Hello I was wondering PM you about an issue I'm having with my 1448 with a 30hp? It seems to be sucking air at mid to high range, even that it is set at the right height in fact just a half inch under the keel to the cavitation plate. I'm at a loss and are running out of ideas..
That is not a easy question to answer. At mid range it could be the exhaust from the engine causing the problem. A different prop could be the answer. You might need to lower the motor down a little more. My 30 was doing that I added a hydrofoil that fixed my problem.
I have a 1990 ish Nissan 9.9hp with good compression had weak spark and wouldn’t ignite anything now I don’t see any spark what should I replace or look at?
Looked to me that they both was miss fireing the top more but both was miss fireing if it made it through a fire stroke more then once then definitely miss fired.
When I ordered the new, I just ordered both. I am curious what it is going to do with two new coils. This will be a good test to see. Keep watching and commenting. Thanks

The first place I would check would be the fuel. Make sure the screen is clean in the fuel pump and check the carburetor.

I would make sure the kill switch was working properly first.
I have an outboard and the starter motor only turns when I disconnect the spark plugs
When you say disconnect the spark plugs do you mean take them out or unplug the wire?

@@OmFishing ماسبب اطفاء المحرك عند الحركه الناصيه. ولا يشتغل ابدا. للعلم ان نوافذ الوقود موصول جيدا
