I’m the guy in this video! - I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that supported us by pressing the 👍 below the video. We’re only a small independent store (x10 people!) and your 👍 really helps us get seen on CZcams.
You're welcome!
please i want to know if the expansion pack for sx700 can run on the sx600 ?
You did a fine job, man. Excellent presentation. I teach adults for a living so I present all day. You did great. It’s not your fault they went and put a damn touchscreen on the 700 and ruined it. Seasons greetings from Texas to you. 🤠
Exelente trabajo un saludo 🙌
Outstanding review! You ve convinced me to buy the sx700. It's way superior although sx600 is not bad at all. I'm looking for playing mostly modern talking songs, what styles do you reccomend? Thank you again

Buy myself 3 weeks ago the Yamaha PSR-SX700. I had the PSR-E473. Man what a difference in a great way. Thank you all people from Epianos for the great videos you share at CZcams. It made it all so easy for me to "understand" the 700. Great job and keep up the good work 😃 👌 👍
hi, what is the biggest difference?
Yo tengo el 473 pero vi3ndo este video voy por 700

Highly dedicated review with all important details! Thanks a lot for the brilliant comparison!❤
Never saw such simple and detailed review. Thank you so much 💗
Amazing review!!!🎉
One of the best and consize presentations on these 2 keyboards! Thank you
Linda, Sydney, Australia 🇦🇺
Brilliant Review and above all, a brilliant music shop ... In my opinion, hardly find any other store that compares with the amount of education and details of particular Yamaha products and for that, I genuinely salute Chris and the guys at ePianos UK. It's also well presented and enjoyable and so think that this deserves great recognition and acknowledgment. Thanks a million from Melbourne, Australia. 🌏
Thanks for taking the time to put this together! Your comparison was very thorough and informative. I really appreciate how you took the time to pick out individual voices and styles that sound better on the sx700. Cheers from Canada!
Thanks so much for your support, @musicisfun1
Chris great review on Yamaha 600 your enthusiasm for the instrument is captivating I admire your honesty you do show off the best of that 600 series. Thant you for your help in making my decision easier. Thank you happy new year to you and your family. David.
This guy is the Ros Atkins of keyboard comparisons! - I'm happy to give it a 👍 because this is one incredibly detailed, extremely well presented, and really entertaining video to watch. Thank you for explaining everything is such depth. Beautiful playing too!
Lol! Thanks, Beau. Glad that you found it helpful. Chris. In case you didn't realise, you can watch all of our videos in one place on our website by clicking here: www.epianos.co.uk/tv/
Honest and fantastic review! Liked it very much! Thanks so much!
Thank you for the video!
I just bought a PSR-E473 and didn't really satisfy me.
So I've been contemplating for the past few days between SX600 and SX700. It does help me choose the right keyboard and I am going to return the E473 and get the SX700.
The price difference is kinda big in the states but I think it's worth it as a one time investment.
Thank you for the demonstration and for the passion and emotion that shines through your voice when you play on the keyboard
The SX 600 has 116 buttons and switches--a little overwhelming until you get used it. But the keyboard has great voices and rhythms, is good value for money compared to the SX700 and SX900 and is a lot of fun to play once you master the controls. One fault is that Yamaha should have made the display screen larger. I solved that problem by using a clear plastic magnifying sheet (which I cut to size) to fit over the display screen. A magnifying sheet is available online for only a few dollars. Using it makes the display much appear larger for those of us with older eyes or poor vision.
Whoa thanks!
You're a genius 🤣😂
Smart!
Miért nem lehet leforditani hozászólást azonal .
Excellent idea. I wanna get one for my Sx600. Tq

I’ve never smiled so much watching a review. Your skill and humor are unparalleled. You’ve sold me on the SX-700.
Thank You for showing us the different features
& sounds between both the Yamaha music keyboards!!!
One of the best, honest and truly accurate reviews I have watched and I`m a Korg fan! Fantastic reliable and truthful info. Thank you.
Thank you so much, Leigh. That's a really nice comment! I really put a lot of effort into making this video as clear and comprehensive as I could. I'm really pleased that so many people have taken time to say they enjoyed it. - Chris
Great comparison!!
