In this video i am gonna show you "How To Make Powerful Soldering Iron Using Old Transformer" and this soldering iron is very powerful that it melts the soldering wire within 10 seconds, isn't that great !!! Its very easy to make Bench Soldering Iron at home using some materials that are easily available in market.
This homemade soldering iron works on Electromagnetic induction , and this homemade soldering gun generates high heat that it melts the soldering wire within 10 seconds.
The Build quality of this Homemade Bench Soldering Iron is very good because i have used PVC pipe for making case of this Powerful Soldering Iron. For making this powerful soldering iron , i have used old transformer from DVD player and its very perfect transformer for making this powerful soldering Iron, And all the components i have used are easily available in electrical and hardware shop, and the Most Important thing is ,you need to be very careful while making this soldering gun , because this soldering gun works on 220 V AC current.

Bom trabalho..mas pode ter um pulsador-interruptor no cabo do ferro com pequeno cabo de comando ligado a relé para comandar a tensão de entrada ..
Isso poderia reduzir a segurança com relação a indução no circuito de baixa tensão, pois isso torna mais fácil que a tensão da rede possa ser induzida na ponta pela proximidade do campo magnético da rede de tensão mais alta, iria reduzir o isolamento por conta disso (acoplamento eletromagnético e capacitivo), esse do vídeo é mais isolado e é o melhor para circuitos CI extremamente sensíveis. Mesmo assim caso tivesse comando da rede AC no cabo, seria mais seguro que ferro caneta de solda, o qual tem verificar o isolamento entre os pinos e a carcaça e ponta para ver se não tem fuga com um multímetro em alta escala de Ohms antes de trabalhar com circuito sensível, os da Hikari são bons.
Ferros ruins dão choque na carcaça e destroem CIs.
Um ferro de solda padrão caso caia, além do risco de quebrar a resistência que é bem fina, tem o risco da perda do isolamento dependendo de como foi construído.

Aparentemente buen proyecto pero ese transformador no durara mucho ...se quemara irremediablemente ...sobre todo su primario....tal vez si le hubiese puesto un alambre nicron de 400 ohmios hublese sido mas duradero y el cautin hubiese quedado con buen vatiaje 40w minimo...en fin ...

Cuando prolongas la secundaria se pierde mucha potencia, por eso las pistolas de soldar tienen pegados a la salida la punta para soldar.

That is non primary ,that is secondarywinding .we re used the original primary. secondary winding only rewinded the thick wire.thankyou.

I tried make DIY solder last year and ended up burning the wire between trafo and tip, wonder why it happens 🤔
There is a mistake in the project .we usethe primary in old coil and re winding for the secondary side.for the thick gage wire .for we get high amps current.
Better way just buy elements or hole set it is cheap
