  • Former NBA player Chandler Parsons join Colin Cowherd to discuss the hottest topics across the league and some key moments during his nine-year career. Parsons breaks down why he is not sold on the Miami Heat as title contenders despite being the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference Finals. He also breaks down James Harden's impact with the Philadelphia 76ers and LeBron James-Russell Westbrook fit with the Los Angeles Lakers. He then explains what stands out about Ja Morant's game and athleticism, along with why he believes 'Luka Dončić is the best player in the NBA.' The former pro hooper then shares a story regarding previous concerns with Zion Williamson, along with his favorite Kobe Bryant moment.

LeBron, Bird, and Shaq were all known to skip practice. Doesn't mean Bron doesn't work hard or doesn't care about getting better.
Many nba teams practice sparingly during the season due to their travel schedules and game recovery.

Take away 5-10 inches of Ja's vertical, can he still do the things he does? If your playing style relies on pure athleticism, you have more problems once this talent isnt there anymore.

This year, the Heat could win. They’re the only Eastern conference team who’s been building on their structure the whole season, and they are tight, plus they have quality guys. Plus the Western Conference does not have dominating guys. This could be one of the years where a real team team wins it, like the Pistons with Chauncey, or the Seattle Supersonics.

This man is single-handedly responsible for two of the worst contracts in NBA history. First the 3 year Mavericks contract for almost 50 million (Cuban overpaid for him to get one on the Houston owner). And then the audacity for Memphis to pay him a 4 year 95 million contract after all the injuries he had sustain while playing for the Mavericks. Sometimes it makes me wonder if these NBA owners are running money laundering schemes..

The Nets are loaded with talent and are a .500 team and the eighth seed in the East. Curry can’t win a game without Green, despite playing alongside a healthy Allstar “starter” in Wiggins. Luka is absolutely carrying the Mavs without anything close to an Allstar caliber player on his team. Of course he’s better than those two right now. He’s averaging 28/9/9 while being the most double teamed player in the league. I think Jokic, Luka, Embiid, and Giannis are the four best players right now. You could make argument for any of those four, but Durant, and especially Curry are not in the discussion.

@@shammycat3538 cant be the best player if your play style never gets you deep in the playoffs or winning a championship. And it doesn't matter how young he is players should be rated on being the best not the best potential. If all we do is rate players off stats Westbrook would be the best ever of this generation. So stop looking at just the scoring but actually look at the game. And even if you go by head to head he's not the best offensive player in the league and don't even get me started on defense.

He left out the truth. Bill Polian asked both Leaf and Manning the same question. The question was “ If we pick you with the first pick what will be the first thing you do ?”
Leaf said “ I’m getting my boys together and taking a trip to Vegas “
Manning said “ I’m getting on the first flight to Indy to start learning the playbook “
Polian said “ we knew RIGHT THEN who the clear pick was “
Fact ! I’ve heard those words from Bill Polian mouth.

Cowherd just hit the nail on the head. "Harden's not a practice guy, Drexler wasn't into practice, Charles and AI weren't either..." What do all those guys share in common? They were all losers. Drexler only won after joining Hakeem. Jordan was notorious for practice, that's why he's a winner.
