- OVERCOMING TINNITUS: WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
TINNITUS, RINGING EARS OR EAR NOISE IS THE CONTINUOUS PERCEPTION OF NOISE INCLUDING RINGING, ROARING, BUZZING, WHINING, OR CRACKLING. THESE SOUNDS ARE HEARD IN THE ABSENCE OF EXTERNAL SOUNDS.
POPULAR BELIEF IS THAT TINNITUS IS CAUSED BY DAMAGE TO PARTS OF THE EAR PERHAPS FROM A LOUD SOUND AND SEVERE EMOTIONAL OR PHYSICAL STRESS. RESEARCH UNDERTAKEN BY HAZEL AND JASTREBOFF INDICATES THAT, CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, TINNITUS OR "EAR NOISE" IS A "BRAIN THING" NOT AN "EAR THING". IN THIS REGARD, STUDIES HAVE SHOWN THAT MOST PEOPLE WILL PERCEIVE TINNITUS IF LEFT IN A PERFECTLY QUIET ROOM FOR A PERIOD OF TIME.
Tinnitus is the condition where a phantom noise is heard inside the head. It can be loud or soft, intermittent or permanent. The sound can be anything from ringing to buzzing, hissing, rustling, clanging or roaring.

+Gaimz ive got bad eye floaters so thats just as irritaing and annoying
+Otto Mann I have both.
+Otto Mann i have both 😁
I think everyone has it, but some don't realize they do. Is this true? :0
Ariana R how do you live with yourself??
to be honest, i didnt really know what tinnitus was. i just know when it's really silent i hear static/ringing. and now that i know that is an actual condition, i feel like acknowledging it as a condition made it worse.
Same goes for me. I always thought everyone heard some static/ringing-ish sound when it's silent, like I do. I once mentioned this to my friends and they looked at me like I was crazy. Now I know that it's a condition, I feel like it's gotten worse really quickly. Because I pay attention to it, probably..
***** yeah same here but my tinnitus was just cause by an ear infection that I'll been having for a while
Christina Odisey It seems that you have a similar form of tinnitus like me. How long have you been hearing it? I have it since I was 4 or 5 and when I learned that it was an actual condition it got also worse but it got back to "normal" levels after some weeks when I didn't think too much about it anymore. So just live your live and don't think too much about it. I got used to the sound over the years but I don't know if people can get used to it if they got it later than me.
Universal Gaming did you have many ear infectiond
Christina Odisey I got it on google for Knewreck Easy Ear Guide using treatment for ear ringing noises
My father is finally sleeping after two days of continuous Tinnitus thanks to this video. He says it completely cancels his Tinnitus, even when playing in low volume. I've never been so happy to listen to him snoring. Thank you!
I really got a wonderful experience of this sound therapy I went to many doctors but My ears sound had not stopped till I found this first I did not believe but is really worked thank got you created such nice person who made this sound therapy
I have had tinnitus for many years, and know that until the day I die I will never again know a moment of silence. This sound works great for masking the "crickets" in my ear, but it is just basically replacing one sound with another. My ear doctor told me I have tinnitus, along with minor hearing loss in the upper ranges, and I do find it harder to hear the voices of my younger female students now. Tinnitus can only be masked, dealt with, and/or ignored. It is mostly noticeable in the absence of other sounds (especially in a quiet area) or when focused on. Don't let anyone fool you folks. There is no cure. You have to learn to deal with it, and you can. There are far worse things in life.
Much respect sir. I understand it can be difficult, but you seem to have taken control over it :)
Thank you so much for posting this. My tinnitus was unbearable today. I have a 'zen' mode on my hearing aid but it's music based and I was so sick of hearing the same thing over and over. So grateful to have found this. God bless.
This may be my favorite video on YT these days - really helps, thanks!!
This is actually amazing and I listen to many tinnitus channels thank you so much blessings to you all
I have had tinnitus for 3 years, and now I feel better although it's still working. I think the following tips may help those who suffer from this unremitting sound. First, they should sleep well. Second, try to avoid sitting in quiet places. Third, keep themselves busy during the day; by for example, chatting with friends, go jogging, cooking, walking, fishing, etc. The only factor which, from my point of view of course, may deteriorate the patient's psyche is "isolation". So, people with tinnitus HAVE TO BE sociable and talkative to reduce the negative impact of tinnitus on their psychological life.
God bless you for your help
No, G-d does not cause one to suffer....simply a pathological issue. But I have found that the Spirit of G-d / Yeshua/Jesus has helped me cope. We all need to find G-d and His Spirit.

