peace in what makes you happy.
TAA is one of the few bands where I can actually connect with the positivity and hope-core music they put out. You can feel its real coming from them, not just a gimmick.

Hey, after watching this video I felt like there would be someone who had a similar experience and I should say that all the terrible things that happened to you were not your fault. It's all the fault of the people who hurt you. Jesus was abused by so many people too but now he is alive and wants to comfort you and show you love because he knows what it's like. He said "come to me if you are weary and have too many burdens and I will give you rest" and "everyone who calls out for me will be saved [from their pain and the things that cause their pain]"

This band have truly helped in ways no other band has for me to be honest, songs such as this one, Pittsburgh, Greens Avenue, Open Letter, Don't Lean On Me and Never Alone have truly spoken to me, I get to see this band support Of Mice & Men on Saturday and honestly, It's gonna be emotional, if you read this, thank you guys, for everything you have done for me, you have (mind the cliche) saved me from my darkest place.

My theory: A drunk man enters a cemetery where he sees a family who has lost their loved one. It reminds him of his dead sister. The man was beaten by his own father, and has all this anger. He goes back to his childhood place and burns it up, but taking the bear with him because it reminded him of his sis. The ghost of the girl followed him 'cause they loved eachother and she stood back because she probably died there..He brings the bear to her Grave as respect.

His name is Jesus Christ! I used to be depressed all the time living a very dark life, hopeless, feeling like I didn’t want to be here any longer. I didn’t have a reason to live but I always knew deep inside of me that there was a purpose in life and when I came to God, I prayed one night looking up to the sky and said “God I don’t want to be like this anymore I want to change please help me” that was my prayer.. God heard me because he knew I was broken hearted... mind you, I didn’t believe in God prior to that prayer but he was my last hope. There was nobody around that could help me and I was just feeling weighed down everyday more and more until I came to God.... see we live in a fallen creation because of sin, because of the wicked ways some evil people live but that’s not how God had intended it for us to be... when we are depressed, have anxiety, stress, and living hopeless, we are actually being tormented by demons that are around the air and yes there is a spiritual world among us which we cannot see but satan will try to keep you in chains by having all these demons torment you but we have somebody who can set us feee from all that... We don’t have to live this way anymore... Come to God and see that he is good!! What do we have to lose??.... We are all sinners and I mean everybody.. The Bible says that the wages of sin is DEATH!!! God is giving you a gist today, a gift of salvation... God will not force you to come to him because he gave us free will.. we have to make the decision to take his gift of salvation and eternal life with him in heaven... zCome to God, repent from your sins, ask God to forgive your sins, that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

So usually Amity has water in a lot of their songs, and then I see this video, and I see fire, everywhere. Even the members are on fire. Its a weird contrast, but its pretty awesome.

You Australians have such a strong metalcore, hardcore/deathcore scene right now holy shit. You guys are to "core" as Europe is to metal and meanwhile, despite having some good bands the USA/UK I've heard are more greed-centered instead of art-centered.
This aged well. Now all the really good acts and labels are from Australia.
