What exhaust did he have on it? Just found out my corsa axel back got pushed back till december and am looking at just throwing the headers on with some random mufflers to hold me over till they eventually ship.

They work great but only last about a year, I've had 2 sets. I now use a Milwaukee headlight, so far so good
u gotta do a before and after installing them so we can hear the difference

Hey I have a 2014 2ss V8 with a stick it is interesting I have the Vera Ram Air for that year and model 14 and 15 are same setup Easter vararam air intake for sale
I bought some speed engineering headers for my Camaro. First set of headers I’ve ever had. At first they were ok for the price but personally on my Camaro they sat up against my frame. Made the car rattle and vibrate like crazy inside got annoying pretty quick. Ended up upgrading to some Texas speed headers and well I had no problem with them. I have plenty of space between the headers and my frame on both driver and passenger (where it was laying) it was sad that they didn’t work for me bc I think the price is unbeatable. And the quality isn’t all that bad. But Texas speed makes a hell of a product so the extra money is definitely worth for the Texas speed
I noticed the check engine light wasn't on after installing the headers..always thought it would be on after installing
It doesn't come on immediately

Kooks stainless headers with ARP studs 12 point nuts kooks performance cats will need a tune check engine will come on in time
Did you need to tune the car after getting headers?
Only if you want to optimize the power gains and want to not have a check engine light... But it doesn't HAVE to be tuned

Thanks! He hasn't had it tuned yet so the check engine light is on. It's definitely recommended
@@PeterCastle2A my bud has the same car ('14 SS) and he wants to put on the same kooks LT headers but I told him he might need a tune to get the maximum output from those headers and disable the CEL

The car is an automatic so it’s a L99