Thank you for this video.. I was confused which one to go for.. now i am clearly convinced to go for sx700 after going thru this video.❤
Thank you for this really informative Video. Nicely done!
I’m looking forward to this session.
Thank you for this well presented and super clear analysis on the special unique features of both the Yamaha PSR SX600 and the Yamaha PSR SX700! I have found this video and your previous videos extremely helpful and are exceptionally well done with such a great comparative analysis on both the pros and cons of each of these two readily accessible and very valuable keyboards. 💚💚💚💚💚
Thank you so much for your supportive comment, Andrew! Much appreciated.
you are a great pianist …really enjoy hearing you play 🙂
THX for this comparision, and the play along
Thanks for the kind comment, Barney. Your support is really appreciated! - Chris
I like the comparison of the two keyboards, just what I was looking for. Thank you very much
thanks indeed Chris, good to see someone takes time (43:43) and explains the whole machinery in a close to exhaustive manner, in a motivational speech, with due eloquence, great work.
Fantastic Review🎉
Keep going!!!!!
Thanks for the wonderful presentation. Really helped me to decide which model to buy according to my end-needs.
Excellent review,thank you.
New subscriber and I enjoyed this video. Thorough guide, and a few laughs. Thank you for this 😊
Thanks for your support, Bria!
Such a great and useful video, thank you. I went to my local music store today and found exactly what you have described. I feel validated haha.
fantastic video, it really helps, thanks!
i was so close to getting the sx600, but now i am going to carry on saving up and get the sx 700, WOW what a difference thankyou so much for the great comparison
Very straight forward and clear. Cheers!
Excellent video with practical advice. Thank you very much. Miro from Brussels 🙂
Thanks so much for this very informative video as i am thinking of getting one👍🏻👍🏻and i do enjoy very much all your performances on these 2 keyboards 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻👍🏻!!
Great review! Thanks from Canada!
Was ready to purchase sx600, but glad to see your review, I will now go for the sx700. Thank you for showing the difference in both...👍
Exactly the same. Made my mind to go with sx600, but after seeing this video, I think sx 700 shall be the much much better and a good option in order to get more benefit.
the 700 is now the cost of the 600 1k so that helps,,or if your pooer the 600 at about £650 is more doable
Thanks for that Chris. happened on this by chance. have an old tired Tyros 1 @ mo & was considering a SX600 when this eventually dies. But am now thinking of the SX700. Thank you again,
Great video that helped me to understand the differences between SX600 and SX70 wich were not clear for me .
Thank you very much and great job.😀
Excellent enjoyable watch many thanks 😎
Glad you enjoyed it, Richard. Thanks for supporting us by watching the Premiere.
Thanks for this great presentation.
Thank you for your support, Franc.
Thanks so much for this nice video which is both helpful and entertaining. I have watched several demo videos with the amazing PSR-SX700 and still learned more on this demo. I feel I would have hundreds of hours of fun with the SX700, but if money were no object, I would buy the Yamaha Genos. Thanks again. Jerry in the USA.
I was in the process of ordering the 600,but after watching your super presentation.the 700 is the one for me. Once again SUPER PRESENTATION. Cheers.
I got my SX900 from you guys. Mostly because of your content
BEST COMPARISONS I EVER SEEN.VERY GOOD EXPALNASIONS
Thank you!
lovely detailed video
Excellent details
Very helpful indeed thanks so much !
Definitely, improvement in capabilities, sampling of sounds, etc. contribute to the enjoyment by listeners and performers alike. Not only is your comparison very well made for those deciding a purchase, but it also can inspire beginners to be interested in a new pastime.
Thanks for your support, Sergio.
Great review
Hi, Im from Sweden and must say how good demo video it is, very good presented, Im very close to buy an SX 700 for sure. Thanks.
Awesome comparison on the Yamaha psr 600 vs psr 700.. really appreciate how you go to the differences that other reviewers dont take the time to do so. Love the PSR 700 it is of course around $600 more that the PSR 600.. but the added technology given on the 700 is much more robust and I think will fit my application. Thank you so much for the Brilliant Review!
That's a really lovely comment! Thank you for your support, Tino D.
It was too helpful. Thank you.
