I've seen that happen many times with buzzer beaters. I don't know if the bedlam that takes place makes it hard for the person operating the graphics to adjust the score properly. I've seen the score added to the wrong team and I've seen the score show as final without including the buzzer beating score.

Nothing compares to NHL playoff goals. Nothing. Every single fan including ushers are screaming. It’s euphoric.

I was in downtown Bloomington at a McDonald's with my high school Jazz band after a festival there, when all hell broke loose. "WE BEAT KENTUCKY! HOLY -----!" rang throughout the streets of Bloomington. Cars stopped in the middle of the street. People flooded the streets from the surrounding bars. Truly one of those great sports fan moments.

I've been to countless Bruins, Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots games. Even a few at old Yankee Stadium and Camden Yards Baltimore. The loudest crowd I've ever heard was 2003 ALDS. Game 3 walk off by Trot Nixon at Fenway Park vs Oakland Athletics. The second it went over the wall was deafening. Fenway was shaking. Videos of that moment don't do it justice.

The two loudest crowd reactions I’ve been a part of were the beast quake, Marshawn Lynch run, and the Richard Sherman “tip” to beat the niners in the NFC championship. I’m lucky to have been at both of those iconic games. I was also at the Edgar game 4 alds grand slam game as a kid. I remember that being loud af too.
