Located about 12 miles from midtown Manhattan Englewood is ideal place to live if you need to commute to NYC.
There is no train to the NYC form Englewood, in order to get to the city you will have to take the bus to port authority in mid-town Manhattan.
The commute time is about 35 min- one hour depends on the time of the day.
If you commute by car it should take you around 30 Minutes also depends on the time of the day.
Englewood is also located 22 miles away from the Newark international airport and the commute should about 30 minutes.

In Englewood there are 16 parks parks Here are some the bests:
MacKay Park -located on North Van Brunt Street, includes an ice hockey rink, a pool, a walking path, and athletic fields.
Flat Rock Brook Nature Center- The center, established in 1973, is a 150-acre preserve and education center that includes 3.6 miles (5.8 km) of walking trails and several gardens including the newly renovated Butterfly Garden.
Downtown area and Food Scene -Done
Englewood has the one of the best downtowns areas in the whole of Bergen county.
Many Bergen County residence comes over to hang out in Englewood downtown area.
The Downtown area is located on W Palisade Ave between Tenafly Rd and Engle Street where you can find everything you need there:
Supermarkets, Clothing shops, Restaurants, Bars, Bakeries and ice cream shops.
There are so many places that I love and ill share some my favorites:
Sofia - Italian steakhouse with a basement cigar lounge offering elevated plates & creative cocktails, you should definitely try the branzino there.
Rita’s Ice cream - an amazing Real Italian ice cream place.
Baltazar bakery- French-inspired bakery offering baguettes, croissants & fruit tarts
also you should check Lefkes Greek style restaurant that consider the best place to go out in Bergen County specially on Sat night.
In the Englewood there is also the Englewood hospital is ranked the 7th best in the whole state of NJ and 16th best in the whole NY metropolitan area.
Big retail stores
Now let’s talk about big buck stores,
There are no big buck stores in Tenafly, however there plenty of them in just a short ride of less than 15 minutes.
Target, Whole foods, Home Depot, Ikea and many more.
There are 3 great malls as well:
America Dream Mall, Riverside mall, Garden State Plaza mall and the Paramus outlet.
