Hi,thank you for making this video. During the breakout rooms what type of activities are you expected to complete? I'm a little nervous as I don't like to be put on the spot with public speaking (just bad experiences from my days in school when I was young).
Yes you will be roll playing. If you come prepared you will feel better. I did a video here on my preparation for SIMS 2. It is similar for the breakout rooms as SIMS1 so it's helpful information. Preparation is everything. czcams.com/video/3E1Ggp8ILqA/video.html
Thanks a lot, your videos make me alive, always so positive , and educational, you doing great work, for all of us who are just one inch away to Give up. May I ask, does participation in the class room, add up to your marks, and can we record the class content and listen later for exam preparation. Do we need to keep the camera on for whole 9am to 5pm class
Hey so glad the videos help Sony! Great to hear! No there is no participation mark. They do want you to participate but ultimately it will be the exam that counts. I think they say you have to be on camera for 7 of the 8 hours per day. But most are on the whole time.
Hi Callum, You have been God send. I have been watching your videos for information about the courses and itâs amazing. Thank you for making these videos. I have a question with regards to the simulation 1 assessment, what format or sort of questions will we have to answer. It is hard? I did find exams 2 & 3 were little challenging. Thanks again for your videos.
Hey Esther so glad the videos have helped! The SIMS exams are a little different for sure. It's less questions but you still have the same 3hrs which is nice. They are longer worded scenario based quesitons though. So a little different than 1,2 & 3. Thanks for your sharing. Is there a written assessment during the five days? Do the Facilitators ask questions to Each student or is the group responsible for answering the questions?
Yes there is an assessment at the end on the last day. They do ask a lot of questions to the group as a whole. I think once they tried to get people involved that had really done nothing all week. But no, not singling out people at least on my 2 experiences.

Hi Callum, do you think I could do Simulation 1 while working from home 9-5?? My usual day is basically 2-3 couple of mins phone calls. Not that hectic like normal work from homes schedule. Would appreciate your response! Thanks!
I think you are allowed to be off camera for 30 mins or so each day. It might even be 1 hr each day but best to be conservative. So it might work. Could be worth a quick call to humber to ask on that one. đ
Hi Callum, unrelated question maybe, but when you published this video, you were not working in Real Estate yet, right? Cause you mentioned in the video that you didn't have Sim 2 yet. You were very confident.
I finished simulation one yesterday... how long did it take for you to get your results?? Previous exams were done at 9am...and results were available just after midnight. The results for this sim are still not available!!!
Yea all mine were after midnight including the SIMS. I think their website does say within 24hrs but usually early next day. Might be worth a call if you still don't have them soon.
Hey you will navigate there through the humber platform and access the Zoom meeting there. Not like a normal email zoom link. Let me know if you can't locate it.
Hi Callum, I'm doing my Simulation #1 in a couple of weeks and I have Zoom but my microphone doesn't work on it. I am trying hard to keep a positive mindset because I already work full time doing real estate transactions and am giving up all my days off for 3 weekends to do this and I feel this is going to be very redundant for me.
Hello Hannahs World. Unfortunately I fear this will be very redundant for you yes. đ If I were to do it again I would have every question or concern I have written down and try to at least get answers to them. But yes, I was hoping to learn more. I hope your facilitators are good, that can help for sure.
Is there anyway to book earlier than what's available online or get on a waitlist for cancellations or something? Just finished my 3rd exam but the next simulations don't start for a month...!
Nah, not really unfortunately. I know sometimes people post in the group "If anyone has anything earlier and want to switch, let me know" But I don't even know if Humber would even do that for them. I usually suggest during this window to start meeting with potential brokerages and start getting everything organized.
Hello Callum, Thanks for this so helpful information. Can I ask to have the material books for simulation 1. I donât registered yet. Just want to read ahead. Because only 5days to finish reading and do the exam. Seem very difficult for me. Thanks again!
Hey Melody. So you will have access to the material 5-7 days before the week starts. Most people don't even touch the material until the week starts though. You will go over every page of the material with your facilitators together for 5 days leading up to your exam. But if you wanted to skim through it and be more prepared you will get access usually 1 week before like mentioned. đ
If you fail you don't go backwards. If you fail once you can retake the exam you are on for $115. If you fail twice you have to purchase that same course over again but even then you don't go backwards.
Hi Callum, on the first day of sim1, do I need to login Prototrack? As it was need to login at 8am on the first day, shall I login only Humber or Humber + Prototrack? Thank you.

