This is not sambal prawn, Sambal is cooked with a variety of spices, chilies, dried chillies, blended lemongrass, shallot, onions, garlic for example...and you need to toss it and add with coconut milk, tamarind water

They had to adjust the recipes which suits their Australian tastebuds and we can understand the limitations of the ingredients they had there unlike in Malaysia. Do u know how much will it cost for the dried chilies in Aussie? The belacan alone will cost about the same price of the prawns itself. Dont have to be such pain in the arse for the so called 'real nor right' recipes for the Sambal Udang. But No, She was totally turn around everything and named it Malaysian food.
