Henry Cole knows how to surround himself with talented people. Sam, Guy and Alan! Wow what a lineup!
Yes Henry does know who he wants with him but he is the film maker, it's his name on the tin and his skill is making it all work, yes he likes to act the joker most of the time but he is a serious rider, maybe not a good spannerman but then nor was Mike Hailwood ( he admitted it) without the Motorbike show we would have no biker t.v, .......Guy, Sam and Alan wouldn't be there if they didn't want to be, they've known him a long time and they all have a mutual respect.
@@kevinobrien1259 I think Henry should dial back a bit on his facetious remarks about his buddies though.
Can't stand Coles "manchild act" and his overuse of the words quintessential, homage, mmm mmm, etc he's a hard watch and a terrible presenter but he has the motorbike telly stuff, all his own, how ?HOW?
How means that you're in the minority that aren't enraptured by Henry l would say, Henry knows what he's doing and he does it well, you have to respect the fact he is clever enough to surround himself with blokes like Guy, Alan & Sam.
So nice to listen to you without being interrupted by Henry. Excellent
Skid is a proper old school, lifelong biker, he must be kind to animals or something to deserve keeping all his hair
😂
Lol...Nice one mate...wtf is the relevance I haven't a clue...but very funny mate 😂
What a lovely bloke Guy is
Skid so easy to listen to.. im signing up. Very articulate you should do more presenting ..on your own
What a lovely bloke. With taste.
Thanks for showing us you bikes Skid! - I love your articulate enthusiasm!!
thanks skid for sharing its like a breath of fresh air to see you doing your own stuff full respect
What a cracking bloke ! Luuuurve the Harley !
So nice to see he's not chopping these bikes up, but restoring them with so much care for detail.
Your bike looks amazing in the candy orange, you are an absolute legend
Thank you Skid, you're great and although I like Henry you are the one that keeps me entertained. Thank you for letting us into your collection. Keep up the great work you do. 👍
Love this man to have his own TV show! Great infront of the camera
If Guy wanted to front his own show, I think Henry would have given him a show before now.
Im the same regarding little machines, done with big miles and heavy bikes. They made me happy to ride. But getting on small machines makes me happy, a laugh, a giggle. My current step through is a Aprillia RS250.
I ride my Yamaha RX-135, 5-SPEED, Two Stroke Daily.😁😁😁
(2000 year Model)
great vid. Guy does some great stuff. Very relateable geezer too, would like to see more of this from him.
i have had a few bikes at one point not so long ago a honda 125 t 1979 vintage i would see my late mum in yeovil from southampton what an adventure like the early days again
Thanks for the tour Skid
Nice to see you on your own territory. Enjoy watching you on junk and disorderly. Great video guy 👍
Wow skid. Wrongly I assumed you only did odd jobs for Henry. How wrong was I. Loving your passion for your work. Nice tidy workshop says it all.
So chuffed for Skid when he got
his Harley on Find it fix it flog it.
Great video Skid. Love your bikes and your work - top man !
What a nice chap and what a nice video too.
Henry Cole's stepbrother who was squirreled away in the attic because his Dad was Keith Richards. ;-)
Proper old school biker is Skid cheers mate 🤘
My grandad had the same Rickman fairing on his YDS7. It was his only transport, him and my nan went everywhere on it.
The Honda's are fantastic...brecon as you get older you start to like the small bore bikes even more..I know I do...they light easy to ride and cost nothing yo run..once you accept you ain't going fast you settle down and enjoy the ride...fabulous.
I think that candy orange is a stunning colour👍🏴
You could roll in the dough if you sold your Five4 as a kit for all the thousands of used bikes out there! Very Nice, I am regretting selling my 2014 Honda CB 1100 a couple months ago. Enjoy! Eric C. in NC-USA. 🏍
Skid has made his mark.
Awesome job on the orange CB1100!!!!!
Brilliant and very surprised with your workshop I wish I had the space.
Love the top Dennis.
Thanks for sharing Skid ,great bikes .
Regards
Dave from Scotland
Guy that was a great look at what you like and what you own, some lovely bikes.
Top banana 🥳
Man after my own heart…… probably the same vintage. Likewise, a modded 1584cc FatBob for shitz’n giggles, a Varadero for yomping about on and a couple of projects in the back.
Wifey had a CB125 twin back in the nineties as first bike (and love) and I had a CD185 Benly as a hack, rekindling a lost love CD175 in the eighties ❤️ Gave the Benly to my Dad……. loved it….. something about that family of soft twins that bewitched…… no frenzy, no revs….. but solid progress and effortless.
Great video, great Guy 😎🇬🇧
guy is cool
That CB125 Twin, what a tidy little bike. What a great video.
I enjoyed that Skid, shows you in a different light from when you are on Henry's show. I too love the little Hondas had a benly just like yours but it wobbled all over the place, there was nothing wrong with it but when I sold it the new owner took the fairing off and that cured it apparently. The cb125t was a real screamer 85 mph ! Keep up the good work.
Those little Honda's like the CB and CG 125's are still being copied by the Chinese manufacturers etc, it's a bulletproof little thing for sure. I had the RS 250 and I'd love another one today, that was quick, light and it handled like a house fly. Yeah, that one makes the list of "the ones I wish I'd kept" that I think all bikers have.
Great video, always enjoy listening to Guy talk about his bikes. Love the looks of the 5/4 Honda CB1100RS.
Wonderful, thanks for a look at your bikes.
Loving the dennis the menace jersey skid ❤
Really pretty bikes. That old Sporty will be nice. Thank you
I think the CB1100RS is one of the most beautiful bikes ever made. I always think if you ask a kid to draw a bike, that is what it would look like. Understated but stunning.
