    Hi Pranab
    There is another school of thought where instead of calories deficit people talk about containing insulin spikes. And Fat such as ghee or any other saturated fat that remains solid at room temperature doesn’t raise insulin.
    Do look at vlogs from dr Berg, dr Jamnadas
    The question how eating more fat reduces fat can be answered as it contains Insulin the most
    Yes But I agree eating too much Fat does-not look logical

    • @Matt_win
      @Matt_win Před 2 měsíci +1

      No matter what its always about calorie deficit. Just keep it simple. Ghee is good when taken in moderation, its don't have magical fat burning capabilities, its simply a healthy source of fat

    • @ujjwalshukla7741
      @ujjwalshukla7741 Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@Matt_win I agree nothing special about ghee. All saturated fat or even other fat are the same.
      And none have fat burning capabilities
      They indirectly reduces the amount of fat body would store by containing insulin spikes
      Just keeping calorie in/out in consideration is not correct
      Eating same amount of calories with carbohydrates and with protein or with fat would not have same impact on weight loss and gain
      Over all it is good to take your calories from all macros in proportional manner
      My point here is it is just not about calories in or out
      Our body is lot more complex than a mechanical tool that consumes oil and generates energy

    • @tejaswinis6497
      @tejaswinis6497 Před 2 měsíci

      Not only ghee any oil including palm oil, palmolein oil reduces insulin spikes. That's very basic. When you combine carbs with fat absorption slows down right. It does not make it a good fat
      See Harvard medical school nutrition, CDC, who etc . Saturated fats should contribute only 10 percent of the diet .

    They're kind not wrong though, dietary fat actually stops lipogenesis in the body, basically the fat in body doesn't come from eating more fats or oils, it comes from eating more carbs, you need to understand biochemistry for that, but yeah if you eat e.g 500 calories of ghee vs 500 calories of bread, the ghee will help reduce your body from making more fats (negative feedback mechanism) vs bread will exaggerated the lipogenesis process. The keto diet is based on same concept.

    In controlled environment where ghee and oil are the only independent variable and health,immunity, activity remains the same then ghee being fat burner is false.
    But we don't live in a controlled environment and If you look at it holistically ... Ghee is better for gut health,easily digestible and boast the immune system which leads to more energy more activity and more fat loss when compared with vegetable oil.
    So, inference that eating ghee leads to fats loss maybe true in Indian context.

    The process of weight loss involves more than just a calorie deficit; it also encompasses metabolism, which can be influenced by certain foods. Pranav kind read about Keto Diet. Initially developed to treat epilepsy, it has since gained popularity as a weight loss program. The keto diet is characterized by high fat and low carb intake, which encourages the body to adapt to burning fat for fuel, thus aiding in weight loss. While claiming that only ghee can achieve this may be a bit exaggerated, it's undeniable that the keto diet can be effective in shedding pounds.
