Solar (Sun) Laser with Magnifying Glass or Magnifying Glass Sun Experiment description:

-- Never point the magnifying glass at a person or eye, it is dangerous to your health ---
1. Find a dry leaf or wood, and put it on the ground.
2. Take a magnifying glass and focus so that a narrow ray of sunlight is formed.
3. Wait until the smoke appears.
What’s.Happening?
The sun is attracted to and focused on a narrow region by the magnifying glass. The leaf or wood absorbs some of the sun's energy, which raises its temperature and causes it to burn. This experiment illustrates the potential harm of the sun's beams quite effectively.