That was great..really enjoyed it! Cheers, Steve
Love the Old School bike's.... Scares Sheep & Small Children 👍
I think skid is the business keep on biking bud
I have an 83 cb1100f. Love it
Great collection Guy, always good seeing you at Oakley
Great bikes
Nice to see someone that likes all bikes .
And ironheads rule
Great work well done Sir.
Brilliant skid x
Loving your work fella.
I am in an Eternal Love with my presitinely maintained Yamaha RX-135, 5-SPEED for the past 21 years!
I ride it daily.
Nothing comes closer to this 2-Stroke Jem!
Wish I still had my 100cc Hodaka that I bought new in 1969. I was 16 and rode it every day.
Good work, Skid.
Stunning looking bikes nice one Skid
Great set up! I used to courier in the midlands on CD200 as well.
Niiiiiiiiiiice one Skid, love every one of your bikes.
CB125T was my first bike! Loved it. I had to make do with a Fizzy until I was old enough to ride it because I bought it when I was 16.
Daily I ride my Yamaha RX-135, 5-SPEED, Two Stroke ♥ ( 2000 year Model)
My mates 250 superdream was no faster than my cb125t , that really pissed him off !!
@@flipflop8604yes, the 125 really had the power to weight advantage over the 250. All of this nostalgia is making me want to find another one!
@@retromechanicalengineer Go for it!
Well done Skid I really enjoyed that, I've seen you on Henry Coles programs 👍😎
What a great video! So interesting. I've only seen Guy on Henry's programs so this is a revelation. What a super fellow, and very talented too. Subscribed and Liked!
Awesome 👍
Great video - I've always wanted an Iron Head Sportster too . . .
Watched you on Henry Cole, but as a CB1100RS owner didn't realise you were responsible for the 54! May be in contact to see what can be done on the RS
My first two bikes in the 70's were Honda's SS50 CB175 maybe I'll get one again been "converted" Interesting vid.
Great collection brother
Nice one Guy! Love your work and envy the bike collection. :>)
Smashing bloke... very talented....
Hello Guy. The bikes are a credit to you. Some bikes sound like race cars. Do you have a tractor. It's just that I saw a trailer parked up.
I'm with you on the key thing, my previous bike wouldn't start, turns out my entry tag from work interfered with the anti theft device. SO DON'T PUT THOSE ON YOUR KEY RING.😁👏🇳🇱 NL, Transalp with many mods (none technologisch)
My wife and I have had 5 benlys over the years. We still have two. Hers being a 6v and 50000 miles +. And mine a 12v and 45000 miles +.
Both are now over 40 years old and are historic vehicles.
Great bikes. Both do over 70 miles to the full up. Did have a GL1000 K1, did 65000 miles and sold it on. Should have kept it as they are quite rare now.
Happy days mate 👍
Great to see you Guy,brill work
Thanks 👍
Like the 70s minamlist styling of those Hondas
Love your Dennis the menace jumper! You are the double of my great mate Spage. Steven page. He has Harleys and C15s too
Fantastic,,,
Great work from Skid as always, if you’re looking to personalise your bike go to Skid, not only is he a perfectionist he’s also a decent down to earth bloke that you can trust, of the same ilk as Henry, Sam and Allan but more intelligent.
More intelligent ?? I take it you've not seen Mr Milliards home built machines!
@@robertbagley9199 it was meant as a humorous comment Robert, I’m well aware of Mr Millyard’s work, the Vello V twin being one of the greatest home builds ever IMO.
Robert, you should not make 'jokes' like that. Obviously many people would not 'get' it. lmagine how Allen and Sam - and Guy himself, gentleman that he is, would have felt
Dennis the menace 🤭oh back in the day
I love dennis the menace and his gorgeous bikes
Great work,Skid. Great bikes. Glad you werent forced to have a cup of tea in your hand as per the schtick on Coles outpourings. Hes a bit of a knob !!
I like your Dennis the Menace jumper😀👍
I had a mate with a cb125t I used to race him in a TS 185 Suzuki which was just as fast much to his disappointment lol ☺️👍
Skid, have you done the cam chain tensioner modification yet on your 01 Harley? I have an 01 twin cam 88 and I’m thinking of going the gear driven cam route.
I agree with you, the iron head engine is a cracker. I fancy a kicker early 900 or later 1000.
You're a lovely man Guy
So are your mates Henry,Sam and Alan
Cant get enouigh of Junk and Disorderly and Shed and burried
Brilliant camaraderie amoungst all 4 of you
Just subcribed to Brit box and have been binge watching Junk and Disorderly
Only just discovered this channel. Utube has been hiding it from me
Great video, not sure about the tiddlers, but then I'm tall! That Benly in a cross wind 😳!
What year is your Iron Head Sporty? Looks great! I have a 1983 XLH that I bought brand new. Still all original except for a solo seat and I ride it regularly. Thank you!
Like his Dennis the menace jumper 😁
Nice Dennis the menace jumper.
Love the Harley.
Keep on menacing 😁
Great to see what else you we up to I always thought I'd have your finger in a bigger pie I was right well be watching guy 😁😁😎👍🏻👌
Glad you enjoyed it
Good to catch up at Oakley bike night
Yes man.
Magic.
What a proper legand you are Gut aka Skid
Happy Days! ;-)
I just think guy Alan Sam and Henry are a great bunch of old time bikers remind me of the good old days in the 70s
Must have one
With the Norton 961 being re-released, any plans for a refresh of the special styling you originally did for the previous setup?