Très bonne comparaison. Merci pour cette bonne vidéo
Nice video!!
I have seen few PSR SX videos but I loved your comparison with sound qualities on these Yamaha babies,💓from 🇨🇦
Great video - thanks
I tried all 3 models, the PSR--SX600 / SX700 and PSR-SX900. The keyboard rebound of the PSR-SX600 has a cheaper feel compared to the 2 higher models, it is noisy when it returns to its original position. The pressure required to depress the keys has to be heavier, while the SX700 and SX900 feature a softer feel and rebound. I liked the PSR-SX900 the most based on the nice feel of the button selection and key. One must decide what features and functions you think that you might want. The backing and accompaniments styles are cool for all models in this series. The price also varies according to the features. It is still nice to watch someone demo on the keyboards.
Thanks for that, takashi69x. I certainly found that I could play piano with more subtlety on the SX700 compared to the SX600. You may have noticed me being a little clumsey on the SX600 keys around the 08:05 mark. Having more dynamic range in the main piano sample really helps with how you attack the notes too, I found. All the best, Chris.
Hi , my name is Mehrzad and I am very pleased of your brilliant explanation and
enumeration the advantage of the SX 700 over the SX 600.
I must first thank you for your accurate and helpful comparison; But many of your audiences might like to know about the ability of these two keyboards to create oriental songs and musics; In fact, many people like me may wanted to know about the capability of these two keyboards to create Arabic, Iranian and Turkish musics; And my question here is whether both keyboards are capable of playing the musics that I have mentioned; Also my second question is about to give to these two keyboards the sounds of oriental instruments as samples, is it possible?
All the best 👍
Good presentation Chris….. enjoyed your music…. playing-move’s too 👀😃
Thanks for watching, Terence. I couldn't help myself when the Latin style burst into life!
Nice review.
very good work
Very well presented comparison. Your passion for music and exploring the possibilities of being creative shows in your expressions and voice. Not only that your camera error cat is hilarious!. Just too bad the cat wasn't helping you play some of the notes!! Almost worth a trip over the pond to go to your store.
Thanks, Ralph. I have a lot of fun making these videos. I only wish I had time to make more of them! Sadly, since we've upgraded our equipment, Camera Error Cat hasn't been seen much. Chris
thanks, I was going to buy a psr-sx600 after watching your video, I know own the psr-sx700
Thank you so much ..greetings from Dubai
Well, you were the right guy for the job. Very well explained and demonstrated. I also like the "weight of a newborn baby" and pictures of the cat !!! Yeah, the sound is everything...
Will be watching today
Thanks for joining us in the Premiere, Neil. Much appreciated!
nice review
Super video. WHAT are the differences between the KEYS ?
23:08 literally gave goosebumps 💯🥺
tq for review..good job
Extremely good demo.
Thank you for your support, Christer!
Earned a sub.+like! Love it!🙂 Thank you!
Thank you, greetings from germany ❤
Hello Chris and all.
Thank you very much...I have a Yamaha psr670....looks like the sx700 is quite similar...you've helped me decide I really. Need to upgrade...thanks so much!
Absolutely! The touchscreen OS on the Yamaha SX700 really does bring it into the modern era, making it much easier to navigate and utilise all its features compared to models without a touchscreen. It's great to hear that the video showcased this feature well and helped in your decision-making process.
Also, don't forget to check out our selection of used keyboards, where we often have quality used Yamaha PSR-SX700 and similar models. You can find them here: www.epianos.co.uk/used-keyboards/.
Excelente explicación de ambas máquinas, se nota la diferencia.. gracias por el tiempo que te tomas para mostrar los detalles de los teclados.. bendiciones brother
Hey! Thank you for your fantastic video.
29:43 - Stevie Wonder and Jeff Beck - Superstition.
30:35 - Queen - Radio Ga Ga.
32:12 Paskal Tippel - Mas Que Nada.
Am I right? 😉😊
thank you!
Love it thanks' 😊👍
Going with the 700 also gives you advantages when it comes to the free Yamaha expansion packs. For example the 700 will be able to download all of the voices offered in a particular expansion pack where the 600 may only only be able to download 60-70% of the expansion pack voices based on how advanced some of the voices in the expansion pack are.
