Shinmax - makes all entry level Woodworking Bench Jointers Craftsman Delta Grizzly Jet All of Them!

I did a bunch of digging to figure out how to fix my jointer. This video is a quick walk through of what I uncovered in the process. I was surprised to learn the history of this machine and its diversity.

Beautiful guitar work! As for the woodworking tools... Like 20-30 years ago WOOD magazine showed how almost all of the power tools were made on the same line but at the end would get different QC and paint. As for me I never bought a jointer. I either do it by hand because I have a wonderful old Stanley #4 from my father or I use my TS. With a Forrest blade the finish is like a laser has cut it.

I guess I need to look into what a Forrest blade is :)
I just started setting up an old Crafty 315.xxxx cTS. Turns out the Bosch RA1181 bench router table makes a perfect 27" wing replacement for any of the Ryobi OEM'd machines. Like, all you need is a tiny bit of filing and drilling a few holes in either the TS or table.
This jointer does a good job of making a 90 degree angle, but TBH I had rather play with the U2010B circuit than build wood projects. I just got it for building a cabinet for a Prusa MK3+.
