The FBI had it and if they'd found something incriminating on it, they'd have acted on it. The GOP already knows that, but they also know that there's no way the FBI will release the contents of the laptop, so they still have their red herring.

During the entire 2022 campaigning, the talked about fixing gas prices, the economy, and the border. I called it from day 1 that they would abandon all of that as soon as the elections were done and the laptop and Hunter would be center stage again.
