So fun thing Karin (a few episodes ago) was seeing Naruto's chakra and talkin about it's warmth and then she suddenly sees a darkness and it sounds like she's seeing the Nine-tails but really she's seeing the resentment and hate (darkside) in Naruto himself.
One of my favorite things about anime is the little funny faces they draw on characters sometimes to express how they feel at that moment for example like at 2:19 its a little thing about anime that ive always loved. I remember as a kid I used to watch pokemon (not knowing it was an anime) and they did this thing where everytime someone did something stupid the characters would put their hands up and fall backwards i always thought that was funny.
Yeah, "Dattebayo" is like a sort of verbal quirk that might evolve through language in the form of slang. Similar to how a hick might put a country spin on some english words or how adding "..., eh?" at the end of sentences turns them into questions for anyone around to hear them for you Canadians up there xD
I found it hilarious how the dub sheepishly added "y'know" in when Naruto having a verbal tic rather than a catchphrase became plot-relevant.

@@og_szzl6627 Yeah, that is fair. Bleach had a similar issue with Gin's "I'm sorry" being changed to "Maybe next time", so many shows have encountered the problem - just usually not on the same scale :D
I do think it a shame that lots of people use 'believe it' as a reason not to watch the Naruto dub at all, there are some darn good performances in it (Might Guy, Killer B, Jiraiya, Tsunade, etcetera)

The Ed doesn't really have any spoilers when there's only a spilt second of Kushina out of context. You did the same thing with opening 9 when there was absolutely no real reason for skipping it.
Skipping opening doesn't make sense in general for me. When people watch anime as it's releasing, do they ever skip the opening? The answer is definitely no. But for some reason when people watch anime after it's finished releasing, they have to apparently skip the opening. Apparently something changes between watching a series as it's releasing and after it has finished release.

Sometimes they have spoilers in the opening or ending as a way to hype people up, but it doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Not a smart idea. If they had told B and Naruto what was really going on, ie what Tobi told them he wanted to do with the tailed beasts, the 8 tails and the 9 tails would have heard. At the very least the 8 tails would have told them what was really going on and the 9 tails might have actually said...fuck it, fuck no, hey Kit...we need to come to an agreement. That was a deliberate point by Kishimoto, again and again in Naruto. Keeping people, particularly Naruto, ignorant has not helped in any situation.

The idea with the mission wasn't smart at all, and honestly, even given Naruto's idiocy, it's a miracle it worked for so long. They just used the advantage that Naruto is extremely gullible to their advantage. No smart genin would fall for an s-rank mission as a front.
Well considering everything that happened to Naruto in his ninja career so far, plus the fact that half his official missions are B-A rank, it’s not that surprising that he’d accept that he’s been given an S-Rank mission, especially since he’s such a high priority target (cut back to Invasion of Pain)
