    that was cool! Im a big fan of major 7s and it was super interesting to learn about flattening the 3 and 7 second chord to make it maj7. He does that 1 4 switch as well in the song expectation. rapidly going between Cmaj7 and Fmaj7. Also a less known track that uses major 7 brilliantly is Lansing by Vinyl Williams. please check it out!

      RicmuBeats the numbers were using like 1 and 4 are referring to the Nashville number system! So if you’re in a key of C, your 1 chord is c major. The 4 chord is also major. So the video is explaining how if you drop the normal notes for the 3 and 7 chord, you can play all major 7 chords. It helps to know the Nashville stuff.
