I like how you answered the first question by turning it into a service based answer (how you could help the company) and used a weakness (inexperience) and turned it into a strength 👍
This is my favorite question. It is being asked to check your critical thinking and decision making skills. I always advice to mention not just at work but in any crisis happened in life. You answer will determine if you are going to be independent thinker or not.
Can I just say that I absolutely love all of your videos I’ve watched so far. You have given me more insightful information than I have ever received in the past couple of years. Keep doing a great job and keep bringing more videos
Tell me how you handled a problem has been asked at least 3-4 times in my interview First time I was caught off guard and didn't have much to say. thanks for these tips and your help
Dear Marat, thank you for your educational videos and professional advice. Would you perhaps be able to do a video about interview questions related to gaps in your CV, or when you've resigned from a toxic work situation? It seems to be something that future employers latch onto, always first expecting that you as the employee did not handle the situation amicably. Advice on this, and how to approach this problem in a CV and cover letter, would be most helpful.
Hi Roné, thank you so much for your kind and motivating feedback! And thanks for suggesting a video topic! You know I have already addressed a similar issue in one of my videos about Explaining Resume Gaps: czcams.com/video/JtnaCqZxuu0/video.html Let me know if it gives you a better idea on what to say. In general it's really complicated to be completely open about leaving a toxic place or a toxic boss. Any negative input on your previous job isn't going to be perceived well. But there is no point in lying either, just focusing on the positive aspects of the job, mentioning something along the lines that the direction the company/department were taking weren't alined with your plans and that you felt it was a good time to move on.
I am really glad to hear that, Graciela! It's nice of you to stop by and to give me such kind feedback, I appreciate it. Best of luck and hope to see you around!
Every time i get very nervous and not in a position to say some things. I can I overcome my this weakness. I am great-full to you. secondly how can I improve my English speaking effective. THANKS
Can we give a real personal challenge example and use STAR technique while explaining it? There is a personal example in my life which I think I have handled it very well and have the results with me related to a rare disease , took different medical approach after doing deep dive into the problem.. Result is out of the problem which is achieved by very less number of people
I usually refrain from "personal" examples, unless it is very closely related to those skills which will be used for the position. For some manager personal examples might work well but for others not at all. And also the less personal you keep it, the less emotionally involved you are during the interview.
This a great and helpful video… In my last role, I was working independently as a freelance so how can I answer to this question. Could you please give me more ideas?
Glad it was helpful! As a freelance you must have had plenty of projects/moments when things went complicated. Think what you could replace the example in the video with!
Hey there! No, unless you plan telling a concrete situation related to it and how you handled it! I speak a little more on responses to such questions in this video: czcams.com/video/gjt9MwrgyGk/video.html Hope it helps!
