I just got my psr A5000 which is very similiar to this one.
Thank you for the explination, that helped mme solving a Problem, just too bad you can only rename the Bank but not the 8 regs that are under that Bank.
For example in your case, it would be nice to be able to name the first reg. (e piano) and the send one (e piano+strings) and then you open the Bank Windows and can see all 8 regs with their names on the screen.

Hi Chris I have a question for you and I hope you will be able to help me. I find my SX900 very "boomy" when playing the styles and I have to bring down the volume of the bass fairly low every time I play a song to resolve this problem. I thought that it would probably be better to use the equalizer to resolve this like I saw you doing it in a video on the T5 but there is no edit button on this psr to do so. Do you have a video about how to use the equalizer on the SX900 because I just don't seem to be able to find a video on this subject. Thank you Chris that would be greatly appreciated.

Very helpful vedio Chris..thanks a ton...one thing i have noticed its not balanced e.g the left section always overpowering the right and youhave to fiddle with the mixer almost in all the styles especially when you play solos.Is there any remedy for this?
Hi Chris. I just bought and received my new psr sx700. I liked this video, but I am confused about when I load a saved registration, how I know which memory button it will be used? Does the screen give me a button number, like 1-8? Or is it the same button I saved it to? If the latter is true, then it seems like I would need to keep that written down somewhere. Hi Chris . A newbie to your posts , finding them so useful thank you . Probably being dense . . . I have created quite s few sounds , saved into Registrations . Am trying to sort into categories , but nothing I do via File menu etc works . I find e.g. " Love Song" in "Reg File 4" bank 2, and want to move into "Reg File 5" bank 3 . Ok I just ordered my PSR-SX900 I own a PSR-SX600 and I am not sure how Playlists work and there seems to be nothing I can find as far as tutorials go for these specifics. So in the video, you saved a snapshot in Registration #1 and also in #2 only with strings added. Both of these are named "Chris75" ? How do you set up the keyboard to have 8 specific registrations ready to go at the push of a button if you have 20 or 30 registrations saved in the user memory?

I am unorthodox, i donât save multiple registrations for one song ! I tend to save one complete registration to one songâ ( Acca ...all my inputs eg. vol. tempo added voices ext. ) to one registration. My question is.... can I save all my 8 registrations to one Bank ? Iâve tried this ...but when I load up my playlist, all my registrations get whipped clean ? Oh hum , hrs of refiguring my once was registration songs đ„Ž

Hi Terence. I'll do some experiments and come back to you. I know the issue you're having and I'm sure there's a clever way around it. I can't remember without getting on an SX and trying. For some reason, no matter how many times Iâve saved it to a bank or to the registry my SX-900 does not remember my left hand settings. Iâve been to several chat groups, I know several people personally who split the keyboard and played bass with their left hand who are all having this exact same issue. Is it not possible for the SX - 900 to remember the left-hand settings?

How do you SAVE those 8 keys so that they are blank again for you to add 8 MORE setups to the 8 keys.

Hi Chris, it's me again. My confusion lies with the number of registration memory buttons. Do all 8 buttons pertain to one song? Or, do the 8 buttons get placed in a file? Right now I have 8 songs in the registration memory and I am unable to save any more registrations. I hope that this makes more sense. I thank you for your time and patience.
Hi Rosalind. The 8 buttons usually pertain to a single song. E.g. button 1 will be for the first verse, button 2 will be for the chorus, button 3 will be for verse 2, etc.
The memory of the keyboard is so large that you can make banks of 8 for as many songs as you like. Naturally, you'd name the bank after the chosen song.

How do you save to list so it can be saved to a play list ?
When you 8 registration is done name it as bank similar to how you register a memory..press both registration button simultaneously the+and the_and you name your bank where your 8 registration memory will be stored..cheers
How to delete preset perfect?
Chris having saved registrations and then decide you donât wish to keep them how do you delete them ?
Hello, If you go onto your registration section, find the bank you want to delete, then after pressing it go to the file edit option in the top right hand side corner, there is an option to delete the file. How to save another one
This doesnât work with a custom styleâŠ. I tried this several times and did exactly what you did but still when i call the saved style the modified voices are set to original and not how i saved it
This works with every style. When you press the memory button, a menu will pop on the screen, make sure that "Voice" and "Style" is selected on the screen.
how can i copy the hole playliste from USB into the SX 900 ?? So that i can use the hole playlist WITHOUT USB stick ????

How do I delete previous data in a particular registration Bank?
Press the + -, then select you regist bank, press "Menu" on your screen, then "Regist Bank Edit".
Select your registrations and press delete.
Remember to save it to another name, otherwise it will replace the current one.
You can also rename it as BLANK. So when you want an empty one, you select the BLANK one.
Good day. Okay. I tried that before but more than one Bank would have deleted instead of a particular one. However, I will try it again.

I have a problem with my psr sx 900 piano. The bitch bend is making weird and very out of tune when I use it.and my piano is not even one year old. Do you have any tricks or hacks to solve this?
Hello! If you are having issues with the pitch bend you could reset the system settings - rest assured this won't delete any of your files.
