I really like the scene where Sasuke says to Kakashi : Itachi, my father, my mother, my entire clan, bring them all here to me and I'll quit right now... It such a great characterization for Sasuke, showing how much affection he still has for his family which hurts him badly...

Sasuke used his mangekyo so much in such a short amount of time that his susanoo caught up to itachiâs level (armored susanoo). Whereas itachi took a long time to get there because he rarely used it. A lot of people say sasukeâs vision went away too fast but forget to take these things into account. Glad Lindsay realized this in the post show discussion!

Some powers seem to strain you more than others. Obito uses the Kamui all the freaking time, for over a decade, yet hasn't gone blind yet. Possibly due to Hashirama cells in him but still. Itachi also didn't use his powers often. The fires of Amaterasu were almost legendary before Sasuke. Only very few people had seen them, or heard of them. After Sasuke, they became a common appearance.

apparently that Kuni sakura had was poison (at least from what I've been told by replies to my comment last reaction) makes sense since that the only way she would be able to kill Sasuke...and apparently the light novel goes into more details why she couldn't bring herself to kill Sasuke

Kakashi had a soft spot for sasuke for how similar they are like you can tell that Kakashi really loved him: they are both genius shinobi in all the possible ways and they both lost everything.
And one thing i would change about this series is having an actual fight between Sasuke and Kakashi like i'm sure that would have been easily one of the greatest fights in the show, i'm sure that if Kakashi wanted he could have killed Sasuke right there

Itachi is my favourite character because he is so cool and sacrificing but In my opinion all sasuke did was justified . Because his family was murdered due the politics of the village superiors and they used itachi as a tool to achieve their political agenda especially danzo. Realistically if anyone had the enormous power like saskue they would have definitely tried to avenge their family. # Always sasuke supporter .
Sasukes mission in killing the elders was justified. Not all the villagers that had nothing to do with it. That would mean Itachi died in vain

Itâs always extremely frustrating and you ( sasuke) are feeling like destroying their happiness and making their lives miserable just like yours.

@@mint437 Well although sasuke was wrong but his pain and anger justifies all of his actions. At least in reality a person will feel these emotions that sasuke was feeling . At that time it didnât matter if he was right or wrong. All he wanted is people to suffer in a similar way that he was suffering. Although villagers were innocent they didnât even tried to find the truth about the incident and blamed Itachi. I believe many people knew that how good of a person Itachi really was but they just believed what the village higher ups told them. This even include Kakashi, because he spent a lot of time with him. He should have been able sense that something is wrong after the tragic past of his and his dad. Rather than believing the village higher ups if anyone tried to find the truth and believed in Itachi and saying sasuke that his brother was a hero , similarly how iruka tried to consolidate naruto after telling him the truth about nine tailed fox đŠ. Things might have been different. Because unlike naruto who tried to gain respect and seek attention, sasuke only seek revenge.

3- Sasuke entrance in the kage summit (Office lol)

6 - Killer bee Vs Kisame
7 - Tobi declaring War
8 - Danzo vs Sasuke (One of the best)
9 - Sasuke Vs Kakashi (As always a sensei would always Face his student in the ninja world)
10-Naruto vs Sasuke
The story develops more , We get to know what pain meant , the Cycle of Hatred , and everything else

Not only did Sakura fail to convince Naruto by taking advantage of his feelings, knock everyone out and left them out in the open in neutral territory, attempted to trick Sasuke with the the logic he must have hidden feelings for her (because that worked out so well with Naruto /s), tries to kill him with a poisoned kunai which you find out later why that's dumb, but she couldn't even go through with it when she gets an opening because she loves him too much. And people still wonder why Sakura is hated even in Shippuden.

On top of that Naruto doesn't just show you the same flashback once they show it to you multiple times and then show you another flashback in that flashback. Which is what makes it gross. There's so many anime that don't rely on that.

At this point I really started to sympathize for sasuke, I still hated him( still do(even tho heâs good now)). When I finished shippuden I kinda got a bit mad, so many unnecessary deaths took place yet the one guy that turned evil lived.

Man, I really wish Sakura joined Sasuke here. It really would have boosted her character because she finally would have taken some agency in her life. Beyond that I think it would have done her some good to leave the village for a time; after all it worked out well for teammates.

@@oceanplanet8160 But it would be an action that she is taking for something she wants. Especially since it's actually viable for her to do. Sakura gets hate from everything some fair some not, but all of it stems from her being unable to do anything.
At least she would be able to achieve one aspect of her goals. Can't bring Sasuke back, but she can leave and support him. In one action she ends the promise with Naruto and is able to fulfill her words from when Sasuke leaves (her claim that she'd help him get revenge).
Personally i didn't like how overpowered Sasuke is at that point, he fought the 5 Kages and succeed to survive then fought Danzu just after and succeeded beating him even when he's the one who put 2 of the most powerful Uchihas to shame and caused all the fucked up stuff, and then just after he was trying to fight Kakashi and he wasn't even tired until he overused the Susanu for like the 4th time that day and it's the 1st time he used it, what the fuck, kishimoto really simps for Sasuke
Sasuke is not as overpowered as you think. If it wasn't for zetsu and karin constantly restoring his chakra, sasuke would have been out a long time ago. Mizukage would have killed sasuke if it wasn't for zetsu. Oonoki would have one shotted sasuke if it wasn't for obito.

It's that the fact that he literally got fatally wounded twice by Bee, forced to run from A and Gaara, and handed his ass by the other kage and their subordinates. And that's not looking down at him, he went in a no win situation against the Kage and managed to survive long enough for his allies to bail him out, that on its own is impressive. He still got beat though.

This episode is so... SO bad.. like, this is when the writers forgot that Kakshi knows 100 jutsu, all of different elements. He does fuck all in the way of Jutsu. There is a fanmade animation that handles this fight 1000x better, with Kakashi going all out against Sasuke and loosing.. it is so much better than this fight.

Meh writing for Sasuke, from the moment Madara revealed the truth about Itachi he started becoming soo edgy as a character, he s principle of not killing switched so fast when he fight with the samurais, like:"Yo I m irritated right now so I m going to kill you" Kishimoto trying so hard to make Sasuke looking dark, and now he is just edgy and inconsistent writed.
Yup he became a disgusting edge Lord.
Well, that was the point. His entire world just got rocked. His only goal in life was to kill Itachi, but after learning the truth about how his whole life was basically a lie, no wonder he's lost it and no longer has any sort of moral compass. Don't forget he's still a teenager. And if he wasn't already traumatized by seeing his whole clan murdered (3 times, lol) at the age of 7, he sure is traumatized now. He's not "edgy", he's hurt and filled with rage.
He always was an edge lord, it's just more pronounced since his revenge changed focus. At least now it feels less like he's trying to be cool and more like he's just fucking fed up of everyone's existence which is a huge mood. We just spent a past dozen episodes hating Danzo's guts, so we're very much on the level.
It makes perfect sense that he would get pissed off at the leaf. They manipulated and took advantage of Itachi and forced him into killing his entire family for politics.

Itachi made sure that Sasuke would live as a loner and an avenger, so of course he acts the same he did his entire life when he learns the truth about his family.
