Note that the Gen 2 (2008-2012) has a different engine and transmission starting in 2009. The Gen 1 engine and transmission carried over in the Gen 2 model (2008). It has a different design and transmission sump drain bolt.
Did you use a total of 15 quarts of atf and do you also have a 3.0 v6 flex? I am also gonna try to do this but when I checked the manual it says it takes 9 quarts of atf.
Changing fluid doesn't hurt anything. It prevents future problems. If the trans slips after a fluid change, add Lucas. Your trans was fucked before the change anyways and didn't have long.

Per Ford Manual, it suppose to be use Mercon V, but you are using Mercon LV. What is the difference?
Online sources and my manual say mercon LV. Not sure why your manual is different.
I believe the only use Mercon V is the 2008 model
Am I able to use Mobil 1 transmission fluid? The bottle said it can be used by ford vehicles, I have a 2011 Ford Escape.

It was a total of 15 quarts yes. And yes I have the 3.0 flex. The best way to check is using the dip stick for the transmission.
