I’m not at all surprised that the upcoming Silverado EV is essentially a modern-day Avalanche… this was a vehicle ahead of its time. The combination of midgate and crew cab made this incredibly flexible and user friendly.
Just bought an 02 with 230,000 miles with a 4" rough country lift. The truck rides like it had 20,000 miles on it. No ticking in the engine , runs like a freaking champ!! I really didn't care for the truck, until I drove it. Rides like a dam caddi! Just painted the cladding with Raptor liner and it turned out freaking awesome!!!

I think GM should bring back the Avalanche because those features that GM added to these trucks back in the day were clever
