- How to Use Visualization to Reach Your Goal: A Step By Step Guide. In this video I am going to explain how to visualize 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐔𝐬 𝐡𝐭𝐭𝐩𝐬://𝐝𝐫𝐰𝐞𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠.𝐜𝐨𝐦/𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭/ In our previous video I explained How Visualization Can Help You Reach Any Goal. Visualisation, also known in sports as mental imagery, is a personal development technique that can help you reach your goals. University Studies in Germany, Belgium, UK, Australia, US, Canada and Russia have shown over and over again that imagining and mentally rehearsing can help you be more successful and achieve your milestones. Professional athletes are most well-known for using this technique, but anyone can apply it to their personal and professional lives.
------------------------------------------------
80% of life experiences are what we make of life and less than 20% are uncontrollable circumstances and event. The truth is we can always do something to change the situation. However, many choose because of fear and the comfort zone choose not to take action or to remain victims. If you find yourself stuck here are some resources that will help you! 😁
Just like an Olympic gymnast can visualise a perfectly executed floor routine, you can visualise a perfectly executed presentation, job interview or even idea pitch to venture captialist
By using mental imagery, you can build confidence while improving your technique. But visualising is more than thinking about something. Visualisation requires more steps and more detail than simple thoughts.
How to Visualize, Step by Step
1st Step: Go Somewhere Quiet and Private
Visualisation requires focus. Find a quiet and private place where you will not be disturbed. If possible, use the same location every time you practice mental imagery. By using a familiar space, you can get in the zone more quickly every session.
2nd Step: Clear Your Mind
Usually we do this by taking long, slow breaths to help clear your mind. Push away worries and to-do lists. Get yourself in the zone to focus on the task at hand.
3rd Step: Think of Your Goal
Close your eyes and think of the goal, feel yourself accomplishing that goal, See yourself accomplishing that goal new behaviour or skill you wish to acquire. Think of the steps required to complete that goal. Think of how you want to perform or act to accomplish your goal.
4th Step: Envision Yourself Completing the Goal
Now that you have your goal in mind, visualise yourself completing the goal by mentally going through the motions step-by-step. Most people visualize this step like seeing a movie, but with two possible perspectives.
Some people visualize the experience as if they are watching a movie of themselves and others as watching as a spectator.
In another words, you can visualize it as if you are the actor playing the starring role within the movie, or you can experience the movie from the inside out. Visualize in 1st person or 3rd person
Discovering which perspective works best for you is a personal choice and is a matter of trial and error. Just go with whichever method feels more natural to you. Sometimes both perspectives can used interchangeably and both will help you.
5th Step: Add as Much Detail as You Can
Employ all your senses. As you experience your movie, use your imagination to fill in as many details as possible. It´s really important to ADD EMOTION, feeling, sights, sounds, smells, and even tastes you would experience in that event.
The more detail you can include, the better.
Also use mental imagery to practice every movement, facial expression, confident voice, or any other physical factor that will help lead to success. Don’t forget the emotional aspects, either. Imagine yourself working through and controlling emotions.
6th Step Six: Practice
The more you practice mental imagery, the better you get. It is recommended you practice two times per day for about 10 minutes each session. With time, mental rehearsal may begin to feel like virtual reality. And with your correct practice and time, the visualisation will eventually become your reality.
7th Step: Stay Positive and consistant
Visualisation is a strategy that trains your mind and body and it takes time. Just like Olympic athletes, you must commit to a training schedule and stick with it. Over time, you will find yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally stronger.
Conclusion: Does Visualisation Actually Work?
Mental imagery is a proven tool to develop yourself that every person should use to improve their personal and professional lives.

@@drwebercoaching I’m trying to manifest my own house and when I’m closing my eyes I see my self inside the house I desire but still can’t vividly see the images 🥲 any tips to help me see it vividly like it’s real real
Visualisation is very important for me as i want to become an actor
Yes many fine actors use visualisation
@@drwebercoaching u reply v fast
sorry i didn't see your comment until now...technology 🤣
@@drwebercoaching i didn't understand you?
