Kakashi stopped Sasuke's arm, thus using the 'correct' defense, like Sai did. Yamato tried blocking the blade/Chidori itself aka the 'incorrect' defense. Besides, if anyone would know the correct way of stopping a Chidori, it would be Kakashi.

Not a fair comparison. While Sasuke is using his signature move, Kakashi's sharingan is a symbol that belongs to en entire clan as Sasuke already stated; it isn't some jutsu that was created along the way. So again not a fair comparison.

@@zachhiteman6874 Naruto and Sasuke ironically are the most popular characters by far, then there's Gaara and then Itachi. Back when the manga was going on they did multiple worldwide pools and research and every volume they would put out statistics. Itachi's peak was in 2008/2009 and he is definitely up there but he's not the most popular.

I think it's a little harsh for Rob to keep bringing up how Kakashi's favorite is Sasuke and he chose to train Sasuke more then Naruto during the Chunnin exam when his decision to wasn't based on favorites. Yes Kakashi saw himself more in Sasuke as a student and kid but the MAIN reason he trained Sasuke alone during the exams was because Sasuke had the curse mark and he needed to use his Sharingan during training to make sure he didn't loose control. (remember he was the one who helped him with it after the first exam) Kakashi was literally Sasuke's Yamato (since Yamato was only useful to Naruto because of his wood style being able to restrain the nine tails.) None of them caught/mention that. So really Kakashi was doing his part/ responsibility, it just so happened that Sasuke DID need him more at the time.
Kakashi trained sasuke and gave naruto to jiraiya because
1. He knew jiraiya would be more fit to teach naruto the rasgan type of jutsu and for himself to teach sasuke his own chidori.
2. They both had sharingan.
3. Hes the last uchiha in the leaf for the next generation. He saw sasuke as obito.
But besides that, even though he spent more time with sasuke, you cant ignore his time with naruto.
Sticking up to naruto and explaining his beliefs to people who insulted him and he literally prepared for himself to die protecting naruto.
Kakashi took Sasuke under his wing because the Third Hokage requested him to take care of him. This was shown in a filler episode.

Really don't get how people don't understand Sasuke and Shikamaru's characters. There's a difference between the kind of revenge both of them wanted.
Sasuke almost looked completely consumed by this vengeance he wanted at the time when Kakashi stopped him from nearly killing Naruto back at the rooftop. It wasn't just revenge he wanted, he wanted power...and he'd do anything to achieve it.
Kakashi saw this and told Sasuke to forget about revenge. Probably should've done more and kept an eye on him, maybe even assure Sasuke that he'll have his revenge in time and that he'll even help him.
Regardless, this is the difference between Sasuke and Shikamaru's revenge. Shikamaru wasn't consumed by it and approached everything with a clear and mature mind, unlike Sasuke. In fact, I wouldn't even call what Shikamaru wanted revenge; he wanted pure justice - and he got it.

Yeah, the Leaf Village has a shady past. Besides tormenting Naruto and having the entire Uchiha clan wiped out, they're also responsible for Neji losing his father, Nagato losing his parents, and Sasori losing his parents. Also, they drove the White Fang to commit suicide. I understand they have their reasons for their actions in the past and I still rock with them, but the Leaf isn't as squeaky clean as they were originally portrayed to be.

I know Naruto their guy, but respect to Pat and Jerry for at least questioning it. Don't make no sense how Naruto raised himself...or why they kept him in the dark...or why it was OK to hate on the beloved 4th's son given his emotional stability is crucial to keeping the 9tails contained. At the very least, you'd expect Danzo would've followed suit and raised him to be a weapon like other villages. Series is dope and entertaining but I'm glad they still acknowledge holes in the writing.

I don't know if y'all heard Kakashi, but he said something along the lines of "Sasuke has been brainwashed by Madara." Madara's manipulation, as well as Orochimaru's before, alongside Itachi and Konoha's actions are the reason Sasuke is like how he is right now. It's not like he woke up one day and decided to be evil and crazy. Just keep that in mind.
Plus, Sasuke was pretty much blind in his fight with Kakashi and his clash with Naruto and was still fighting pretty evenly.
Brainwash is too strong of a word i would say its more of giving facts and then leaving you to your own conclusion. Masked man himself said that he didn't know whether sasuke would choose to follow itachi will but you can make the indra will bs. Swagkage dissection of sasuke goes more in depth.
Keep in mine itachi also fought sasuke pretty much blind and on his deathbed while sasuke been healed by karin prior be it not at his max so its not like its the first time we saw this kind of feats.
@@Assassink309 i agree, that's why i said manipulated (to an extent). I was just quoting what kakashi said. Madara just made sasuke's already existing beliefs and hatred stronger. And i was just pointing out that sasuke was becoming blind in his fight with kakashi because rt tv be hating on him/downplaying him sometimes for no reason. Lastly, itachi was much older and stronger and more experienced with the mangekyo sharingan in his final fight against sasuke, so I don't think it's fair to compare the two. Plus sasuke was healed by Karin prior to fighting danzo, he was never healed by her prior to fighting with kakashi/clashing with naruto.

And i don't think experience plays a part in blindness yes itachi had more years to hone his visual prowess but also more years to deteriote them. He died at 21 and awakened at around 13 just a litter prior to slaughtering his clan while sasuke is around 16-17 at this point. I understand your inclinations for kakashi and i support whatever you say but do give some props to a post five kage summit sasuke which was still going strong as your comment is shifted to the future hokage and its best to be impartial.

@@Assassink309 my point with itachi is that itachi had his ms for like 7-8 years before he fought sasuke while sasuke just had the base sharingan. So even if itachi was going blind and went completely blind at the very end of the fight, he still had other abilities that he had perfected, like susanoo (which he couldve activated while not even being able to see pretty much) and ametarasu, unlike sasuke who as we see in this fight is no where near the level of itachi when it comes to mastery over the ms. Yet, as inexperienced as sasuke is with the ms when compared to the likes of itachi and madara, it's still impressive, even if karin healed sasuke (though I'd argue that she didn't heal him fully as he was still obviously going blind), that sasuke was able to take on the five kage with help, defeat danzo with minimal help (same danzo who had multiple sharingans/izanagi and was much older and more experienced than sasuke) and fight kakashi/clash with naruto while nearly blind (his eyes were literally gray and were bleeding). I understand the rest of your points and agree, just thought I'd clear this one up. Btw, I'm not explaining this to you as I'm sure you understand at least most of what I'm saying and can agree to an extent, but my original comment was meant to be a reminder to rt tv, who sometimes argue senselessly and miss dialogue so they just automatically hate and downplay certain characters. They used to do this a lot with sasuke but thankfully they've grown to like and tolerate him more as they understand his character more, but they still misunderstand some things about sasuke, like how so many other naruto fans do
