PRESIDENTIAL VISIT! German Air Force A350CJ landing in Ottawa (YOW) / CYOW)

Welcome to Canada President Frank-Walter Steinmeier of Germany 🇨🇦 🇨🇦
This visit from President Steinmeier builds from last years visit when Chancellor's Olaf visited Canada. President Steinmeier will be visiting Ottawa, Vancouver, Yellowknife and the small town of Tuktoyaktuk in the North West Territories.
While in Ottawa, President Steinmeier met with Prime Minister Trudeau to discuss advancing Canada-Germany relations. They also discussed Ukraine, CETA, and Volkswagen's first electric car factory in Canada. The 2 leaders also discussed the potential of advancing deeper cooperation in the arctic for scientific research.
President Steinmeier flew direct from Berlin on-board the German Air Force's newest VIP transporter; the Airbus A350-900! The German Air Force operates 3 A350-900's that will be replacing their aging A340 fleet. These A350-900's are designated as ACJ's or Airbus Corporate Jets (A350CJ).
This is Ottawa's first ever scheduled visit of an A350! Considering it is also an A350CJ, that makes the visit even more special! The German Air Force already flew their A350 a few times to Canada.