I've just found your channel. You've mentioned visualizing twice a day. If I need to create two different things, one being a physical healing and the other being a means of earning a living. Both are urgently needed. Can I work on them both in the same day say one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, or should I only do one until it has been accomplished then more on to the other? Many thanks.
@@drwebercoachingReally?Is your consultation free?
Yes, sometimes, I help people for free. If not, my rates are $250 an hour for corporate clients.
I have a problem with visualizing a face
I've been making mental images in my head before I even knew what visualizing was for example when I was I kid whenever I watch a movie and I don't like the ending I create the ending that I want in my head but the problem has always been the faces I never get a clear face or even a face at all
Now ever since I heard about visualization and manifestation and I hear things like visualize yourself or visualize someone doing something I don't know what to do because no matter how much I try I never get a face and even if I do it always incomplete or it a face of someone I don't even know.
In short I can visualize things objects anything but people I can not make an image of myself or someone in my head.
And also when I here things like feel the feeling/emotions I become clueless again because I don't know how. 😭😭😭
It's not necessary to visualize the face. Just visualizing the person and knowing its that person should be enough. After all visualisation is working with energy. Visualisation sort of modifies your perception of events and experiences 👌
@@drwebercoaching
Thank you very much for your reply
But how about the problem I have with feeling an emotion.
It's not that I can't feel at all, I can. But, I just can't feel the emotion. Ok let's say for example, Someone gives me a car, any normal person will feel happy and I would feel happy. I know that I should be happy and but to actually tap into that feeling of happiness I don't know how to do that.
I don't know if you understand me let me give another example okay I have been listening to a guided meditation on mindfulness every morning but every time the voice tells me to feel the emotion or be aware of the emotions I am feeling at the moment nothing happens. I close my eyes , place my hand on the area where my heart is located to feel something but NOTHING come . No feeling no emotion, just the clueless me 😭
Sometimes i think I have no emotions at all but I do, I just don't know how to feel it. And feeling emotions can really help with Visualization big time.
Sorry for the long text. 😅😅
I could teach you it's difficult with msg. Best book a call calendly.com/d/y5k-g7q-4fw/30-minute-consultation i generally charge a consulting fee but first i need to speak with you to see if i can help you

Hey i have one question that as after visualization in present when we open our eyes what should we think our visualize scnario is past now as i visualize in present but after complete visualize and after open eyes that scnario i mean our imaginary scnario is past or what should i think as i want manifest height i want grow tall i visualize in present that friend saying me that i am tall now so after visualization i should think my friend already said in real life or what????
We want to visualize as if it's NOW and the "PRESENT MOMENT"
However, visualization is great to increase performance especially in sports! The arts, acting, theatre, public speaking, important job interviews etc...
Maybe even help with weight loss but there might be some limitations. Like trying to become invisible or grow physically taller might be more challenging.
At the end it's our perception of self that counts not how short or tall we are.
I for example always wanted to be taller as child but God made bit shorter like 173cm more or less. But I don't feel short unless I am standing next to a Viking 😂😁
I have a doubt can i visualize the same image of the goal or different images of the goal?
You can visualize both. The most important part is that you see yourself accomplishing the goal [in your minds eye] and "feel" how you would feel accomplishing that goal
I can visualise but I find it hard to add in smells in for some odd reason but can add in sound, touch and hit and miss with taste does anyone else have this issue? Any advise would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏼
Just practice and you'll get better. Some days are easier to visualize than others. How you slept, what you ate, stress are all factors that will influence your visualization experience
I am sorry about the delay I didn't see your message until today😂
3rd person imagination is proved to be more beneficial
Awesome I'm glad to know that 👍keep up good work 🙂
That's really interesting. Do you enjoy it?
@@drwebercoaching yes i try to visualise ....but my mental image is not that strong it's very faint....i can hardly see anything properly.....but i still enjoyed it...
Do you have a very strong mental image??
