The illusion of free will, unconsciously fulfilling our destiny. This video really gave me "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" vibes especially at the end when it started to loop back at the beginning and I dig it! We are often narrators (not authors) of our own story.

Hey, happy birthday! I suppose it's mature not to have a cake, but maybe buying yourself a cake is the most mature thing of all. You don't see five-year-olds going off and buying themselves cake. I do hope you have someone to buy a cake for you, and if not, then making a cake could be a good way to pass the time. I'm glad you're in this life, and most of all, I hope you have a passion for the life you're in. Do you eat meat? There's this spaghetti carbonara recipe I like. Maybe a birthday spaghetti carbonara should be the tradition on birthdays, but pasta isn't great for holding candles. I speak from the experience of a man with burnt fingertips and waxy pasta. How old are you now? Don't feel pressured to answer. You'll be older than you can say, as you would have managed to age within the time of the response. Guess the only thing left to do is say, "I hope you have a good life." And you'll have a good life by doing good things, so continue to have kindness in your heart and an interest in the world you're in.
