How to disguise a PC as an air purifier💀
Literally had the same thought
That's a new air purifier honey :)
Haha good one. I was thinking along the lines of a HUGE Alexa
haha spot on m8
Not loudspeaker, especially those 3 vertical RGB fans as the drivers
Geometric Future ❌
Roomba docking station ✅
yep but oddly enough i would still use it a buy it there isn't anything wrong with something being out there lol.
With a few improvements, it would be an interesting case: feet, built-in usb plugs, power supply plug build in the case and better materials.
And alloy frame, NOT plastic.
Looks like an air purifier
Copy comment
You beat me to it, I was literally about to say that!
Or trash can
Appeals to the Hepa crowd.
I agree
The fact that you were concerned about mounting a PSU on its side was hilarious like it’s something you’ve never heard of😂😂
i know right they used to hang from the top of case i mean come on like how was it concerning at all maybe he was just not sure about air flow or the cords bending at weird angles but still lol.
It looks like one of those disposable rubbish bins that you find at an IKEA store more than a PC case!
In the UK we would say that the mesh panel is spongy, thats putting it politely.
And we would call the case.... Garbage lol.
Your not wrong
Flapp’n about all over the shop!
In France, we say "it's utter merde".
That would be the word for it in Canada and the US too, he just couldn't think of it at the time.
You've heard of USB-C dongles? This case comes with a USB-C dong!
Lol 😂😂😂
💀
Bro who’s getting nervous watching it slide 😅
Not here.
Me
My god, I could feel my heart race every time he slid it. Can you imagine accidentally knocking your air purifier PC right off the table? :O
@@quantumreality215 that is why most people don't put their pc right next to them on the table i now some do but that is dumb no matter what case you have.
Hi Greg. It's actually a recycled Boom Box case. Its light weight makes it more comfortable to carry on your shoulders. The fan on the flat bottom will overheat, catch fire, and turn the case into a skyscraper like the one in the movie The Towering Inferno. Did you realize you were supposed to place a trash can liner in first? Place it on a Lazy Susan and watch it spin when the fans turn on. The manual tells you the four screw holes at the top allow you to mount a carrying handle, an extra cost option.
I think anything that's not a square box or square box with clear window, and now square box with multiple clear windows, is awesome. there's a serious lack of creativity when it comes to designing cases.
The air purifier comments are much nice than me naming it a fancy office trash can hahaha
Apple already owns that title
@@janmortensen9314 they sure do.
It's a good looking case with so many flaws. First of all, I would never, never, NEVER pay 170 dollars for such a thing. Whoever's willing to pay so much money for a case he's going for a high end PC. This case is by no means destined for that purpose. Secondly, air flow looks great. In fact, it looks alarmingly great. We're not just talking about little holes here. We're talking about rat sized holes. Anything from little animals, to bugs (all sorts of bugs) and a sh@t load of dust, could find shelter in this so called "case". Thirdly, cable management. This phrase is unknown to the good people of Geometric Future. Fourth, build quality. If I sneeze very close to this case, it would probably bend. I could never trust this case with my precious hardware in it. Other than that, I really like the looks of it. It's like a high end sub woofer. It could easily fit in the living room. I'm giving 1/10 for the effort and I would really love to see a better version of this case in the future. In the geometric future ;)
Just looked at the promo video for this case
1) The PSU needs to be oriented flat at the bottom
2) The gpu-side edge of the mobo need to be aligned as near to the plastic outer column as possible (ie. as near the outside as it will go)
I don't know? I love crazy builds and I love this one! I would first put some rubber stops on the bottom so it can't slide. Plus I would RGB the crap out of it. It would look like a care bear unicorn when I was done with it. I am absolutely sure I could sell it in an hour on any "Marketplace" UNI kids love that style of build. PERIOD! Great video Greg! Thanks
LOL
@@am_-ui7nv what? Hahahaha you don't like a Care Bear Unicorn Hybrid?