Unnecessary socialization is worse than tinnitus.
At 5AM, on the verge of literal madness, I put this on. It didn't completely silence the ringing, but it drastically reduced it. I was able to get a few hours of fitful sleep with the headphones on, so thank you for posting this.
have you tried massaging your neck muscle. i forgot the name of the muscle but just search tinnitus massage. loads of people have reported being cured of it. remember, the body is interconnceted. strained neck muscles (bad body posture, injury, nerve disruption) are linkes under the ear. remember its about signals to the brain beimg misinterpreted. i did those exercises yestersay and the whooshing has decreased drastically in my right year. good luck.
My headphone is doing just as much damage as the tinnitus. I think I have a brain tumor
I've had tinnitus without realizing it; an explosion at work made me realize it all along; sound therapy helps; videos such as these are a life saver...I've had sinusitis since I was a kid..on and off...I think it contributed to tinnitus over the years...
This is the best method. worked like a charm took me like 7 months to sleep without this sound.. everything is back to normal now, well recommended!
i hope this is a loop and not a huge waste of water ^^
Believe me; if you have the most annoying ever beep in your head 24/7, and it just never stops, and drives you crazy, then 1,000 liters of water is a small price for some relief

Wasn't searching directly for this but just chanced upon it now. Very nice as I've dealt with tinnitus for most of my life despite being able to still hear close to 18kHz. Several years ago I designed a computer that creates a soft hum-like white noise from its fans, and this allows me to easily fall asleep.
Never really knew this therapy existed, but considering I've listening to something similar to this sound for eight hours each evening, I was wondering if I have to be conscious while listening since the ringing persists in dead quiet.
I'm also a tinnitus sufferer i meditate every night listen to waterfalls sound rain sound and i choose also some meditation and relaxing music before going to bed and it helps a lot.May God helps us all Tinnitus sufferer.
It works, it's the perfect sound pitch to block out my ringing ears, thank you for posting =)
I've been hearing vibrations in my ear and now my head for the past week and after googling for help I saw this video and this is thee only way I can sleep, thank you so much for helping us who are in need of sleep.
My mother had benefited by drinking plenty of water, at least 1.5 liters per day.
taking long walks, almost completely eliminating the halls and taking the maghesio

My tinnitus never bothered me until I found out I had it since I always thought it was normal, I've had as long as I can remember. now that I found about it a few months ago its been bothering me to no end.

mysteryland i like the way you describe the ringing sound! Mine same deeper hissing w like electricity sound! But I am super sensitive to all sorts of annoying sounds that is my main cause of pains and anxiety 😞😔🥺🥺
I’ve had tinnitus for over 20 years. It is loudest when I am stressed out. This sound is perfect for me to help alleviate it.
I've suffered from tinnitus for many years now and i can tell you It's no laughing matter.
When I stumbled across this video It was like a miracle, the frequency of the hissing water was almost at the same frequency of my tinnitus offering me some wonderful respite.
Thanks millepassi.
I've had tinnitus since I was 4. I thought it was a normal part of life, so when I was 6 I asked my mom if the ringing ever got annoying. She took me to the doctor and that was that.