Thank you so much ,🙏
Practice late night when sleepy for best results
Yes, when sleepy can be good too 😀
What is the perfect time to visualize
It depends on you. I find early mornings (because I am relaxed more in the alfa brainwave mode and right before bed to be best. Before sleep is best because it gives the visualization an opportunity to start to reprogram the subconscious mind, so to speak. I have a video explaining how brain waves effect us and it be published soon. (I hope)
What about people with aphantasia?
That's a great question, about Aphantasia.
My understanding is the brain has difficulty forming or use mental images as part of your thinking or imagination.
I would image that to some degree repetitive practising of mental imagery could be develop the ability to visualize. I say this because based on what we know about neuroplasticity.
Further, know according to neuroscience studies that the brain at times can compensate and use other parts of the brain.
Although the cause of Aphantasia such as organic trauma might be variable.
Either way visualization is more than just images it involves most importantly emotional connection to the visualization.
thank you great video, i have one doubt. My long term goal is for 1 year, 5 year, 10year all focus on 1 long term big goal (10yrs). Should i want to visualize 1 year goal or 10y long term goal?
Seriously thats a great question 👍
With visualisation time is secondary. This might be hard to swallow but actually time only an experience here on planet earth. It has NO BARRING on your desires.
It's kinda like what we perceive as a global mess. It's all happen before meaning. Do you actually think life was better in ancient Rome or Persia. Do you think people and their leaders are better than the past. Give push to shove and i guarantee you humans have not evolved that much in 5,000 years.
So short answer when visualizing time has no effect. Imagine as you wish....put patience, emotion for the desired outcome. And dont forget about charity or helping others. If we dont help others your, my existence is meaningless. Another words, if i dont help others it would be best i had not been born.
@@drwebercoaching Thank you for replying in minutes. So, I can visualize ideal life after 5-10 years that means 1 big goal only and make yearly goal as goal?
@@inspiringtamil8915 that would be best...remember attached feelings/emotions to those visualisation and help other without expecting anything in return and you'll be rewarded and surprised
@@OptimaFocusCoaching-vy7lqattaching emotions to it is little hard part its feels more forced feeling not natural one
The feeling part of the visualization is the hardest.
It kinda feels like forced emotions not natural.
The emotion must flow naturally not be forced.
Is visualization and meditation not the ?
same
Thank you for your feedback 🙂
can you visualize while your eyes open
Yes absolutely however it "normally" would require advanced skills.
Will VISUALIZATION help improve my memory?¿
For most people it will help you improve your memory
But first person view actually work with 6 sense
Thank you for pointing it out. Unfortunately, most people wouldn't understand a sixth sense without actually having had the experience, don't you agree 😉
@@drwebercoaching most people don't realise it. How effective it is? Thank u sr. I actually manifest Ur reply.😊
Amsoo, We all manifest everything every living moment. Granted most people are unaware or willing to take responsibility. Look at and research any elite athlete.
@@drwebercoaching haha. Thank you so much sir😋
There are many great books o. he subject: authors Neville Goddard, Elkhart Tolle, Wayne Dyer will point you in the right direction. 👍
The problem with me is that
I just can't see any image related to what I'm thinking
Rather something negative (bad) comes to me in the form of images 😐😞
Some people sometimes have this experience.
Try making those negative (bad) images smaller. what you notice when you make those images smaller?
@@drwebercoaching can you please elaborate
Why do you mean by making the images smaller?
It would be easier to explain via zoom or Skype but basically it's about making images smaller in your mind's eye. You visualize the negative image smaller.
If you want help let's schedule a free time to speak 😊
@@drwebercoaching 😅I think it wouldn't be possible for me
@@drwebercoachingcan you think of something else
How do you leave negative fantasies that you see every day until they don't leave me? I had a psychological crisis. I was able to overcome the thoughts, but the fantasies remained.

Do I need to visualise daily
It's like exercise, the more you practice the better you get. Success requires discipline and persistence. There's no short cut for positive longterm results. Anyone who promises you otherwise is being dishonest.
@@drwebercoaching but i still don't get it.. do I need to visualise the same thing daily till it comes true.
Yes, you do need a daily practise. However there's a trick to it which I can't explain well via msg.
