I’ve got a minds eye and for years I used to daydream until it got to be a problem. It started happening automatically by itself. The habit of daydreaming rewired my brain. I found out others have had this happen as well. It’s a mental condition called maladaptive daydreaming. It’s an intense cycle that becomes addictive. I was able to disrupt the cycle and stop it. A year later I went through some trauma in the work place. Now, I’ve got really bad anxiety. But no daydreaming. I still visualize things very clear. This is proof that the mind change its neural plasticity. I know I can beat this anxiety.

I have not listened to this video yet Anthony, but I did just receive your book in the mail titled, Math Numbers and Equations. As I prepare for my last major mountain to get my degree. Referring to my math classes. I really like the suggestion about just peering into rooms as you walk through your memory palace. That was a great suggestion and cleared up a lot of confusion I had when you used to talk about never crossing your path as you walk through.I also like how you often say don't overthink a memory palace and if you have to think about a memory palace being a good memory palace, it's not a good memory palace.

Hello sir. Actually, I'm using memory techniques for my courses. It's a success, but I wonder If I can make better. For now, I'm using the memory palace, mental associations and some others.
But if I add the five senses in each of my mental associations, will I memorize much better? Will the image become "stuck" in my mind rapidly?
I must admit adding five sens to an mental association require exercises.

@@AnthonyMetivierMMM I'll try, thanks for your reply. Figuring out I lack every form of imagination has really made me sad. My own personal reality is only the impulses i get from the world in real time. I cant imagine any memory or emotion ive had in the past with friends or family. Sort of explains why my inner life has always felt so flat...

I don't know what will happen with any certainty, but I have seen many others turn this around. It just takes a bit of practice, self-reflection and a burning desire to see it through to the point of transformation.
That can sound like a lot of requirements in the beginning, but people can often build up the necessary steam as they go. It's just a matter of planning the practice and showing up consistently. The "open secret" behind success in many things.