This type of white noise therapy does wonders for me. It gives me a break from the constant noise in my head. Yes, you could say that you are just exchanging one noise for another but I would argue that it gives me back some control due to the fact that I can always turn off the recording. The key to this working for me is to put my headphones on the outside of my ear canals (I but the ear pieces on the upper lobe of my ears) and then adjust the volume where I can just slightly hear my Tinnitus. This approach helps you to learn to tune out your Tinnitus while still participating in conversations, watching TV, listening to music or just hearing ambient noises (ie. traffic, the wind, rain, etc.). Tinnitus sucks but, with patients and the right approach, it can be overcome (habitutation).
My so called friend of mine blew a party popper in my ear, 24 hours ago and i've had a ringing in my left ear and a lack of hearing since then too. I'm really hoping it goes away but fearing that it may stick around for a while.. It's so crazy how we as human beings take so many things for granted these days and honestly, if the ringing ever clears up and my hearing comes back i'm going to live the rest of my life by pushing everyday to the fullest. I wish the best of luck to anyone struggling with any sort of hearing or sight problems, and can only present the advice that we could be off worse. This whole situation has really put me in perspective of life and just how delicate it really is. Best wishes to anyone who reads or sees this
-Cj
How are you doing?
This is helping to as I don't hear the tinnitus when I listen to the water in this video. But the tinnitus hasn't gone away because when I turn off this noise the sound frequency is there again in my "head". Thank you for this is like a bandaid.
Out of all I have heard so far, this for me is the best relief, thanks.
This video works well but why does it have to have so many ads embedded? As soon as the video stops to play an ad the ringing starts again, which is the last thing a person needs when trying to keep sane. There should only be one ad at the beginning.
I have no idea why I have tinnitus. Usually it is bearable and I don't notice it until I am sitting quietly. It has been getting a lot worse over the last few days and now it's so bad that I can't clearly hear what people say to me. I watched 43 seconds of this and it is back to its usual low volume for now. Thanks so much for posting!
I've had tinnitus since I was born, I've managed to live 45 years with it. it never goes away, I am slightly hard of hearing and even when I am in a very quiet environment still hear it, you get used to it, it's permanent background noise.
Thank you so much . This is great discovery .
You have a lovely shower! Thanks for sharing; it's pleasant on the ears.
I really don't know how this works but I sat here thinking about the ringing in my right ear for about an hour before I started looking for sounds to cancel it out. After 1 minute of this it's gone. I'm sure it will come back but I'm effing amazed. funny.
Well, I wonder how the water bill was.
He probably only left it on for a few minutes and duplicated the video ^^
Boran Ucdere I'd hope so >_
I guess he made the money back in the fucking ads
Looped it and filled the tub with the water. I know, I know, he should have given the money spent on water to charity. And water isn't vegan. Or is it?
The same guy has done a video of him using a hair dryer for hours, you don't really think he stood there and actually filmed himself for all that time do yer! lol
Thanks for this upload, i find it really helpful.
I find that eating almonds really increases my tinnitus. Agree with the running and will try the pineapples. Thanks!
Years ago I used to have occasional reduced hearing due to thick ear wax accumulation and had to have a doctor extract it. When that was done, everything sounded really loud. Now I've got tinnitus and I'm so nostalgic for that ear wax "problem"! I wish there were some sort of product that could let you be just temporarily deaf, like while trying to sleep. This sound therapy sometimes helps and sometimes not. I probably need to listen to it longer than 15 minutes at a time.
I am 64yrs old, and experienced an awful dizziness attack when aged 8 yrs old, at school, couldn't walk straight, felt very sick, lasted approx 15 mins. I've suffered attacks for years, now, the noise is in both ears. Also, I have raised blood pressure, probably makes it worse. Sometimes, it affects my sleep, and I cry, but I'll sleep well the next night. I have, when feeling pretty desperate, thought of suicide, but, have my faith in Jesus, so wouldn't do that. This shower noise eases the Tinnitus, and believe me, you can learn to deal with it, and live your life.
Thank you for sharing. It works a lot.
I have searched and tried many sound therapies but this is useful and amazing thanks
Like Gina Pettersson, I first became aware of my tinnitus when I was the same age and I'm now nearly 68. It is gradually becoming worse. Thanks for this video because listening through headphones the "hiss" of the water definitely reduces my tinnitus.
Just listened to this for 5 minutes and it has dramatically decreased my tinitus!
Qwerty @season q
im going to try and listen to this when I go to sleep, hope I don't have dreams about running water and piss the bed lol
Had it for 5 weeks and it sucks. Feels like it gets better then comes back with stress/lack of sleep. These sounds help quite a bit.
I have tested and use many sound therapy but this is one of the best and useful one . It takes time but with a huge and better result
I've had tinnitus ever since I was in elementary.. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night, it's loud and annoying as hell but I've become accustomed to it and try not to focus on it..
It's good comments like these that give people hope to be able to cope with it. Glad you've learned to ignore it, I haven't yet :(
Yeah I remember not being able to do homework in elementary school in a quiet room because the ringing was just too distracting, especially when it starts shifting pitch
Benjamin Bradford Yeah i hate it when it can be a constant ringing or a serious of small buzzes its really annoying when you get two different noises from your two ears
My tinnitus has increased again. I've had it on and off for 30+ years. 3 things I do to reduce it - 1) Listen to stuff like this video. 2) Sit in a quiet room 1/2 hr. a day and TRY HARD to listen BEYOND the tinnitus. I "reach" for the silence. 3) Lift weights 3 times a week, do cardio 3x a week. I expect I'll have a dramatic decrease in a week or so. Try it. Good Luck.
also try to drink at least 1.5 liters of water a day and eating 4 almonds a day for magnesium
millepassi
Magnesium, eh? Thanks.
Terry Bell Hey very good video. You can find help here- Renshoov Tinnitus Expert (search on Google) It will cure tinnitus without the normal expense. I have heard some very very expressive success results through guided meditation centering
.
thanks for the helpful suggestion!
Terry Bell f
I tried other sounds and music too. But this is the best that helps me. Thanks millepassi for your patience posting this.
I like it very much,
Thanks 🙏
This video literally saved my life back then.
