What you need to know about pumps and converter hubs

In the latest video from the Transtar Garage Studio, Dave Hritsko, technical parts specialist for Transtar, talks pumps and converter hubs.
"Anybody who's been doing transmissions for a while knows there's many types of converter hubs," Hritsko says. The main difference between these types of hubs is that you have two different ways of centering the hub: bushing and bearings.

Hi , is there any chance you can do a video on the MERCEDES MCT TRANSMISSION . i HAVE A 2013 C63 AMG COUPE . I have looked everywhere on the internet and cant find a lot about this transmission . I think It is a great box , what do you think ?

We have some issues with A6LF1 hyundai santafe torque converter and pump.
Could you please find a solution for the oil leak?

should the outside surface of the torque converter hub that goes into the tranny be really smooth?
mine has a layer of surface rust on some spots from sitting under a carport. also some light pitting.
should i just use fine sand paper to sand down the parts with the surface rust?
will the very small pitting affect anything?

Question; s My miniature torque converter in my fiat / ram V6 2013 2z4 has zf8hp45 trans- RE: Stator ... Can the stator come apart if so how, & is there a roller. Earing that can. BE replaced ? If this procedure requires the 450 degree oven ? Or not. Thx moonlighter@jobrated46