It depends where this new arranger comes in your set up. Having myself a piano, a synth MODX by Yamaha and using intensively Ableton Live all connected to an Audient interface at home, the styles and arrangements from SX600 are largely sufficient to replace my old ( and fabulous) PSR 730
Great video! Although I gotta say, with your 'comparisons' here, the title of this video should be "Why the SX700 is better than the SX600".
The operating system and the big screen on the 700/900/Genos, makes a huge difference
They certainly do!
Greetings and congratulations for the video, I want to ask you a question: I saw that the SX900: 1) can record the singer's voice and 2) also when the tracks are recorded, they can be edited and changed, you can start from any musical compass and you don't need to start from the beginning of the recording. Can you do this on the SX600? Thank you very much in advance.
I have an old Yamaha PSR S700 keyboard (which came out in 2008) & didn't think they could improve it but I was wrong esspecially the backing tracks. That song clip at 30:34 sounded like radio gaga by queen.
В этом видео возможности SX 600 не раскрыты, целенаправленно делается акцент на модель SX 700.
Thanks u v much for this comprehensive analysis. Does the SX600 audio link for multi pads?
Brilliant comparison of SX 600 and 700.
🌍 Great review chris 🎹🎹 from Epiano's lol lovin your little jiggy moment @ 3m..10sec 😊 priceless
Thank you! Some not-so-kind people accused me of 'dad dancing'. Can you believe it?
Thanks. I appreciated very much this comparison. Very useful for my next purchase. Is there somewhere available a way to find the most matching piano accompaniement/arrangement dedicated to a popular song?
Thank you for your support, Bernard. I don't know of anywhere that has a concise list. I have been thinking about making one for our customers, but it'll take a while to do, I expect! I'll post it on our website blog when it's ready here: www.epianos.co.uk/blog/
@@ePianoscouk Thanks for sharing the same concern. I'll be awaiting. On other hand, has the SX700 heavy responsive keys like my current Piano Yamaha P 125?
Ps Yamaha psr sx700🎹 lovin it, its time 🕑 for an upgrade into the Future🛰 oh yeah 😎
Good review.
Is it enough of a difference to pick this over sx700 because of this having the unison and accent functions for a more controllable live action for gigs? My main focus is to have more control when playing along with the styles. What do you think?
Regards.
Excellent performance and each instrument is unique excellent. The only gripes of the 600, the screen could have been an inch or so larger AND AND the 600 could have featured a search feature. The tunes Radio Gaga, Buddy Holly and I suspect there may be some U2 mixed. Oh Sledge Hammer.
Excellent review, I was about to buy a PSR SX600 but in every way the PSR SX600 is superior. Thanks. Greetings from Lima, Peru.
Do you mean SX700?
I don't understand the explanation that demeans the SX600, which is enough for me to make a comparison, but I don't understand the video, which makes people who love the SX600 uncomfortable.
On the grand piano, he plays so much longer on the 700 than the 600. 😂 of course, it is better than the 600 but on the gran piano difference was minimum
great comparison...
The sounds of the SX700 have more reverb and wider stereo than the SX600 but both sound equally just as good. I could not tell any difference between them with the Piano voices. The SX600 can be tweaked to sound equally as impressive as the SX700 anyway. The only thing I found dissapointing about the SX range is lack of the keyboard song guide when playing midi songs. This is only found on the PSR E range. The SX range use a musical score instead and for a person learning piano the piano roll showing keys to play is more intuitive. For the price of the SX600 I am very impressed with the quality of keyboard that you get. Would I pay an extra $500 for a larger touch screen ? I'd have to say no, the SX600 is worth every penny. I find touch screens are finicky and require extra taps (37:48) (37:56), also I don't need to wipe the screen every 20 mins to clear my clammy finger prints.
I loved the unison and accent function wow that's impressive, I don't think the no touch screen would have bothered me as much and I'm way younger than you 🤣. But the sound for the strings and choirs and only two voices at once? That was the breaking point for me. The SX-600 did it's job tho.
Amazing presentation! Does this sx700 has delay fx? If so can be assigned to the control knobs?
Any idea whether an updated version of MX will be released. Especially with additional memory for third party sounds similar to the SX series.