+abc2390986 Know what you mean . Had this around a year and a half now, used to get panicky laying in bed with the realization that it will never go away. But I would stick this on and it really helped. Haven't used it for months, coming up to a year I think, but just lately its getting louder and wont quieten down to a level that I can cope with without a bit of help, so came back to this for a bit of relief.
Wow! I listened to this for only 20 minutes and already when I turned it off, my tinnitus was so much better! The slight ringing in my left ear was reduced by quite a lot! I don't know if this will work for everyone, but I noticed my tinnitus last night and I couldn't get to sleep because of it. In the end, I fell asleep without the help of noise therapy. I think mine is caused by illness, because I have a really sore throat at the moment.
But for anyone concerned, this video really doesn work for cancelling out tinnitus WHILST you listen to it. I don't know if it will work for me and help afterwards...
Fantastic. I no longer hear any random ringing in my ears anymore. Now it just sounds like it's constantly raining everywhere I go. -_-
I don't know whether this 'cures' my tinnitus or not, anyway, at least, this makes me comfortable! Thanks a lot!!
Hey guys, I don't have tinnitus. I'm just doing some research on it but I wanted to say that I can't even imagine what you guys are going through. Honestly, reading the comments made me tear up.
+RiceTownYT I can only sleep normal if i drink myself to oblivion. otherwise same thing
+veager123 Know what you mean. Was turning into an alcoholic, so now just before I go to bed I have a joint just to get me off.
I have tinnitus and it came on overnight in my left ear. It's driving me crazy and I don't know what's caused it as I literally woke up with it.
Tinnitus is a wonder. No one can stop this...
wow, like 30 commercials interrupting this generally helpful video. SCREW YOU youtube
When I'm in the shower I'm tinnitus free for a few minutes . I tried recording it myself , didn't work so well because I had to put the mic in a plastic bag so this is great.
Wow it REALLY works! Bye bye tinitus, see you in the next loud concert!
Alexander VP Which part really worked? The videos of white sound or the acupuncture?
Alexander VP Buy some ER20s from Etymotic Research and ensure you don't have tinnitus after the next concert...or that tinnitus one day will become permanent. Trust me, I've had mine for almost 6 years now. I wear ER20s now for every show so it doesn't get worse. They are far superior to foam earplugs or silicone swimmer's plugs because they don't reduce the treble substantially more than the bass, so you can still enjoy the sibilance of cymbals, hi-hats, esses, etc. For those who enjoy music, these earplugs are a must (unless you can afford musician's earplugs custom molded to your ear canal)
+Alexander VP are you referring to the video or acupuncture?
+Alexander VP what does really works?? pls let me know and i try it asap
byby
i listen to this as often as possible ...subbed bless your channel!
OH GOD ! thanks for burying my tinnitus into this sound, ive now saved this sound clip full six hours on my cellphone, and have it ready whenever i need it to battle the horror of tinnitus, especially when trying to get some sleep
This gets rid of the ringing INSTANTLY. WOW .
Lovely Redd how is it now?
Lovely Redd This is the best of CZcams imho. Those New Age designer sounds like Pink Noise and Brown Noise just give me a headache. They try to manipulate different parts of the sound and it almost always makes me feel terrible. This is the best by far.
do you see improvement?
MrHardrocker98 I still have the high pitched sound in my right ear but it goes away instantly when I listen to this.
aham ok . Was hoping for something permanent though .
This is amazing. During the ad before the video, I could hear the same high-pitched tone in my right ear as always. The second the water started running, it went away.
Laughing at some of the comments but this noise actually helps, thankyou! P.s i hope this didn't do too much damage to your water bill
I've truly lived with ears ringing for some time, at times almost unbearable and also other periods not necessarily as well negative. Yet often there. Someone tried some thing known as 'Oakloe' and acquired effects. I tried this as well and still have also been so pleased. This ringing still arrives and should go, but it is so far better. Idea this could become useful.
this is the only sound worked for me
thx
I have tinnitus for moe than 8 years now and I am 26! I am not sure of why i got it but it get worse if I drink alcohol or smoke weed. Also if I make sports - for me its seems to be blood circulation problem. I would so badly know where it comes from and how I could influence it. By the way, I cannot get asleep without that video anymore, the tinnitus gets worse and worse. But never give up hope. Try your best, eat healthy food, try to make good sports and stay always friendly and don't let you provoke by other people. I wish you best
I know it can be hard to live with that disease, but please dont even think about it getting worse, think positive. Psychologic studies have shown, that positive thinking and smiling people experience recovery, where negative thoughts and pesimistic attitude made it worse. I myself trust in God and believe that he will lead me through this during my life on earth. Here: No temptation3 has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted4 beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,5 he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Cor 10,13. Wish you the best!
should you avoid headphones even at low volume? and does excersize help?
Jack Attack tank you tsnk for the peace of mind i hope u serious
thank you very much.
thanks so much for uploading this - seems to help a bit
I am lucky my Tinitus stops and starts sometimes its really loud I found the best thing to do is to go out and have fun, associate the tinitus with excitement embrace the sound and focus on it as an interesting buzzing sound, dont fight it or it will send you round the twist ,listening to this decreases the volume which is great. Also do lots of excersize and get really tired so you can sleep as well as you can.it can be a really positve thing to have and contribute to overall happiness
Thanks for your positive attitude
your water bill going to blow the roof off
+Luis Sandonal u cant hear the cut every 5-6 minutes? it's a loop
+Jacob Forsberg Yea I hear it. russ
One of the best sources for tinnitus information is the Tinnitus Support Message Board (TSMB). It has been around for many years and is filled with very helpful information. I've been a part of that support group for a long time and there are lots of caring, informed folks there willing to encourage and help you in your efforts to habituate.
It will get better. I started with Tinnitus in April and it was bad. Now I have more good days than bad--it never goes away but I don't notice it and I can function. Hang in there and you will begin to adjust and it won't drive you so nuts. Also, I take Lipo-Flavonoid Plus (at Walgreens, recommended by my ENT), Zinc, Magnesium and Cinnamon daily. Stay away from caffeine and too much salt (including sodas). Get good headphones and listen to this when you need to focus. Have hope. It will be ok!

