- Welcome to The Fly Shop Tour!
In September of 2022, we set across the Rocky Mountains on a 2500 Mile Road Trip visiting & fishing with local Fly Shops. Our Mission? To highlight small businesses that drive the sport we love: Fly Fishing! Along the way, we got a chance to host meetups in every state - all with the goal to raise money for local conservation organizations & meet some of our fans.
Follow us as we tell the story of 12 unique fly shops, fish the waters surrounding their area, and make our way throughout the Rocky Mountains.

Please do an Appalachia tour! Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
Can hear the bluegrass already
Agreed!!!! Virginia doesn’t get enough attention!!!!
Agreed. Would be cool to see the Virginia Creeper Fly Shop and Mountain Sports LTD get some love.
Agree with Henry's Fork dude in that Fly Shops are 200% more friendly that 20 years ago thankfully
Welcome to Silver Creek. If you ever feel like a great flyfisherman, go there and humble yourself haha
It was tough for sure
Landen is the best!! 👏🏽👏🏽
Love this series. Sat here on the other side of the pond it’s a privilege to see such incredible scenery and to see how your fly fishing community comes together. Those shops are incredible too!
Glad you enjoy it!
Wills is Priceless 😂😂😂
This series has been killer! Have enjoyed every episode.
Glad you’re enjoying it
Next time you come through if you swing by Star just outside of Boise Ill put yall on some sweet holes where some monster browns live! love your work guys keep it up!
I got onto Silver Creek when the brown drake hatch was going on. The fishing was fantastic but I got charged twice by mama Moose. Beware of the moose there.
We would definitely like to avoid moose charging us.
Great video! Island park is home to me! Loved seeing wood road in this! My brother lives just across the river from where you were fishing in pine haven. He is a guide for trouthunter.I live in st.anthony just below island park. My grandfather is Rene harrop. So I was born on the Henry’s fork. Would love to show you some great water next time your in town!
Yeah, UTAH!!
Wish I could catch you guys when you come through, but I'll be on the road I'm sure!
Love the channel!
Enjoyed that - cheers boys! Keep em coming
Great series. Love this road trip. Come to Alberta Canada some time guys
you guys needed a guide for sure
Best series yet. Looking forward to Utah for sure. Just wish they were a bit longer. More in shop focus.
Lol
I hope that this project will spread around the world then save the fly shop
I look forward to these videos!
much enjoyed!
I love that pronunciation of Payette! You boys gotta get back here for a trip on the SF Boise
great series, nice to see the little guy shops. watching from nz
Glad you like it! Maybe we throw the van on a boat and take the series to NZ??
You should come to our shop in WV and chase Musky !!!
Throwing thousands of casts?? We're in.
Sick!
Do a Midwest tour
That would be epic!
Catching fish in Idaho may be the easiest endeavor ever. Idk what y'all fishing with lol. Ever heard of a wooly bugger 😅😅😅
So bummed I missed when you guys were in Boise….at PAY-ette brewing. Lol
That intro is too good
I happened to be at Silver Creek for the brown drake hatch. Scouted out a great spot. 15 minutes before the hatch started, 3 moose came right through my spot and I had to concede it to them.
Sometimes it doesn't matter if you get to the spot first...
Супер!👍🤘
Check out Lost River Outfitters and Picabo Angler next time you’re in Idaho!
Got to meet some folks at the event who said the same! We will definitely be back.
Rad!
Hopefully someone corrected how you pronounced Payette. Welcome to Idaho.
Boise strong! Just don’t name the rivers…
Landen is definitely not from Idaho. Looks Californian, you can see it in his eyes.
Comparing Ketchum to Aspen is not flattering to Ketchum.
