    4:00 these work surprisingly well and good on sennheiser for atleast trying to accomodate more head shapes. If u slide them all the way to the sides u get more clamping force on the bottom of you earcups.

    Just ordered these today. My Logitech G930's are hanging on to dear life with tape, but have proven to be the best wireless headphones I've used to date. I really have enjoyed the Logitech's but wanted to step up the game with better sound and quality. I really have taken to heart your review and others on this headset. Really excited to be immersed in these!

      Same Story here, i came from the 930´s and wasn´t let down! I tried the corsair wireless ones and also the very good rated steelseries, but both lacked in soundquality way too much for the pirce they cost. The only thing i would change is a proper ON/OFF button.

      I can’t speak for the Steelseries Arctis but I can say for over a month of usage, the mic quality and sound is fantastic. They are bulky, but I do not plan to wear these in public. I do like the Bluetooth function as well. Only downside is that you lose connection to the dongle a room away. My Logitech’s range was superior but that’s my only gripe!

    I've been using these for over a year now and they're great. I use them for Bluetooth headset for my phone and for my PC via dongle. Best feature is the sound, they really sound accurate and pleasant. Range with dongle is good too when I'm moving inside my apartment. I like the option of turning microphone to upward position that mutes it. I use the feature to mute my mic all the time on Teams meetings.

    Why?

    • @apairon2
      @apairon2 Před 3 lety +1

      They said it was due to the micro usb having the 2 prongs for clamping the connector into its port making it harder to come out while charging. Usb C could fall out while you are using the headset while charging it. They went with the older cable to avoid this problem and i think it was tje right call

    • @KC-bg1th
      @KC-bg1th Před 3 lety +4

      @@apairon2
      What you just said is referred to as 'marketing'. You sell cons as positives, and it's business/logistics 101:
      If the manufactures cost per unit is $50 with USB-C, and $49 with micro-USB, producing 50,000 units with micro-USB will save you $150,000. That $150,000 saved can be put towards making an additional 3060 units, which when marked up to $280 USD results in a gross of $856,800.
      If a manufacture thinks that micro-usb will prevent people from buying the headset, they will switch to USB-C. In this case, USB-C is not a make-or-break deal for most of their target market.

    How is Beyerdynamic MMX 300 (2nd Generation) sound quality compared to these? I know they're wired and this is wireless, but how are they compared in other aspects? :S from what i heard, MMX in more powerful?

    • @grantmiller9004
      @grantmiller9004 Před 4 lety

      I have MMX 300 MK2's, great headphones and the microphone quality is really solid. I'd love to see a wireless option from Beyerdynamic that doesn't cost $999 AUD. I'm tempted to try these but I've also wasted a lot of money on wireless "gaming" headphones (A50's, Arctis 7's, Logitech etc etc). My MMX 300's have been the first set of headphones that I have been really impressed with. No gimmicky BS, just a great quality audio experience (Dolby Atmos makes them really pop in game).
      For comparison the frequency response range on the MMX is 5-35000 Hz/microphone 30-18000Hz vs GSP 10-23000 Hz/microphone 10-7300 Hz. A wired set of headphones will generally be the better choice, but the biggest downside at times can be the cable :/