I had the same exact issue! Except I hear ringing instead of roaring. I would awaken and the ring would be the first thing I heard and I'd immediately go into panic mode! This, so far, has been the only thing to help. I have to wait another 2 weeks before my ENT appointment :(
Good luck to everyone else out there who suffers with this. I've had tinnitus for as long as I can remember.. I hope there will be a solid cure one day.

Gotta ask, how much was the water bill?
And the for the vid iv suffered from tinnitus ever since I was like 5 and the only way iv got through it so far is by drowning out the ringing with music from my headphones, now I think about it, iv probably made it worse haha
Joseph Prince I fear that it makes it worse as well, but it's so good when i'm listening to it. catch 22
Thank U, thank U,Thank U, thank God, this has really helped me out a whole lot. I thought I was going to really freak out. I would awaken in the early part of the morning almost in a panic because of the extremely loud roaring in my head.Sounded like motors running of two hugh trucks. I tried this for about 5 minutes and saw a difference immediately. Started asking God yesterday for a miracle without a miracle I didn't think I could make it. I thank God for this post!
thank you, Erick
Why would CZcams allow advertisements to interrupt NOISE THERAPY!?
I am literally going to boycott any company which interrupts a session where I am trying to alleviate my tinnitus. If your reading this editors, I WILL NOT consume anything that is shown, you are killing a potential customer everytime.

Amazing that this is considered therapy. Various degrees this is the sound I hear almost constantly.
I have been TRINNITUS for 10 year ... i am Vietnamese, i am very crazy with my TRINNITUS because it more lound after my operates for earrum, to day i found this sound, i try to hear a little bit -> make me feal little bit dizzy, but the TRINNITUS was being reduced very much .... thanks you, a lot, you make my life more happier
I have Tinnitus and When i was kid it started, at first, it was just a tiny and sound, but frequently i've experienced louder noises this year.. i wonder why and some of my friends told me to have a therapy about it but i can't so I need to listen tinnitus sounds even though the noises are much louder when i'm in school... hope i can't recover with this condition.. it's really annoying!

Its hard to protect your ears at all times, especially walking down the street- where someone is using a lawn mower or worse- a jackhammer. Tinnutus is just something we have put up with I guess, and hope it will eventually get better. Could take months or years though.
I found that giving up stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine, alcohol , sugar etc, greatly reduced my tinnitus
Uh huh tell me more
really ??