Even tho im mad this crap of a case is being sold i cant be mad with you. You seem so positive and lovable lmao
Website and manual page 09 shows power supply can be installed in flat/ regular orientation. GPU up to 350mm
2:27 He also showed in the manual where you can install the psu perpendicular to the motherboard, that would allow more than enough room for the gpu.
Hey Greg. I enjoy watching your videos. I am 39 and I have been building my own personal computers since high school. I have learned a lot from your buying experiences. Thank you for the content.
It looks like something you'd find in the Institute in Fallout 4. That kind of retro future lab machine.
Yes like something father would have...
Thumbs up for weird cases. More entertaining than the 1000th build in the Lian-Li dynamic.
It looks like a white plastic dustbin. Exactly where it should go too
i appreciate the idea. looks something you can put as decoration piece if you're looking for aesthetic. probably need a bit more polishing, adjustment fit and better build quality but the idea is there.
I'm hoping they keep working on revisions. The motherboard tray placement options are always nice and the vertical "air purifier" look/not seeing the interior of my PC actually appeals to me. Structural stability, non-slip footing, cable management and external access to ports would be huge improvements?
cable management isn't to high on my list but the rest would be good improvements.
Do you happen to have a link to that usb hub that you are using in replacing for the absence of the front panel io?
no it came with the case he didn't have to buy it.
it kinda looks ok, but yea, is not worth it's price. and as you said, it really feels cheap. awesome review as usual!
Visually quite nice ... at least as it comes accross on my monitor. Minimal desk footprint is useful ... but so impractical as far as access - no rear IO? Front panel inputs? If they work out the short comings I'd actually try one.
Honestly. With a more proper build and some cable management. I love the idea of one of those big fans at the top and bottom and then possibly intakes at the sides with a up/down facing CPU cooler. The case design and vibe is overall pretty cool imo. Just needs some polish
I still build in full size cases usually from well known companies. It is just a personal preference but I'm always looking for expansion capability.
You had me dieing with the it looks like a tail and your playing with it 😅great content
I wanted to ask about my own pc
I have a i511400f and rx6900xt
I Knows it have high bottleneck
And well since i have to upgrade both mb and cpu to upgrade
What you'll suggest to lower bottleneck and enhance my pc?
i mean there is so many options what are you looking at getting sticking with intel or moving to amd are you looking for cheap options or are you ready to go sky the limit.
@@userunknown1030 i do almost any kind of work with my pc
Normal stuff like word and etc etc to autocad and some programming stuff
But mostly gaming
Right now I don't see any serious issues that push me to change cpu and mb immediately
But i prefer a valuable deal for long term use It doesn't really matter about amd or intel I am more interested in having the best performance at a sensible price
Waiting for a low Amazon score review next time with at least a 100 reviews. Will feel a little more genuine and be a lot more fun knowing you'd really struggle to build in it.
I think it looks cool. The cables sticking out kinda suck though.
I need more of you reviewing the cheapest parts. Fans, ram, case, etc
I have the entry level mesh Montech pc case, the OG before they updated the glass panel to have hinges. What I'm getting at is, that case was $150, shipping included. It's cheap, easy to build in, and fairly sturdy. It's not hard to make a decent, yet cheap pc case. I fully believe some companies don't even try.
Geo Future, if you are reading this, that's a $49 case.
the appliances cases are being completed:
Geometric Air Purifier
Segotep Slath Coffee Maker
Silverstone Sugo Microwave
Thermaltake Tower Popcorn Machine
This might be a perfect use case for the Jiushark JF13K Diamond cooler. It normally would not fit ITX, but since you are recessed in the chassis it could hang over the IO. You get 2x120mm fans that way.
1:56 "Still not a good impression"... oh the pun. it is a great pun. unintentional puns are the best.
greg im still skeptical of vip-scdkey but im rebuilding my server this year not sure if i will stick with win server 2019 or go to 2022 or switch it to regular windows but i enjoy server as it cant auto restart on its own unless i configured my server to have auto restart disabled where microsoft cant restart my home server.....i would give that case a SUPER F
It has a kind of futuristic, corporate, deco vibe. Make for a good movie set piece or an office trying to impress.
