I think you should do a how to-Artist because I've just bought her, and I dont enjoy her because I don't understand her power. I also like running corrupt, infectious fright, friends till the end/bbq and dead man's switch, which I think makes him atleast the best A tier killer in my opinion.
Fun fact: I couldn't figure oni out. I had only landed a couple demon strikes while playing dailies, mostly by accident. Then I played Chucky on the PTB and had an epiphany about Oni. The next day I played a game as Oni on the normal servers and immediately got a 3k and landed a bunch of demon strikes.
Good to know bc I hate oni, so I'm deff not buying chucky
I play a decent amount of oni and Chucky, I don’t flick, but people don’t realise you don’t need to hold w after it starts. If you only hold a/d, you turn waaaaay faster than aw/ad.
@@StretchySpaghettichucky is actually much easier and better to use than Oni and the difference is heavily noticeable

Nice video! One thing I have learned at 6:16 is you can't actually see Chucky's footprints when you can't see over the wall (basically, if you can see a normal sized killer, you can see Chucky's footprints), so mindgames could still be a thing

So another good counter to Chucky I found out is that he can't kick pallets in Hidey-Ho Mode and he can't scamper while you use Any Means Necessary. So you can false pick up and wait out his power on a loop, then treat him as an M1.
Chucky can still kick pallets,button changes to left bumper stick for controller

Thank you, as someone who put a lot of time into dbd as a survivor but never as a killer helps out alot, I played as chucky yesterday since I recently downloaded it again and bought him but never playing killer once until yesterday was so fun as chucky, so getting these tips and using them when I play lol i love running around as my favorite horror icon and slicing and dicing 😂
Batteries included would be pretty strong in endgame which is why it deactivates after all the gens are done
would def reccomend floods of rage on chucky, being able to see auras after someone gets unhooked and slice and dice from a long distance helps spread pressure
Chuckys teachables are so good. I equipped friends till the end on every killer i have
One of the best perks I found is scourge hook, floods of rage. It gives you map wide info or ways to prock hideo ho mode to sneak up on survivors who are not in amazing spots or not expecting you.

Hi Kyto, Batteries Included no longer works in the endgame, it completely deactivates last I had heard. I believe they mentioned tweaking its effect to make it useable in the end game at some point in time, but as of right now it does not work in end game!

Honestly I agree with the Japs :) I wouldn't say low tier tho. High mid probably. But defo not right after the top 3 like this content creator claims.
Quick disclaimer: I'm a 2016 veteran with 8k hours. My Chucky is P50, suffice to say i've played em quiet a bit.
At high MMR Chucky gets genrushed nonstop because of his lack of map pressure, he barely gets time to get kills. 4-5 mins average match time. Even when you down people every 40secs like a pro... you can't get a kill before they finish all gens without hard tunneling. His chase power is quiet strong, Its just that gens fly way too fast, which makes ppl resort to unfun tactics. That or stack gen regresssion, which is also quiet unfun imo.
The Chuckys I verse as a solo surv also rarely manage to get more than 2k after sweating hard to keep up with gens.
1:54 I don't think killers' powers really do work like that-- generally they don't automatically attack when they hit a survivor. Sure, Billy and Demo do that, but that's just because they're forced to stop whenever they hit an object with collision-survivors included. Correct my if I'm wrong, but if you don't let go of the button with Oni, Blight, or even basic attacks, it won't swing, and even if you run into a survivor, you'll slide off them

...yep, when hidey-ho mode is about to end, you just hold the button to do a slice and dice and boom, the power ends but you gain some cool distance.

In regards to Mark Hamill voicing the character, that was on the reboot. And that happened because the rights are split with MGM holding the rights to the "Child's Play" title while Universal holds everything else (or some legal shit like that)

Mark Hammond only voiced Chucky in the 2019 remake. Which was out of Brad and Don's control.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the footsteps only appear in a situation where a survivor can see his hitbox which is slightly larger than him. So at 6:16 they shouldn't see your footsteps since their line of sight is completely broken.

There was one thing that you said that was incorrect about one of chuckys perks. Batteries Included turns off once all the gens are powered so it’s useless in end game and barely useful in mid game too. Unfortunately they nerfed it in the PTB so now it’s a super weak perk
