I have been looking forward to this game since I played the early previews many moons ago we are going to be smashing out a full let's play on this fella I am not sure what is going to be in store for us but I'm sure we will manage to survive!
No recording schedule for release as this is a 2nd channel series however If I have spare time I will be recording and playing this game so will aim for daily but do not count on it life finds a way to mess stuff up XD

The human attacking you is the more radical Founders. Because you choose to spare that deserter in Vega and a bunch of people (Balzano) spreading false rumour about your action. The founder thought you also deserted and now want to kill you outright or refuse to help you in your mission

Your gonna be shocked when you realize an abrams can actually engage targets more than the 50 feet in front of it you see in Terminator Defiance
Blair (The deserter from the Haven mission) has given a false report that you are a traitor responsible for the fall of Haven, and you disobeyed your orders from Saxon in Vega which further dirtied your reputation. Balzano is the guy from the 3rd mission way back in Abiquiu also does not like you and has further given false reports about how you go around murdering innocent people. You will also learn later that there is some nepotism involved.
They told us that last mission :)

As I said in the video when referring to say who are you to Balzano I never interacted with that character in this campaign story wise I ignored him it makes zero sense this random person I never talked to has a grudge against me to this scale (He chose to run from Abiquiu I did not make him or even communicate with him)
If you think about what I said if I actually had no idea who he was why would I know he was a bandit warlord. I do tend to roll play my comments from the point of view of the characters I am with that playing as leading to confusion in the comments clearly.
As with Saxon ect I know why I am being attacked I just do not think it makes a lot of sense story wise you come across this man in a prior mission who instantly has issues with you for no reason bar duty. He then decides to hunt you down in the middle of a full on warzone with genocide machines trying to wipe out humanity nah I do not think that grudge is established enough to take such an action in a 3 way conflict.
However I personally think if they replaced Saxon with the hostile captain Blair from haven base his actions would make far more sense. Once discovering Alex is alive he would know he has to kill him to keep his retreat at haven base under wraps. This would leading to him attempting to actually kill you in a middle of a literal war with genocide machines to save his own skin with his relative general backing him up.
I still don't think it makes sense that they would believe Balanzo's false reports. Surely the movement could inform them what really happened there? and I'm not too impressed about General Blair going rogue on behalf of captain blair either. Founder Actual needs to remove him if he won't stop,otherwise I can see it having repercussions down the line. I can't see him believing Major Stevens if his version of what happened contradicts his own version.
The reason pastor is having a really hard time taking down the tank is that he's plasma shots are only 20mm of penitration and the legion tank has been repeatedly shown (especially in the convoy mission from the beginning of the game) that they are able to shrug off abrams shells which are 120mm penitration value. Your essentially asking him to use a hole puncher on a peice of sheet metal.
I don't know what the in-game info card shows, but IRL 120mm is the tank gun's caliber -- bore diameter. Penetration is roughly 500mm to 700mm+ RHA (rolled homogeneous steel) depending on the specific type of HEAT or APFSDS round, specific gun model, barrel length (longer barrel = higher velocity for kinetic rounds), etc.
if you would of gave him the HEMTT transport he would of switched you for the abrams and you could of taken it
that damn artillery crew, lost the base, stole the vehicles once you retook, blew up your Bradley and then barely provided support, also no one can blame you for them blowing up a tank you left behind
That's why I rushed their SPG and took them for myself, felt like a scumbag but it was worth it.
Bruh I didn't know there was a window for you to steal them.. I gotta redo the mission all over again
@@MonSterAAdict You can, it's not that easy but if you rush with transports, you can grab them before the real crews get out of the building
Artillery was great at this mission. They cleared half the base for me with Kondo scouting out their defence towers.

you may have lost the bradley and the cartel tank but Balzano and Saxon were so gracious to donate their vehicles to your cause.

A semi-useful tidbit I learned on my... 4th playthrough of the campaign, you can right click and drag to have units face a specific direction, which I think almost everyone knows, but less obvious, is that command actually works on units inside buildings. Granted they will still move to shoot at enemies if they dont have a sightline, but its still useful to have them pointed the right way initially...

Hay man your play through is one of the best on CZcams and you deserve to be number one on the top of the search for this game, so don't call your game play bad because it is the best.

Good job so far. Keep after it and don't worry about mistakes. It is always the same thing. All the Armchair Generals, that likely play the game on EASY mode, just assume they could do it better themselves on this mode. LOL! DoomKoffs.! ;)
It was a pure chaos, love it. In my playthrough I found that 2-3 infantry groups (some AT, snipers, infantry) works great at holding key positions. In the meantime you can scout and prepare tank punch. The last mission will be fun to watch.

Otherwise, I really like your aggressively methodical approach to the RTS gameplay. Plus the loot goblin shenanigans. If a game giveth loot, of course the goblins must taketh. Unless the M109 taketh away first.

While distasteful, there are valid reasons in letting Balzano and his mean leave the battlefield with the passenger Hemett. Besides not fighting him, you get a free Abrams tank. And I won't spoil it but he can become useful in the late game.
Wonder if he ever resupplies those mlra trucks, and the other supply trucks to resupply the front line troops and vics, oh and still got that chopper? Should ve able to repair with a supply truck next to it i think.
He does send the MLRS' to get reloaded. It's just that they have way too much spread and take too long to drop rounds for what he needa
Put your ATGM squad on guard mode while they guard the Ally Arty while prevent them from firing at any unit in their sight line at will. Keeping the Arty alive is very crucial in this mission bc they have unlimited ammo so they can pretty much provide fire support as long as they live so it is imperative to not draw any enemy attention toward them.

Yeah, you might want to send those Defense Troops an ammo truck to restock their weapons. Alot of your units are running low on ammo at this point.

Plasma against tanks is better... 3 shots and the legion tank is done... with normal ones is just too much.
the sherman had a railgun with a one shot cannon but you chosed the integrator tank. xD
because of this mission you realised you have too much stuff... you cant control everything and most of the time your units are just there doing nothing...
plasma is better at killing legion.
48:20 I'd be very worried, when that game throws that many good tanks your way to use... the game might now more about whats coming where you desperately might need them. 😀

you can use all your ammo on hemars and reduce casualties of your unit
Using them on mobile or light targets would probably miss (also note they are expensive to resupply)
but after you finnish the mission, you can get more supply

i have finish watching all on TxWolverines and he play so low skill and doesn't know any tactics on RTS games. it takes too long for him to finish one mission.
These games are not all too common I have not played one of these types ones for years lol :) If I was not recording this I would probably take far longer to finish missions hahaah
you played better than TxWolverines. 1 hour is not long. but for TxWolverines it takes 4 hours
