The over hate comes from them having the exact same characters. We are tired of seeing a shy main character, the edgy character who does care but does everything to show they don’t, and I am sick of having motherly characters that have a hidden “badass” mode that can only be triggered when they hear “toots” or “sweetie”… it only worked ONCE and we are sick of seeing it. Who am I talking about - Lola Bunny (the original), JoJo from Horton Hears a Who, and Granny from The Lorax - that’s all we needed. It’s time to stop the same characters from breeding into every single show. I can name 10 shows with the exact same characters and I guarantee if I read you a single script you couldn’t tell who was who because of how similar they all are. STOP. It’s was cool years and years and YEARS AGO. Let it die already.