I'm sure if you gave it a chance it could bring you joy joy feelings. Be well Greg Zalazar and have a peachy day.
A neo futuristic wastepaper bin from an episode of Startrek or something. That is what this case makes me think of. :D
Raymond going full Phil 😂😂
A laundry basket as a pc case...
Looking forward to the next video :D
The power supply is supposed to be 90 rotated as far as I can think, (point the cables toward to 3fans) a shift psu is what I think they had in mind too?
"I just don't have enough length...not super satisfied with this."
This reminds me of these knock construction bricks we bought. It was an x-wing and slave 1 and AT-AT. Well I was sure all the parts were in each set. The instructions sure weren't. Between the 3 builds we had 10K bricks to figure out how to make the 3 vehicles. The X wing was the easiest of them. The Slave 1 looked like Jaba The huts boob and the AT AT is in 5072 pieces still.
I feel like this would be in the same closet those are. Maybe draw a schematic or template and piece it out before building? Who am I kidding, I love building and tinkering but am not paying over £130 for a case and have 2 pro king 95s and a pano as back ups already that I hide from my worse half.
Fun? watching though. Like a puzzle with no rounded edges and is only a circle.
I like the aesthetic 🥰👍
The price, build quality and lack of front panel i/o ports is appalling 🙈🤦♂🤦♀🤦🙈
I like the shape of this actually. With some more premium materials, a complete redesign of the internal, and a 2-tone brush silver/colored side pane option? As is, though, there is WAY too much extra space in that case to have that much spaghetti hanging out all over. They had plenty of room, just an underpaid designer or something....
It looks like a cellular antenna that gets mounted on the huge towers!! You should paint it to look like the Cube from Portal or Halo!!
About a month ago, it was $100 on Newegg. It actually looks pretty cool but it being all plastic is kinda crazy
Funny you make a video on this brand as I was looking at another case they make, the M4 Caliburn as I thought it looked nice. Although, I'm not liking where a 360mm aio would fit on to the case so I'm hesitant
I remember one of the other big Techtubers reviewed this case before(or 1 exactly like it but another brand), but I can't find it anymore. Can someone help?
Whats the cable hanging out?
always 100 percent honest reviews from Greg, which will save you
how you going to plug hdmi and DP for that case
it resembles a sidewalk trash can my city had few years ago. Though they were painted dark green.
just started watching the video and 2 things I will note as first impression, love the case design/style... at the same time disappointed that it seems like it's as flimsy as a straw house, as in one good huff and you'll blow the case in.
This is the sort of case you'd have in your living-room.
Thanks @Greg Salazar. Interesting. Two things though:
1- In my case (see what I did there?), I like the less gamery look of it. Some of us build our PCs to be our main, do-it-all computers. And that clean aesthetics is nice.
2- When you build in one of those PC formats, you normally go with a SFX PSU. Maybe you could have shown what space was left when a SFX PSU was used in it, even if it was a black one... and then install that ATX form factor PSU for the look?
Overall though, I think you are right top say this is not a good value for the money! You can get a much better case for much less money! Those guys are competing against products like Corsair's line-up and entering the market with an unknown brand that is way off the mark with pricing and way off the mark with quality. This brand has no future.
When the Computer Engineer who used ChatGPT to get through college designs a computer case
What CPU cooler is that ?
Love the vids!
I remember having to put the stand offs in my first build way back in the late 90's
I went with the Corsair 4000D Airflow for my upcoming build. It’s my first white case.
Your almost ready to design a pc case i reckon, theres a lot of cool 3d printed cases on youtube that would be fun to see on the channel
Sound you don't want to hear in space: Sssssss! Sound you don't want to hear the first time you turn on a new computer: Bbzzzzztt!!
Paint it to look like a Companion Cube, Companion Cuboid, or whatever.
