  • I finally have all 3 Plusrite colored metal halide lamps! This was definitely a mission I needed to accomplish, and I finally did it!!!

    Love the BDX markings. The start up is at 8:34 I also love the sound of the ballast. At 10:03 the arc tube transitions into blue. But it's not until 10:40 do you start to see that deep blue. What an amazing bulb!

    Great, im using 400w standard mh lamp as night lamp, powered on by ccfl driver from 3d printer. Makes nice greenish blue color, not too bright becouse im giving it about 15 watts, cant even warm up.

    If anyone is reading this comment can you please reply if you know the answer. Say if I bought a 250W High pressure sodium light fixture would I be able to put a Plusrite Probe Start Metal Halide bulb in it?

    5000hrs thats not much is it because the indium iodide halide salts dont last as long as a standard metal halide
