Trying to insert a GPU while the case is free standing vertically sure is a great way to break it. It should be laying on it's side, then inserted and fastened first.

The inside looks quite nice. I would also like to see the build in the other case.
The only other change I would like to see are 90-degree adapters for USB 3.0 and USB C header cables. Those stand off quite a lot, and are known to be fragile as is. I don't know how much I like having to fold them over like that just to close the back panel.

I have to admit Greg that is a sweet pc gaming machine including the pc tower , it may be beefy but it will circulate the air and out through either the aio radiator and the back to be honest i bloody love it that is a kiss sweet 10/10 .
Boards like that are the future it looks clean as heck sir. You da man.
give me a mATX sized case and mb, throw in some custom length psu cables to slim down on the cable bulk and im in love.
I did the MSI project zero build in the MAG Pano. Not an Asus fan and also not sure if Asus did it first or they just took the idea off MSI, either way these builds are clean. I used a sapphire PURE 7800xt to finish it up. Turned out really nice but black might have done better. No matter you do in a white build, "all white" does not pan out. I did have to remove the red led plate from the PURE card. I still do not get why it has a red led plate in an all white gpu.

Undervolting the gpu should solve this issue

@@SkateClipsAndTips there has been melted connectors with 4090’s even when power limited.

I absolutely love these BTF boards/cases. I'm a little shocked it's took this long to get them, like why was this not done years ago?! lol
If I recall correctly, there was a company that patented the design and they only recently either resolved it or licensed it to other companies.
@@NavneetRao Odd as I recall a Modder soldering the connectors onto the rear of a board years ago for a custom one of build. I wonder if he patented that concept.

I love this and wish companies had thought of this sooner. The only downside is I love vertically mounted GPUs which would defeat the purpose of having the 12VHPWR going into the motherboard. I really hope ASUS or someone makes a riser cable that is safe for the BTF GPU. That and a water block
I will probably look into this in 2 years or so. Will see who has come up with what and if they have kept up support for it.
Gracias for the content. An air cooler may have made it look even cleaner. The hoses from the AIO take away from no cable look.
A very good option is that the connectors are on the back of the board, there will be no more problems with the distance of the cables, etc. And the case is insanely good..
I'm almost 60yrs old and this build made the little kid in me get all giddy. Ahaha I wonder what Greg's son thought of this build. Anyway, bad side is that I'm going to start budgeting for a BTF build now with that exact case. It's too bad there aren't(?) any AMD BTF mobos/GPUs. (Grrrr!) I'm an AMD guy personally. But since I want a BTF build, Intel/Nvidia it is! lol Great video as always, Greg!

That is super clean.
Not to mention how much easier it is for it to stay clean. No cables in the way to catch the dust, etc. the air flow would be even more optimum if even my a little bit.. and cleaning based on what I see there is pretty much down to a wipe down... xD
i could see side motherboard connectors taking off but not something like this, would be pretty clean especially if the normal case cutouts are close, and obviously, you could use it with a standard ATX case given it has somewhat decent cutouts. im pretty happy with my bare asrock motherboard, no "armor" or "shields", or even a m.2 cover just a simple exposed board

I've been wishing someone would do this for over ten years. So glad it's finally becoming a thing. I think almost any case would work, if you know how to use a Dremel.
It's been done before by a modder that soldered the connectors onto the rear of the board. Asus must have ripped off his idea.
This case is certainly big, I think some custom watercooling would help fill it out more.
When you do a video like this what do you do with it? Like do you have to take it all apart afterwards and send the parts back or do you just send them the computer or something? I always wonder that when I watch people make these videos and I've never bothered asking.
I like the way the cable connection is on the back of the board that is very cool.

I love your reaction to the graphics card. I just got a rtx 4080 super aorus master myself, it has basically the same cooler and thus is as big as the biggest 4090 versions and it's insanely big. I had a 2070 super windforce before and that was already quite big but the 4080 I've is twice as thick, 7 cm longer and nearly 5 cm wider. It fills my be quiet 500dx case completely.

Big fan of BTF. Does the motherboard come with an adapter for a non-BTF GPU? It's disappointing that there is no BTF power connector for the bottom slot.
Beyond that, if you're going to use an AIO why not put the CPU on the back too so the cooler's tubing can be hidden?
Very nice. Personally, I'd have had the pipes from the aio pump at the 3 o'clock . Look a bit stretched at 6
The cpu aircooler that would look good (and perform good) in this build is the 'Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Mini'

I myself got the Corsair 4000D Airflow in white for my build. I got it while it was on sale too. Normally a $109 case, I got it for $89.
I wish the industry would go this direction as a whole, although I will say I do love me some cables and beautiful cable runs

I had to rewind the video just to see when you showed the front of the motherboard cuz I thought your camera dude was making funny faces at the mirror image on it until I realized oh that's the camera not his mouth lol apparently your camera guy is more mature than I am because yeah funny faces would have been made
i think they need to angle the 3.0...looks terrifying. I'm curious to know if that pass through has a chance of melting as well. With that aside, my god that is a gorgeous/clean build! 😲😲

Heads up on that asus board i own the old version that one and mine have in the bios a option to auto install armory crate. So it will always do a force install on every widnows install turn that off asap. Then you can use a nzxt rgb/fan hub for $20 cam software is light easy to use.

Oddly this is the type of setup I was envisioning back in 2000, no wires just straight connected pieces to the MB. Asus has done amazing and very expensive things here lol.

Each of the BTF type solutions are very clean and neat looking but tend to be proprietary. Complexity to the trouble shooting process increases. If it becomes totally standardized, I might be more interested.

Very sexy build! I am fast becoming a fan of the various connectors being placed strategically on the back of the motherboard! And the supplemental PCI-e like power connector for the GPU is pretty slick! Great way to add card sag reinforcement right from the motherboard. Great video!
Nice job on the video! Not a fan of the cable-less design though. Cables can be a style element and this removes that element. So builds could end up looking a bit more generic.

Hey, I got an idea! Let's take the 4090, which pulls so much current under load that it can melt its own power connectors, and let's add MORE resistance and MORE contacts in series with the power supply! WHAT COULD GO WRONG?????

It would be cleaner with a full metal side panel. I miss seeing the circuitry on the mother board and GPU.... already.
