    What a fine brave young Brit you are! You chose to EXIT right after module re-initialization without reprogramming the keys also.

    • @SYDiagnostics
      @SYDiagnostics  Před rokem

      The keys didn't need initialising. They where stored already and both worked afterwards as shown. No components where new to the vehicle

    Oh yes Steve , we all come across that PP9 type battery which the customers bought because you know who had a sale on 😂😂😂😂, like the adverts on tv for double glazing and furniture , at least the windows work and you can sit on a couch 😂😂😂, great video as usual , have had a fiesta mk 7 with the cog light on , apparently for automatic cars , but it's a manual and when putting it into reverse the factory fitted reversing sensors occasionally sound like an american police car 😂😂😂😂

    I see my UK Ford Dealership Tech Brethren have the same BS issues with their "Service Advisors", as we "Yanks" do! LOL!!!!
    NO good information taken from the vehicle owners etc........WE get to their job and ours as well.

      It’s and aftermarket tool designed for Ford and Mazda vehicles in some cases more powerful and convenient than dealer IDS

    Hi could you give me some advice when changing a module in a Ford like ipc apart from copying data from old to new do you need to do a module initialisation for it to work correctly thanks

    • @SYDiagnostics

      Only need initialisation if its part of the immobiliser system

    Great video. Dealing with a 2011 that had the ecu replaced and needs a similar bit of magic. Have you dealt with pats on an 11 transit? What obd dongle are you using ? trying to establish if its a crappy obd2 issue limiting functionality or if they changed the damn thing .....

    • @SYDiagnostics
      @SYDiagnostics  Před rokem

      I use forscan I'm most videos and occasionally the ford dealer tool IDS

    • @joenitro9024
      @joenitro9024 Před rokem

      @@SYDiagnostics yeah I was wondering which dongle yout using with forscan in this case. is it just an elm 327 unit or are you using the obd2link ex etc with j2534 pass thru to get into the pats programming as the 2011 im dealing with doesn't show that option on a licensed forscan but 08 - 11 should be the same pats system they took the pats put of the ecu and put it in the i.c in 2006. Trying to narrow it down to a limitation in forscan for that model year or a hardware deficiency

Cuz I have on one PCM stock tune and other more power tune. Is my logic good? Focus mk3 2016 with keyless. Problem is there are 2 keys programmed but I have only one.

    • @SYDiagnostics

    • @SYDiagnostics
      @SYDiagnostics  Před 2 lety +1

      It's not a pats tutorial video (title doesnt suggest it is) , it's a video showing a process to re align the pats components using forscan. There are multiple versions of pats and all now require the dealer tool and online connection to do any work