Looks like all it actually needs is just a dedicated psu bay to clean up the cables and it would be a nice setup
It looks like the love child of a mesh waste basket and a Companion Cube.
"I'm sorry WHAT?!!!" 😂😂😂 2:25
There is potential there, I think. It isn't entirely off putting in the visual department when lit up with RGB. I think it could be just a tad bit larger, use aluminum parts instead of plastic to get it sturdier, some actual feet for it to rest on, better built in's so you don't have random cables popping out (that was REALLY unappealing). Yeah, with a redesign like that it might actually be worth the higher price tag. As it stands, not really worth more than $50-$75 and even though not a good option in its current configuration.
How can this not be worth $170, with all of that (unfiltered) airflow!
Not enough RGB... XD
Just get a cheap open test bench.
@@conyo985 but that isn't as fun
Paint it like the random droids at the station Luke got R2D2 at 😂
I like variability of the mounting options for psu and mb.
Gaming air Purifier that's the Vibe I get lol. ❤❤❤❤
Was fun watching this but I am an ole H5 Flow kind of guy.. Small amount of RGB shining on matte black components.
brand and model of heatsink???
would of been easier to use it as a lampshade!
Are you sure it wasn't cardboard disguised in plastic? OMG, where's the fire extinguisher? An open air test bench is way more practical and solid than this waste of material. Always entertaining vids Greg!
I like how you tried get everything white to match, just so you cannot see almost anything in this case anyway.
Why would you buy a pure white chassis only to shove all black components inside?
@@GregSalazar DualSense
@@GregSalazar In a case that has a window and you can see, then sure, but in a white case that you cannot see anything through I wouldn't care. Not like anyone should ever buy this case anyway.
@@GregSalazaris this a wish case ?
@@concernedcitizen9208 Sold on Amazon... maybe they sourced it cheaper from wish, that comment so fits the quality...
Reminds me of one of those cheap "fashionable" trash cans you could find in dollar general or walmart.
3:14 dang Salazar we almost saw your Slytherin 😂
I like how it looks, but, it's clearly half baked. For the money, double the thickness of the material, and give it a basement to hide the cables, and full gucci RGB on those inside rails.
Oh, and also include front IO somehow, probably in the basement.
My mother always told me "If you can't say anything nice, don't build it!"
I can just hear the quality every time this thing is touched
that case looks like a dustbin from a futuristic hospital
I never liked cases where you can't turn the PSU off using its power button. Sure, that allows for more compact cases as well as cases that may have unusual form factors, but not being able to ever turn off the PSU (other than unplugging it from the wall)...
In before Levoit sues this company for copyright infringement, great video sir
I bet the airflow and temps are fantastic. It's a shame that it wasn't really thought out well.
And I thought the side panels on the Meshroom S compared to the OG Meshlicious was bad
Also Raymond’s reaction when he saw that PSU in the manual
Easy solution, NO CHONK graphics cards! I see you went with a small one, nailed it!
I legit gasped out loud when you mentioned the price 🤣
The "Edsel" of computer cases!🤣
My first thought was a Rubbermaid mini trash can you find at the dollar store. As for the looks of it 😂
I got my Corsair 4000d X ICUE for $120, and that case is phenomenal.
You should review the cooler master sneaker case 😅
Man, at a glance, it looks really cool. but just hearing you shift it around
on your desk tells everything lol.
Nice build greg jacket looks clean too good build!
My Phanteks Eclipse did cost a little bit less money and believe me, you can't play with it like you did in the beginning of the video. It's very robust and heavy.
i got a zalman p30 that's a matx case and i want to vertical mount my rtx 4060 eagle Can someone Help Me?
I imagine temps will only be average considering you can't possibly generate positive or negative pressure; you're basically just stirring the air around. There's no cable management whatsoever... just... not even Jony Ive's Apple would do form over function that much.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it looks like a household appliance / air purifier.
Is it 3D printed? Is there any metal with the case?
