    I notice some senior pastor give to their son to continue the for next generation to lead the church. For my perspective should be appointed by God not by men to lead His church

      This happens all the time- when the senior pastor steps down due to some scandals, usually he will get his offspring or one of his buddies to take his place. So that the scandalous pastor can still be in control of the church, and its finances.

    Morris has a gift for separating fools from their money to enrich himself and his homies. That is why they were willfully ignorant or just lied to protect their rain maker.

    I hate to say this, and even though the son had nothing to do with the criminal activity, you have to fire the son as well. And WHY would I say that ?? Well because the family name is TOAST. You have to take baby Christians and those on the fence of becoming a Christian into account. That's why the son gets fired too. That is if you really mean business. Look, if you fire the son, it's not as if the son is going to be homeless and without food. It's no secret the Morris family is very wealthy, and I'm a free market Von Mises style capitalist, there's NOTHING wrong with having wealth {if it was obtained honestly} and I'm pretty sure the Morris family from a financial standpoint, is going to be just fine. So Robert's been "fired", and you fire the Son as well because the Morris family name is BAD for Christianity.

    Robert Morris was never saved. It's as simple as that. If you truly are saved, and you attend a church with someone like this in the pulpit, the Holy Spirit will warn you that something is wrong.
    If people were soundly saved rather than mumbling a sinner's prayer we wouldn't have these problems. People MUST have assurance of salvation. I've seen it so many times; someone wants to become a christian, for some reason (if it's not the Holy Spirit convicting of sin, it isn't genuine), they go up to the front, say a prayer and presto! everyone, including the pastor, assures them they are saved. But they have no assurance, and there's always a nagging doubt in their heart as to whether they are or not. They don't overcome sin, they don't pray (and if they do, it's always self serving; much of it boils down to trying to get something out of God for a bad motive), they never see definite answers to prayer, reading the Bible is burdensome to them. In short, they look just like the world.
    Such people are ripe pickings for false prophets.

    So many have been hurt re : 😂this situation. It is bad! But am praying for all who have been affected , family, Cindy the victim, Gateway Church and more of course . But we must forgive also , David in the Bible did far worst, but was forgiven,God can heal the broken hearted and binds up their wounds. So we must forgive too, unfortunately the Media won’t ! What would Jesus do? ( I am or was victim too).

    • @carriemccurley-th8gn
      @carriemccurley-th8gn Před 15 dny +1

      Forgiveness comes after repentance. What we are seeing here over and over by all these wolves is they are not repentant nor are they brokenhearted. They got caught. These are not even pastors and that's the first problem. They are wolves. We are warned about wolves for a reason. Wolves don't become sheep and tares don't become wheat. Forgiveness should not be confused with enabling crime.
      And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. Ephesians 5:11-12
      It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. Luke 17:2

      Yes, we must forgive. However, he committed a crime against a child and if the police had been contacted the consequences would have been prison. He would also have had to register as a sex offender and would not be allowed to work with children.HE IS A PEDOPHILE. HE USED A CHILD FOR SEXUAL GRATIFICATION.