@@jenf4435 Oh ya the clicking thru is definitely a pain. I did it everytime day one after my first study session. I would do 3hrs just normal reading and then click through in the evening of that day.
Hi Callum, I tried clicking through the Course 1 modules to book the exam however there is a quiz that you need to answer as part of the 2nd module in order to be able to click through. Did you answer those questions or has the content been revised since you completed the course?
Yes I know what you mean, no it doesn't matter I just type in one letter then click ok or something like that. I know it seems weird but these aren't real test or anything that anyone will see. Once you go back through for real you can answer them properly if you like. đ
Hi Callum, Thank you for your videos- they are super helpful. Question- When you complete the exam for Course 3, can you book the simulation to start the following week? Example: you take the exam on a thursday, can you book the simulation right away to start on the following Monday? Or will we only be able to book 7 days out? Thanks again!
Hey Kristina glad the videos help! It will depend on availability unfortunately. I just had a look for you and it looks like the closest date is 18 days out. Again unfortunate for sure. I usually suggest for people to start searching/meeting with people about brokerages or preparing headshot etc during this time. Because you donât have to study or prepare that much for the SIMS. Most of what you need to know to pass the exam you will learn that week.
Hey so not the Simulation sessions. There is 2 of them. They are both about 35hrs and right now they are done on Zoom. So only 2 weeks of the entire program right now you have to be on their schedule.
Hey Brayden. So I don't do any tutoring now. I did it for a couple people but I found the student was having a hard time retaining the knowledge in a 1hr session. It was also costly for the student. But I have now put together my Exam Master Mini Courses from C1 to SIMS 2. Itâs my exact fundamentals I used to pass every exam first try, as well as Exam Master Mini Notes, Mini Quizzes and I also breakdown 35+ questions on video that you will see on the exam. There is a TON of value in those courses and if Iâm being honest, itâs WAY more value than I could actually give to anyone during a 1 hour tutoring session if you know what I mean. And plus you can have it to refer back to for a fraction of the cost of a 1 hr tutoring session. It just seems more practical for everyone. But I do understand that some students do learn well from that 1-on-1 environment. If you think the Exam Master Mini Courses could help, let me know and I will link it for the course you are on. If you really need tutoring I might be able to recommend someone as well. Email me here anytime. - callummoorekw@gmail.com
Hey! So i just passed the 3rd exam. how long should i wait before i register? Im afraid I don't remember the majority of course 1 and 2 Ill def. need to reread various times. any advice??
I would register right away. I just checked and it looks like the closest for you is about 2 weeks out. You will learn everything you will need to know to pass the assessment during that week. đ And congrats on the C3 pass!!
I wouldn't say awkward. All the other students I have been in the breakout rooms have been great. Everyone is in the same boat, everyone's new to it. They are a little nerve-racking but you start to get a feel for them and if you follow the key points they give you in the material it's basically reading to each other.

Hi ,can u please tell me any maths portion in course 1? Thx
Hi Callum, have you created a clip regarding Sim. 1 assessment exam what to expect and how to prepare.
I donât really no. But longer worded scenario based questions. Only 50 and you still get the full 3hrs so LOTS of time.
Great videos and thanks for answering lots of questions. You mentioned using a second monitor, as they do at Humber as well. Do you think I could use a split screen (one monitor on a laptop) with zoom on one side and course material on the other?
Hey awesome glad to help John! Yea that seems like it would fly as well. Definitely a few ways to make it work. đ
Keep it up bro this is excellent content! :))
Cheers man thanks for that! đđ
Helpful. Thank you!
Awesome to hear, thanks Wendy!

