He did not "have an inappropriate relationship with an underage girl"...a relationship is mutual/with consent. He ABUSED an underage girl and should be held criminally responsible.
What about restoration for the victim? That is where our collective concern should also be.
Why should he spend time in jail for other victims? Isn't this one victim enough for him to be held criminally responsible???
Yes, pray for the church. At the same time, why isn't the first focus on the victim that has suffered so much? No mention of prayer for her healing?

“Inappropriate relationship with an underage girl” - there was no “relationship “ - there was a crime of child SA! He should spend time in jail even if Cindy was the only victim! I’m ex GW- I choose to pray primarily for Cindy and other possible victims. Yes, I think GW members were duped and should be given a refund if their tithes but I’m gonna focus my prayers on the SA victim(s). GW members can figure out what they should do from here.

I agree with you! I am praying for justice for Cindy, and if there are any other victims, I pray they receive the courage and strength they need to go to the right people and report it, I pray all of their voices be heard along with Cindy, and they will have justice! In the name of Jesus! Amen!

It’s time to pray. God will forgive upon repentance. Pastor Morris is finished as a Pastor. The Church cannot put up with this conduct. It’s extremely heart braking. Remember all of us have sinned and fall short. Let’s all look inward and strive to be good examples to others. We must all repent of our sins and short comings. As someone who survived rape and molestation via a family member over many years, Robert should be required to complete jail time. I always loved pastor Morris teachings, this was unexpected, I think pastor Morris is truly sorry, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God ,
Then you were received dear sister. Besides this incident, Robert Morris was always a hireling, a servant of Satan disguised as a minister of righteousness. He mightve had a couple of "good sermons" however, the vast majority of his sermons were unbiblical and some outright blasphemous.

But not all are criminals who r**ed a 12 year old child and ignored her pleas for restitution over years. I loved that church, too. For 15 years. It will be hard for revival to happen in the USA in modern times, if people don't change their approach to God's servants. People are so quick to cast stones!! They would have sentenced king David to death for killing Uriah's wife, had it happened in this era. Yet God forgave him and said he had a heart like His. If a person repented and asked for forgiveness from God, and turned their life around, why would you keep on judging them? You might end up judging someone whom God has already forgiven. It's as thou the people judging have never sinned!!!

Yes! I thought the same thing! I am praying that if there are other victims that fear will go and God give them the courage to step up and tell the truth, in the name of Jesus! Amen! I believe there are others and he thinks no one will find out about them if he steps down quickly. I do not think his Son should be behind the Pulpit either. We need people who are ordained by God to preach. Not just the son of someone who is stepping down because his sins are being exposed! I think it should not be anyone in the family! They need to pray for God to send someone else.

I know it probably isn't fair, but I believe Robert Morris should not have any control or say concerning that church or any church. Is it God ordaining the son to take over or is Robert Morris controlling who preaches there? We have enough Churches in this world, that the Pastor has been appointed by man, and not ordained by God. We have enough churches where the Pastor is in it for the money and not for souls. I don't know His Son, but hopefully, he is led by the Holy Spirit. The Word of God says in Romans 8:14, "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." KJV God's got it!
Traveling pastors staying in homes with little boys and girls shouldn’t be an issue BUT it is. They should be staying in hotels!!!

That takes alot of balls! The father should have dealt with him with the police. Hopefully he never did it again. He was young and I’m definitely not condoning it but that one wrong sin ruined him for life. I think if he wasn’t a Pastor at the time and he did that and then came to Christ it be different. I feel bad for him his whole life is ruined and his families but if he did do it again then he definitely needs to spend time in jail. I’m just wondering if people will lie. I hope not. The father should have acted years ago by prosecuting him after a good butt wipping! If he had, the perpetrator would have been put on the sex offenders list. It's inexcusable that he was a pastor and married. Calling a 12 year old a Jezebel!

We need to pray for the VICTIM(S). The people in the church should look up to God, not to Robert Morris, so why are we supposed to pray for them because they have been worshiping man? His son should not take the pulpit.
