Great review man. I was going to get one for mechanical advantage on limb walks, but after seeing how it is with 11.5mm rope, I'm definitely going to pass on it. I think the CT roll n lock will be what I get instead.
I will say it does work with the larger rope however it works really well with somewhat smaller rope and yet with my Yale calamine it’s pretty smooth in the configuration I used with it and it worked well with tensioning up my half inch rigging line however I would say if you ever run into someone with one test it out it’s still a really great piece of hardware to have in the bag.
I don't think you can go wrong with either also the CRIC does work with 1/2 rope it just works better with the smaller rope but I love mine and I thought about getting cmc too and the CE sparrow but I have had so much gear I buy it and rarely use and end of selling it or giving it away...lol however I hope that with whatever you choose it helps you be more proficient in climbing:)

I want to know where you got one of those much less two. They look like an amazing device.
They are hard to come by since production has had some hiccups, however the few that are out are a bit pricey if there is no wait.

Im thinking about ordering a cmc capto rope grab and pully inobe and its looks to be a lot easier
