Nah, you don't understand the Latinamerican spanish speaking internet comunity hated it. As someone that is part of that comunity I don't know whose idea that after all the backlash and memes we did they still publish the series. Like the hate we have to this seriees was Kendrick Lamar to Drake levels.
I think the show is ok, but my issue is the fact that it tries to be too much like Loud House, a show that’s also about a big family and the hijinks and chaos that follow.
As a Latina with many different colored cousins and siblings the characters aren’t badly designed. We got the white kids, the morenitos and the in betweens
I actually watched the first episode and it's an interesting concept and quirk for a character to have difficulty learning a second language. I think during the title card, Tater mispronounced a spanish word in the title card and I think her mom corrected it. However showing incorrect pronunciation in the intro song is pretty weird as it's usually the first impression people have of the show. But yeah the VA just dug that shows grave and just shows that some people need to stay off social media.
