- Welcome to The Fly Shop Tour!
In September of 2022, we set across the Rocky Mountains on a 2500 Mile Road Trip visiting & fishing with local Fly Shops. Our Mission? To highlight small businesses that drive the sport we love: Fly Fishing! Along the way, we got a chance to host meetups in every state - all with the goal to raise money for local conservation organizations & meet some of our fans.
Follow us as we tell the story of 12 unique fly shops, fish the waters surrounding their area, and make our way throughout the Rocky Mountains.

Nice hat Joseph! Go Dawgs! Back to back
That Sage van is relic! Also, the first line of defense in a front end collision is the driver's legs
RIP Fins and Feathers, hopefully Yellow Dog will continue what Fins and Feathers started.
Short fin grayling , nice. Was by Fins and Feathers yesterday aka Yellowdog looks like things are still the same they were stocking there shelves with new stuff that’s always good to see . Time will tell . Thanks for sharing.
Too much fun!
Platform truck?..LOL...HOLY FUC$IN Millenial...😂😂...It's a ROLLBACK son.
Great episode!! Thanks for letting us tag along!
Fins and Feathers...is one of, if not the best Fly Shop in North America
Another great episode, really enjoying this
Been to all the shops you guys stopped at. Dudes were always helpful. Love your videos. Keep it up!
Definitely have caught a lot of short fin grayling in that river 😅 there is so many cool fly shops in southwest Montana
Hope to visit these shops one day. Cheers boys, I’m drinking one for the Sage Van tonight 🍻hopefully she’s still good !
Was hoping to see some missoula action at the grizzly hackle, never the less love the content!
Fins & Feathers has been bought out by Yellow Dog. Changes by Yellow Dog has improved the tying selection. I believe the same folks working there and I heard Toby is still the outfitter.
My run is still solid with having visited all the shops you've been to so far! Fins & Feathers is a great shop for sure. Good luck with the van, should be an easy fix for a Volkswagen mechanic :)
Great video …. Though… not sure I like or agree with the way the guide from fin and feathers was releasing the fish . Grasping them and sliding the fish into the water . It’s not good on fish to remove so much slime from their body .
😅short finned grayling 😅👍🏻
Go Dawgs!
It couldn’t get better in my opinion. I’m always stranded here
I would love to see a central pa fly shop tour and the native brook trout fishing up there is amazing and you can find wild browns a recommend tco fly shop
