Finally got a hold of a downpipe that was much better than my stock one. Picked up the Megan Racing downpipe 1.5t since not a lot of people have it, and I didn't wanna spend too much on a downpipe. Sound clips are in the end of the video ( 12:38 ) Hope this video helps on how to install a downpipe as well!

Just got this installed, absolutely stunned at how loud this shit is. It’s insane. I drive a 19 sport hatch and it sounds like heaven. Thank you for recommending this downpipe, so happy with this.

Not sure if your talking to him or me, but just in case you mean me, all I’ve done so far besides cosmetic changes is A borla catback and the Megan downpipe. Sounds absolutely amazing, no longer a quiet car at all.

In all honesty, the sound itself in my opinion, simply in my opinion, is pretty gnarly. I definitely hear pops and crackles every time I drive to work. They aren’t gunshot level loud but I’ve had buddies say they hear them on the outside as well when I pass by. It COULD be considered ricey, but in my opinion I think that also depends what your car looks like while being loud. I see some of these older overly exterior modified civics here in Arizona that sound like a lawnmower giving birth. That in my view is ricey, I think these 10th gens look gorgeous, and from having this new setup for a bit now, I’d recommend this downpipe to anyone looking to get more noise out of their 10th gen. Definitely combo it with an aftermarket exhaust, and get it tuned to get rid of the check engine light, and your set!
I have a question. Where did you get that Type R wing? The only aftermarket type r wings i can find are plastic but that one looks legit

It will but you can disable that on your Tuner (Ktuner or Hondata)

I have a 2017 civic hatchback sport (CVT), I am currently running a PRL Race CAI with a Hondata base tune.
I am thinking about getting 27won downpipe and frontpipe, will sounds good if I combine it with ARK Performance DT-S type R Tri-Tip exhaust?
It will definitely sound better than my straightpipe! going to have deep tone with ARK exhaust!

It has a very loud deep sound.

I’ve ordered this downpipe and it sounds insane in your car. Definitely have to pair it with an aftermarket exhaust to get a more aggressive tone with them pops and crackles. Btw was the O2 censor spacer needed? Lil type confused on this.

Yeah just double check that your tuner limits the torque to 250
I have a 2018 civic si and bought a skunk2 catless down pipe front pipe. How hard was it to install on these cars? I’ve had it for about 2 weeks and haven’t done it yet lol
It took me 5 hours since i blasted the bolts with WD40 to loosen them up. Without the waiting time, it would probably be 2 hours and some change

Catback exhaust instead of OEM, cold air for better airflow. Just adds to this.

Yessir, 1.5T engines should fit with this DP!
i did prl fp dp, my engine bay feels hotter than usual, i reused the stock heat shield. it’s tuned so idk what’s causing it to run hot
You might want to add a heat wrap on the DP, usually it runs super hot here in FL going to 120° for me

I’m a CVT but If you want to boost it, i would say an Si but if you need the cargo space, 6MT hatch is great! I have seen a few 3XX HP hatches in manual and they pull good!
CVT is for fuel economy and daily driving mostly. There’s no high potential on the CVT due to the band might snap when you build high TQ

Did you switch your CVT fluid over to amsoil? Been watching your videos since you did the tune. I just highly recommend amsoil CVT fluid, and doing a drain and fill every 25-30k miles. Do the CVT filters at like 80k. There are technically 2 filters. Check your transmission vent tube as well. They're known to clog up. Mine started to clog at 20k! It's an often over looked item on the CVT's.
Why do you recommend amsoil over OEM fluid?

Full straight pipe 2.25 DIA. Loving how loud this is atm since i’ve been quiet for a while. I needed something different. Eventually i’ll get tired of this setup 🤙🏽

What’s good bro, I have full straight pipe on my civic on this video. Borla would sound dope with a catless! Thinking it’ll be mid toned than being super raspy alone. It’ll definitely be louder since it’ll remove the cats. Appreciate it bro 🤙🏽🔥

Thinking about getting CAI with Intercooler! I mostly prefer 27WON since the filter isn't as low and less dangerous as the PRL cobra. For intercooler, I'd get an RV6. PRL or 27WON but not sure yet!
@@DracoAzul if you haven't gotten the cai i recommend the 27won 100% my 18 civic hatch became a boat while i was in the middle of a storm and that intake saved my engine!

It seems like it only pops and crackles in L mode 😂 that sucks cuz I have the sport trim of course and I don’t have L mode 😅
I have a tune with crackles so it crackles more than it should be. With sport, use your paddles to go to 1st and it’ll be higher rpm and it’ll give some noticeable crackles!