Glad it helped!
I just passed my C3 exam and was shitting my pants thinking about having to do the Simulation next. This made me feel a bit better.
đ lol awesome glad it helped! Congrats on the C3 pass as well. đ
I'll link to a video I did on the SIMS 1 exam Esther just incase you haven't watched it yet. đ I personally found the exam a little easier than exam 2 for instance. czcams.com/video/xkG11FGGM1w/video.html
@@CallumMoorekw Thank you so much for taking your time to reply to my message. I appreciate your help and support. God bless you.
Yeah, if I'm playing $750 for a simulation. They better not try to pull "what do you think". You're the professional... you tell me!

Yes. A few of these videos I would do the course and immediately make a video of my thoughts. đ
Callum is the Zoom invitation sent out a couple of days before Day 1 of the class? How do students know how to get started on Day 1?
Hey you will navigate there through the humber platform and access the Zoom meeting there. Not like a normal email zoom link. Let me know if you can't locate it.
Do you explain in your own words the buyers representation agreement, etc in the breakout rooms?
Hey I have a video on the BRA. I'll link it here. Let me know if you mean something else? czcams.com/video/Lbmf9Uq38Fo/video.html

Hi Callum,
I'm doing my Simulation #1 in a couple of weeks and I have Zoom but my microphone doesn't work on it. Are the questions and break out rooms in video or is everything text written in the chat box? And when we ask and answer questions during the session in general is it with voice/microphone or writing in the chat boxes? Thanks for your videos they've really helped me throughout the program.

Hello Hannahs World. 1 hour lunch thats it. Small breaks maybe one 5-10mins break in the morning and on in the afternoon.
Are you allowed to access your phone during? All my notes are written on it
Hey so definitely not. No notes or phones can be on your desk during the exam.
Do we use proctor track during the simulation?
Only at the end for the assessment. đ
Does passing SIM 1 only base on the Exam? No marks for role-play or in class participation?
Yes it's all based on the exam. Role playing counts as participation that is mandatory.
Great video. Subbed and knocked you on Instagram.
Hey thanks! Got it!

Hey Melody. So you will have access to the material 5-7 days before the week starts. Most people don't even touch the material until the week starts though. For SIMS 1 it is still 5 days. So it would be spread out over 3 consecutive weekends. SIMS 2 is only 4 days so you can get it done in 2.
Thanks for the information, l have a question about assessment what is that?
Hey no problem. The exam at the end of the week đ
So what will happen if you start the course and mid way fail a part say Sim 2. What will happen to the rest of the course?
If you fail you don't go backwards. If you fail once you can retake the exam you are on for $115. If you fail twice you have to purchase that same course over again but even then you don't go backwards.
Hi Callum, on the first day of sim1, do I need to login Prototrack? As it was need to login at 8am on the first day, shall I login only Humber or Humber + Prototrack? Thank you.

Yes I know what you mean, no it doesn't matter I just type in one letter then click ok or something like that. I know it seems weird but these aren't real test or anything that anyone will see. Once you go back through for real you can answer them properly if you like. đ

Hi ,is that assessment and zoom class activity add in your exam score? Or if I get 38 questions get right pass with 76% pass
Yes the only thing that counts towards you passing is the exam itself on your last day. The class activities are only for learning. đ
Hi Callum. I was under the impression that everything was online and you do it on your own time?
Hey so not the Simulation sessions. There is 2 of them. They are both about 35hrs and right now they are done on Zoom. So only 2 weeks of the entire program right now you have to be on their schedule.
@@CallumMoorekw gotcha! thanks for your reply! :)
Would you consider tutoring privately? If so, i am willing to pay.

I wouldn't say awkward. All the other students I have been in the breakout rooms have been great. Everyone is in the same boat, everyone's new to it. They are a little nerve-racking but you start to get a feel for them and if you follow the key points they give you in the material it's basically reading to each other.
