Besides the cardboard part it was a cool tutorial
Lizardspiral, Thanks for the feedback, the cardboard keeps metal from damaging the soft jack pads. _RandomFix
RANDOMFIX question...it looked like the jack stand was on the end of the bmw jack point, not center. Is that right? Cool video
Joe, yes I didn't center the jack stands because that will destroy the jackpad. There is a specific adapter for BMW and mini however I use cardboard to prevent the jack stands from damaging the jackpad on the button of the BMW.

I have a question regarding the rear lift. You are lifting from the beam, not differential. Is the beam sturdy enough? What if it bends?
Isn’t that the beam/suspension? It can damage the car
Vishal Diddi good question i want to know that too
@@vishaldiddi9633 No, you should be okay lifting from the beam. however, i would personally lift the vehicle up from the differential. i have been doing it for many years and i have never have had an issue. But, never jack from the differential cover. jack up from the actual differential. look up on google: bmw e60 jack points". it should give you a clear description of what i'm talking about.
Enver Mustafoski my F30 service manual states the same. lift from the flat portion of the differential. on the F30 it's black and the cover is silver. so go past the silver onto the flat part of the black.
@@Envermustafoski I agree with you, the rear differential is the advised BMW lifting point for the rear. You must avoid the coiling fins by pushing the jack slightly forward.
Aluminum is metal. So is mercury.
Thanks for the feedback
Very dangerous….
Please explain?
